0:29 In my opinion I really like the M1903 Experimental. I know that compared to other rifles like the Gewehr and the SMLE it isn't that great, but the versatility of being able to switch from bolt-action, high-powered rounds to a low recoil, semi-automatic conversion all in one rifle is what I love about it the most.
It’s like the one semi auto rifle for recon too. Requires less aim
It's one of those kind of weapons that's easy to use, but hard to master when you first use it.
Gives a great option to change the style of play on the move though.

@@BrunoBluthgeldnah BF5 was amazing (i didn’t buy at launch so idk back then) but personally the vibe of BF1 is just different levels, like how the behemoths come in to play and change the whole way the map is played is incredibly unique. BF5 feels more polished well rounded and balanced. Also quite realistic to what WW2 would actually be like whereas the BF1 WW1 feels like an alternate timeline/universe with a lot of the unique weapons you can utilise it’s just crazy. I love both games tho. 1000 times better than 2042.
@@JustinLT212 We must be talking about different BFVs then. Anti-air that can get you practically anywhere in the map, upgrades that give experienced players even more advantage over new ones + V1 rockets, is that balanced? Building stuff and vehicle cusomisation & mechanics was truly nice but smaller maps with lots of choke points easily led to inability to leave your own base for an entire round. I wouldn't call it an improvement from BF1.
And realism? You must be kidding. Women on battlefield? No swastikas or Nazi symbols? No sign of Hitler at all? Where the hell are the Soviets? What on earth are those 'elite' comic-book-like skins? A guy with a metal plate on his face? Is that a joke? A woman in a gas mask and a hatchet? That's the essence of WWII? Admittedly, BF1 had black German snipers and only two armies were without women and/or extra-european soldiers in their ranks but BFV showed a completely new level of ridiculousness. That's what eventually made me leave the game: it doesn't feel like WWII but a "politically correct" ersatz. Despite all its faults, BF1 was more toned down at least in terms of visuals.
Oh my, sorry for ranting. Still, we can agree on 2042. One look was enough to put me off. I wouldn't buy another BF after V anyway. Man, how I wish for a worthy successor of Battlefield 1!

Tbag is the reason I bought bf1 after 2 weeks of playing I was hooked I bought all the dlcs and don’t regret it one of the best games I’ve played
I'm 13 I used to play when I was like 7 and I recently came back to playing it and it still hits different. For sure still the best battlefield.
I still play this game daily, the servers are very much full and ive seen a lot of new players lately. It makes me so happy that this game is still alive.

@@Kai-no9os bf1 on xbox is buggy but heres how I got servers to work for me,
go into the server browser and into filters, in filters go into "available players slots" (or whatever its called smth similar)
and make sure you have all the options selected, including "none" and "full." This should easily open up 60+ servers, at least 15 of which are active, mostly just conquest and operation servers but maybe 1 or 2 tdm servers...
(also make sure you select all maps as that will help)

My friend and i are still playing this masterpiece since we were in 11th grade. We will never forget each time a dlc came out, there will be that one crazy infantry based map that got us hooked and stayed up late on weekend

TBAG, please, we need more bf1 as I just played it today and the memories are flooding back. We need more content and support again for this masterpiece. This is the way AAA games should be. BF1 and CS:GO are the GOAT games. We need all games to have this dedication and attention to detail that bf1 has. Peace and love to all

The fall of a blimp was one of the greatest things in BF1, and I personally think that the V1 Rocket in BF5, was an incredible successor
Really? I think V1s suck in comparison with the glorious sight of a zeppelin crashing down in flames. It something that makes you stop and just admire the view while V1 just makes you think "F***" before you die, letting some smartass farm kills without any effort. It's one of the reasons that put me off of BFV for good.

Nobody's mentioned that hardcore servers in BF1 is the best WW1 experience (no minimap, no markers, double damage, friendly fire, etc.) . I've had so much fun in that mode it's a big bummer nobody plays hardcore today.

Everything about this game is beautiful. I dont play it nowadays but it will be always my favourite.
Graphics, maps and especially killing count sound everytime you kill enemy is so satisfying. I didnt play BF5 it also seems very nice but BF1 is completely another level for me.
I just love this game. It is in my opinion best Battlefield game
