Are you looking at it from an unarmed martial art perspective? If so I agree, he constantly crosses his feet which is considered unorthodox at best. But, this is sword fighting so foot work best practices are most likely different.
@@SellswordArts the way I learned it the foot from where your guard is and from where you will cut is always behind and will step forawrd with the cut.
You on the other hand already have that leg infront.
Move your feet however you need to. Getting hung up on footwork is limiting. You should be able to deliver a cut from any position at any time.
@@SellswordArts I get your point, but I partly disagree, you also need to respond quickly and with the proper footwork you are more ready to do any action in generel. But I agree even with unproper footwork you should be able to do stuff.

Long hair has been associated with the warrior class since forever in almost all cultures. Long hair being "lady like" is a creation of the last hundred or so years.
