  • Puma's Nitro Forever Run has to be one of the best support/stability shoes there simply is. The reason is simple... the cushioning it offers is rare for a stability shoe.
    In this review, I share why you must consider this shoe even if you ordinarily wear neutral gait shoes.

    100% agree with the Puma Grip. The Best Outsole there is... by far. 99% of the running shoe reviewers will totally agree with you. Base from my experience with the deviate nitro 2, won't trade it for any outsole in the market... not even the continental from adidas

      They have nailed the grip and made it their signature move.

    Like these for easy runs and the gentle stability and love walking in them as the comfort and grip is so good. I also use the Deviate Nitro 2’s for sessions I might want to pick up the pace in. Puma is my brand of choice now and I have LOTS of different shoes

    I picked these up on sale recently over here in the states, and I am 100 percent satisfied. so satisfied, I would have paid full price.. which I rarely do ( I just bought triumph 20s, this week).. great shoe, that takes care of your foot.. great overview

      How do they compare with Triumph 20?

    Hi Aubrey. Fantastic review and presentation thank you.
    Ok so I had some issues with my forever runs that in the end made me decide to sell them on after around 50 miles.
    1. The fit. I found there to be too much material around the heel collar which led to bunching and gaps also the shoe felt ‘big’ in the forefoot but if I’d gone half size down it would of been too short.
    2. I don’t normally run in stability shoes ( the triumph is my go to) but because this is marketed as ‘mild’ stability I was intrigued however I experienced some minor discomfort on the inside of my knees with these which I don’t have in my other shoes.
    3. By the end of a long run they felt heavy and yet they’re a similar weight to my triumph 20 which feel the same at the end of the run as they do at the beginning.
    4. My Puma Deviate Nitro 2’s are a 100% better looking and better performing shoe all round.
    Hope that all makes sense?
    Ian 🇬🇧

    Heel tabs used to be just for looks until I got the Gel-Nimbus 25 and the React X Infinity RN 4 ! Using these tabs makes putting the shoes on quickly so easy with this gadget. I almost got this ForeverRun but ended up getting the Asics GT 2000 12 since I wanted to try a GT 2000 in years ... I will keep an eye at the Puma site on the Black Friday for this ForeverRun !

      Absolutely great shoes for long distances if speed or pace is not the main priority. There will be much more suitable shoes for that

    Color saturation is toned down in this video (or the white balance is off, or the lighting is low), which makes this colorway look much better than in the flesh. I wish it looked like this in reality, but it is actually a very intense blue, which in combination with the plastic shiny heel thingy, makes it all a bit garrish.

      Fully agreed, messed up the filming profile. Fully agreed so can’t argue with you there. Still learning

    Bro how's this compared to saucony triumph 21??? Both falls into the same categories - max cushion.

    • @AubreyRunning
      @AubreyRunning  8 месяцев назад +3

      The difference I’d say is that this shoe is a stability shoe. Ideally suited to people who over probate. That’s the main difference. If you’re a neutral runner though, I’d recommend the triumph

    how's this compared to new balance more v4?!

    • @AubreyRunning
      @AubreyRunning  7 месяцев назад

      They are subtly different in terms of gait. This is a support shoes and the more V4 is a neutral shoe. In terms of comfort I’d say NB wins but as an all round versatile shoe then this one takes it

    • @RajivHD
      @RajivHD 7 месяцев назад

      @@AubreyRunning thank you so much, my reference of comfort is the velocity nitro 2 (the best shoe i ever have), but I'm a heavy guy and a look for a shoe the most comfortable possible just for walk around and stand up with comfortable, in that case the more v4 apparently it`s the best shoe, do you think i have other options, maybe nimbus or invincible?

    I think your wrong about where the two types of foam are. There’s a firmer foam on the outside and a core of soft nitro foam.

    • @AubreyRunning
      @AubreyRunning  8 месяцев назад +5

      I’m under the impression that that’s what I said that the softer foam is closer to your foot with the firmer one on the outside. If not, it’s what I meant

    I hate the Puma ForeverRun Nitro so much! I saw some good reviews of it, and the price was great, so I bought it. It's clownish--so wide in the base, and mushy as mashed potatoes. Obviously they made the base so ridiculously wide to try to add stability for the big stack of mushy foam, but it's heavier because of it. Worst shoe I ever bought, and I've been running for 46 years. Just disgusting. I even hate it for just walking around because it's clownishly wide and it feels like walking in deep sand. At least it was on a good sale.

    • @AubreyRunning

    Similar to Invincible Run 3 , ASICS Nimbus 25, NB More V4, when those shoes are totally different from each other! Totally disagree. Be careful with advice here…
