i started the battlefield franchise with battlefield 4 story mode, but first time in multiplayer was battlefield 1. I was absolutely blown away. I spent years getting the peace keeper, i still play this game to this day because it is unbelievably beautiful.

I play battlefield 1 everyday and I still think that it’s the best battlefield in the series. I fell in love with this game and every time I play it I ALWAYS have fun, it still remains to be such a great masterpiece that will continue to be played until the servers are gone.
Ps4/5 EU is slowly dying. In the morning there are like 3 servers but in the evening there are a lot of servers that are full cq/tdm/operations. But you rarely see a full dlc server. I remember back in 2021 there used to be more servers. But nevertheless if there are some full servers im happy

At the start of the video you mention feeling nervous, i love that because only certain games have ingrained in our minds to feel that. Bf1 was to me the peak of bf, i love that game so much, it hits everything right for me. The atmosphere and gameplay are unmatched, i just redownloaded it after a couple years without it, and im so excited to get off work to play it.
One of the most epic moments I have ever done in Battlefield 1, was playing a super epic and cinematic game full of explosions, shoots and even an entire team charge while playing in the background the song, "The call" Of 2WEI. Try it yourself and you will feel the epicness on your screen and ears
Picked up battlefield 1 a few weeks ago after a 2 year break, and what can I say? I had such a blast on almost every map. I now play it weekly again and every single time I have a fun experience. Can't say the same about bf2042, though. I get bored after 1 match

BF1 took my interest in history and expanded so much I can’t describe it. It was my first real fps game, and it sucked me into the genre. It’s a beautifully crafted masterpiece and one that will live on in my heart forever
(Yeah I'm commenting again) I just started doing the Peacekeeper Easter egg. Tried it when it was discovered and actually got the Somme and Caporetto dog tags but gave up with the morse codes because I didn't have a method to decode them. But now? Damn it's fun. I already did the hardest part which is the damn headphones thing (took me from 12 to 6 am, worth it) and now I just need the weapon skin in Albion, the Soissons light puzzle and the Zeebrugge morse code. I'll come back when I unlock it!!!

Unpopular opinion, but I thought random bullet deviation added to the immersion. Bullets don't shoot out exactly the same each time out of real guns, and probably more so for WWI era firearms
Best FPS ever. The atmosphere is unbeatable, music great, and it's got different guns and gadgets from literally every other shooter game, which makes it so unique. I get tired of leveling up the same modern and futuristic guns and equipment. And they accomplished this all in the WW1 setting! Something no other game has done! (Verdun and Tannenberg down count, they fell off hard. People are still playing BF1).
Take me back to when this was the current BF game and it had a bigger playbase, one of, if not the best multiplayer experiences I ever had. I adore this game so much. Just hard to play in AUS as there’s not many servers. But I’ll forever cherish BF1.

Random console tip for beginners: swap your button mappings for melee and crouch. That way you can crouch/prone without having to take your thumb off the stick. For example, you can be running, slide into prone while turning around 180 degrees and you never had to take your thumbs off the stick. 👌
As a BF1942 vet that quit playing games after BF3, I just HAD to buy BF1 and BF5 after I recently built a new PC. I did about 40 hours in BF5 and only did ONE round in BF1. I got killed too often which wasn't too much fun. After seeing this video, I will definitely fire up my new gaming rig and get back to BF1 to give it a chance. Definitely looks and sounds great.
Battlefield 1 is the best battlefield of the modern era still so ridiculously fun and absolutely gorgeous even on my lil bros ps4 and it’s a game I’ve devoted months in even in 2024 making a brand new acct and starting from scratch
I’ve been playing BF5 since Christmas and I really enjoy it, now there was a recent sale again so I picked up BF1 playing it for the first time in 4-5 years. Gotta say the atmosphere the level design the sound design is simply untouchable in BF1. Yeah the gunplay and movement feels a lot better in BF5, but BF1 just clears in every other aspect.
I'd love to experience this game again for the fist time but with the knowledge and skill I picked up playing BF1 and BFV... only because BF1 was my first FPS and I sucked for a while at it. Still a fantastic game to this day though!
I really like the hit detection and latency in this game. Everything just feels so crisp. You don't feel like you're being cheated because of lag or bad optimization. My ping is so low on this game too compared to others. It's only 18 ping when in most games it's 40+.

10/10 over 4000 hours . Quarter million kills and most as infantry mainly Assault. Game is Legendary and so glad I played with all the console sweats at the time. I have clips I still watch sometimes. One of my favorite maps ofcourse was Fort DE Vaux for High kill games. 8man infantry dynamite kills beginning of matches
