Ha ha, good old Walter! I knew him in the 1980s in California. I used to think "what is a guy this good doing playing the same places I'm playing?" My drummer and I once tried to get him in our band playing the radio rock hits of the day. He kindly told us "thanks, fellas, but I think I'll stick with the blues thing." Good choice, Walter! Saw him last year, headlining the blues festival in Hagerstown MD, he's kicking more ass than ever! Keep up the good work bro!
I seen this show it was smoking hot! I got to meet him after the show ,got his autograph, then he pull his set list out of his pocket, signed it and gave it to me
Walter Trout in the US is probably the most under rated guitarist in history. Magic comes out of that guitar when Walter is playing. Wanted to see him on pier 54 but it was a rain out!
R Y Nutz? Apparently U've never seen him live nor listened to how his Peers speak in reverence about him. Rooted in the Legendary Canned Heat and John Mayall, he is the most prolific Rock-Blues Master of certainly his or right up there with any generation..Not Flashy, just kick-ass delivery over a career that many would envy and clearly, still has his Cops intanct...With all due respect to Mr. Beck, Walter has never carried the baggage and continues to keep his Family together....Often imitated...Never Duplicated
This is my neck of the woods here. I'm only about 20-30 minutes away from Waterfront Park. I love this guy. Does anyone know if the band is still hanging around the Portland area? Would love to go check out his show.
an anyone tell me where to got those guitar straps like Walter's, I went to see him a couple of years back and thought I'd like to try them out (and no it's not two sepparate straps)? Thanks in advance.
Yeah agreed donate blood! because you never know him you may need it yourself. Also Walter's liver transplant looks to be a success and he seems to be on the road to a healthy recovery!

I think its called the "dare guitar strap" after the guy who designed it. Planet waves sold them i think
no gimmics , direct jam like hendrix.
Walter is signalling the band to go to the V (5) chord. Its nerdy musician lingo. Walter rocks!!!
