Great episode ! , my grandparents used to live in a house in Postling Wood , spent many a summer and very snowy Xmas back in the 80s ( colder then ! :) with family in the fields we used to call the Dip ! Just before u get in to postling village , that steep ridge line part, an old army range , found many a mortar round their etc, trainibg area for dday :) . Only recently I found out its on the North downs way ! . Brings back some great memories , cheers 🍻 👍🙂
hi tom it's been awhile as not been too well . I loved this section of the walk the views were absolutely stunning and yes we need to see more more of your mum's cakes the cider looked interesting looking forward to part 11 stay safe and will see you on the next one
Been waiting on this one. I grew up in this area... stunning views. Love your cinematic camera work, means you must walk longer to retrieve the camera each time.
Thanks Tom. Wow what a blast from the past, you even showed my old 3rd year room overlooking Wye church. The countryside is looking wonderful as ever (shame about the college buildings). Looking forward to the next video.
Lol Tom...I see from the comments that your Mum’s cakes have a big following 😁 Absolutely more cakes!! I like Luke’s flat cap, as long as it meets with his Nan’s approval ...I watched his trip to York Minster, where he was daft enough to leave her sat on her own for an hour while he and his Mum flitted about the Minster walls. She doesn’t take prisoners! 😁😉 Elderflower cider sounds nice, but don’t think I fancy the salted caramel one 🤔
Great video, Tom (as always!). I was wondering, do you plan your trips with the weather in mind? I mean, walking in pouring rain is bad, but with filming as well it would be not fun. Just wondered. Also, you need a plastic box + lid for mums lovely cakes to do them justice.
Sorry Tom wrote comment 5 seconds before I heard your mate say it then ther answer to it . Oh well she already sounds more entertaining than most tv bakers
Maybe you could do a episode featuring your old dot making her cakes , or maybe show her how to make you tube videos and start a channel I’m sure people would watch . Dot indoors lol
Enjoyed watching this. Lovely to see you walking down traffic-less country lanes in the sunshine. Thanks for sharing😀
