That’s because this is a double buffering thing. Every frame on your computer, a buffer is swapped out, and your computer is alternating between 2 images to draw your screen on. If I’m correct here, this video is 60 fps. If you have a 60 hertz monitor and try to play the video in 2x, it’s going to have to skip every other frame to keep up. (60 hertz can’t display a 120 fps video, but if you skip every other frame it becomes 60 fps and that works) Skipping every other frame means you only get to see one of the buffers I mentioned before. So half of the ghosted windows, the ones that were drawn on the other buffer, won’t be visible.

@@Caprisk_official that is irrelevant to the how it works, the reason windows xp made the tabs flow like that was because of how the window manager worked, and it was a feature, windows xp was also extremely stable, hell, more stable than windows 10/11

turn off steam overlay, or any other overlays
Go into settings then into the accessibility settings and where it says window movement turn that to simulate and see if that helps your frames
30fps is still smooth enough to work fine
