Just cuz he had steve carrell and Louie C.K. doesnt mean it was ahead of its time. This bit wasnt funny at all. This show sucked, hence why it wasnt around very long
When I got a blood transfusion, after they took all my blood out, I got up and ran out of the hospital before they could put the new blood in! It was so funny! I sure got them good! Man, doctors can be so gullible!
Hahahaha, me and my buddies actually did this type of thing before in high school… and then I bought this DVD afterwards and this skit/show is so funny!
Same with my dik replacement! Mine got mangled in a freak accident when my wang got covered in peanut butter somehow, and my dog destroyed it like a jerk. They cut it off and were going to sew on a replacement from some dead doner, and when those gullible doctors turned their backs... I ran right on out! I've been sitting to urinate ever since! 😂 What a bunch of morons! 🤓
I've been looking for this clip for a while, and it's always fun to watch something you saw years ago, and then realize "oh THAT'S who the other guy was?!"
haha omg im crying laughing, when they are freaking out in the car after they pull away from the movie theater...funniest thing ive seen in a long time. That face steve makes lol
I have memories of this sketch, but completely forgot it was from this show. I had assumed it was a Mad TV sketch. 15 year old me, obviously never knew who Steve Carrelll was. It was just Dana Carvey and some other guy to me, but Steve is the one who makes this funny. Dana seems to be just following Steve's lead, trying to match his intensity.
I thought the exact Same thing! I thought it was mad tv for years I couldn’t find it and I thought it was mike myers until I randomly remembered this show and found it.
lol. I remember this. I remember seeing the snow thing and thinking "I don't get it. They did the hard part but they're not gonna get paid." I was a stupid kid back then and couldn't appreciate the joke. I think of this stupid clip everytime I shovel the snow.
Yeah, it was a sketch comedy show that got cancelled after 7 of the 8 episodes aired. Louis was one of the head writers on the show, and made some small cameos. There's a DVD and torrents of the show out there.
@@nickcc3065 Normally I would agree and say that's the lowest form of comment. But that does seem exactly like the behavior of a young Michael Scott. You definitely see him in there.
Watch Louis's Paley Center interview where he talks about this. He says, and he's right, that a show like this had no business being on prime time network TV. It wasn't for prime time network TV watchers, it should have been late night.
Dana had a buddy that was into this kinda humor who had settled down and had a family. They were talking and he was complaining about not being able to stay up late enough to see good comedy, and Dana got the idea for the primetime show
made me laugh. The documentary was a treat to find on Hulu for which I have a 30-day free trial. That's a great way to access some stuff that you don't want to have to pay for long-term
@@themmiatadays176 omg me too! it's fantastic. it makes me sad that the show wasn't well received and ultimately cancelled, but how amazing was it that it paved the way for all of those actors' careers....except for the one female in the cast - I'm not sure what she ended up doing
I remember my friend and i watched this as kids and thought it was the god damned funniest thing. Now that we know it was Steve Carrell and Louis CK its even better haha
I remember my grandma and grandpa watching this. They were looking at it like what the hell is so funny? Kinda explains how stupid our humor is today, and at that time compared to their time.
when I was 16 i pissed myself watching this show...i waited every week to see what the new sponsor was....these pranks are what I mainly remember laughing at so fucking hard, like rolling on the ground, with tears. had no idea who carrell and louis were obviously.
Dana Carvey’s humor was just a bit ahead of its time. The idea of having someone “sponsor” shows show each week was funny and I wish it had panned out better. Carver had all these comedy greats on his show but nobody new it at the time. Louis CK, Dino Stamatoplous, Conan, Steve Carrell. It was loaded with comedy talent on and off screen
Watched it all the way through and didn't see Louis C.K. Watched it all the way through a second time and didn't see Louis C.K. Watched it all the way through a third time and again didn't see Louis C.K. Was Louis C.K. the Ticket Seller? Or the Old Lady? Both?
I've always admired Steve Carell's willingness to do self-deprecating characters; idiots and vain egotists of all kinds, but it runs counter to the aloofness he showed after his success in The Office.
Jokes on you. I liked the video before watching and immediately closed it
hahaha
I see what you did there...
lol
I deleted my phone even before I made this comment 😂
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I didn't even know this show existed. Some of the material is bonkers hilarious.
It was ahead of its time. The weekly sponsor change alone was hilarious
I've tried all these Pranks...and they worked perfectly!!!
There's a sucker born everyday
This show was at least 10 years ahead of its time, an absolute tragedy
Just cuz he had steve carrell and Louie C.K. doesnt mean it was ahead of its time. This bit wasnt funny at all. This show sucked, hence why it wasnt around very long
@@MemphisKilljoyhairy balls
So, it's still outdated? Since ten years ahead would be like 2010 at the absolute latest?
@@MemphisKilljoygo back to your Amy Schumer jokes dude. You obviously can't figure out anything smarter than that.
Not really, Kids in the hall were doing similar stuff years before.

There should be a word for that
My high school teacher was talking about this sketch the next day when it originally aired.
where do i send the🍪?
Steve Carells facial expressions are so on point and why I love him!
haha omg im crying laughing, when they are freaking out in the car after they pull away from the movie theater...funniest thing ive seen in a long time. That face steve makes lol
It is NOT that funny buddy
I love how Steve Carell mocks people as part of his self-effacing humor. It's just so funny how he does it.
Where's the humor part?
THIS IS HILARIOUS
such a relief to know other people laugh like i do....lol

Kids in the Hall vibe to this one.
Gay and unfunny? Yep.

Wish they showed this as a flash back on the Office😁.
😂😂😂😂
One of their best. Everytime.
If it has Dana Carvey, I will watch it.
Dana and Steve are funny together

I love both of these guys!!!! So hilarious!!!!
Omg they are so young!!! I think Louis C.K. was still a fetus!
CK was just starting to NY eat fat. Look at him from some clips from 1988 when he was starting out.

I watched every episode of this show when it first aired.

Yeah they stole this sketch from kids in the hall
Yes and I’m okay with that.
This is the best!
The 3 funniest men of the last 30 years in one scene together.

This is gold!
Those rascals!😂
dana carvey's hair is badass
So funny, thanks for sharing. 😄👍🏼
This has to be written by Louis😂!

Louis ck is the ticket guy lol
The writing was brilliant for this show: Louis CK, Charlie Kaufman, Carrell, Cobert, Robert Smigel, etc.
A little kids in the hall homage here
Is it just me or is Steve Carrells lack of seat belt wearing really upsetting?! 🤪
the seatbelts and the cares in the world at this time, both did not exist :)
This is exactly my humor
Holy shit, Louis C.K probably actually worked there at that time.
and if you think other than his stand up everything he touched turned to crap. this is absimal
Thanks Joe.
Haha holy their so young especially Louis

Then decades later, these characters became a reality in the form of Prank Invasion, Johal, Fouseytube, et al...
I'm pretty sure that Steve Carrell looked 38, when he was 15.
Awwww you so mean
These guys remind me of two guys from my school.
This show was ten years behind its time.
So it should have came out in 1986? I think the show was AHEAD of its time, but thats just my opinion

wow! The Dana Carvey Show you say?!
Back when only Seinfeld was allowed to be truly funny on TV. Today this show would be a hit.
Oh my God look at Louis CK
Wait, did this come out before Dumb and Dumber?
Nah The Dana Carvey Show aired in the spring of 1996, and Dumb and Dumber came out in December 1994
Andy Milonakis did something like this. He’d ask people to take his picture using his camera and then he’d run away.
Louis CK selling movie tickets. Probably back doing that now.
