Hi Marq, I completed the NDW yesterday, taking 9 days from Farnham starting last week. Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of it, the glorious weather was a real bonus. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching your video(s), & every night on the walk I would re-watch the relevant video pertaining to the next days' walk & found them to be most beneficial; so many thanks for posting such entertaining - & useful - videos. Very best wishes.

I shall have to watch this in sections but what struck me as soon as you left the road in Farnham and reached countryside was just how uniquely identifyable English pathways are. They have a specific character. There is nothing like that in Croatia. Perhaps if we had chalk instead of limestone karst there might be a vague similarity, but sadly, no. I so enjoyed those Spring, sunny days especially now when it gets dark so early. This walk was a great project. I did the Pilgrims' Way in 1991 and walked on much of the NDW. Thanks

As you say Andrew, we are lucky in the UK to have a unique Countryside.
