I STARTED TEARING UP DURING THIS BOSS FIGHT IT WAS *SO* AWESOME It’s amazing how much you can feel for a character who sounded much like the politician from before. Every line of dialogue got me so invested in Lucky as a character.
This stage was the best audiovisual experience I had during this whole year, period. The team really went far and beyond on this stage not only with the song but with details like at the start of the stage the window moving clockwise to show the pass of time or Lucky going from the "player" sprite to the "patient" sprite to show that he finally accepted his situation and many others I probably missed. I can't personally thank you people enough for this update, wish I could buy this game twice on the same steam account, but buying it for my friends shall do the trick I hope.
This game won every awards in my heart. Hardest rhythm game ever, most visually stunning VFX ever, most creative gameplay ever, best out-of-bounds experience ever, best original soundtrack ever, etc.. I wouldn't be surprised if this game won every Steam awards, or every awards at "The Game Awards". This is a criminally underrated game- nono. Masterpiece. That I've ever seen in the gaming community.

From my experience with SFML (This game was on Unity so might have been easier), the thing with window stretching and moving wouldn't be hard. Maybe just a bit tedious with having to move the camera in a way that it would seamlessly stretch the window, but not necessarily hard. Essentially, in SFML terms, it's just changing the window size, window position, the view (camera) size and view position to create both stretching and moving. Though, really, does it matter whether it was hard or not? It was used in the most creative way ever, to make some of the best effects I've seen in a videogame, and that entire thing makes this game so unique compared to others

Lemme tell ya, I yelled "*WHAT?!*" When the screen started to stretch out! I thought you guys had already done all you could with the window, but naaaaaahh!!! Helps that this level and song is peak!!! The hype in the final stretch is unmatched in Rhythm games!!!
2AM. Sitting in my room, playing this game on the dawn of my birthday, struggling with the stage and yet I finally make it through to hear the bit at 4:52 kick in. I felt the lyrics sink their way into me and wash over, the resonance hitting me like a truck and driving such a sense of inspiration into me. This game truly is something to behold, man.

This song is really amazing. Sometimes it's energetic, while something could be emotional, something could be rough and scared but you know you need to be stable and calm. (especially with the first piano part in the first cutscene that is pretty emotional [I really love that part]). Felt like watching a movie overall. Really great song. Probably one of the most memorable level then, in terms of story and chart, plus emotion and music, and it's even powerful when you are involved in it instead of watching. Great job on this song and the levels.

This was a treat to experience with the window stretching. It really felt like an evolution to All the Times and I was loving it. Of course the song itself is great too. I ended up not skipping the last cutscene a few times while going for perfect so I can hear all of the lyrics at 4:53 in full. The way the music swells with it gets me pumped. Thank you 7th Beat Games for your hard work. It definitely paid off and was worth the wait :V

I honestly cried at this song. All the effects, the mechanics, the music, the backstory ... Everything falls into place. It is so well done. And the game is still not finished yet. I cant wait until the other acts are revealed

My first time on Rhythm Doctor's boss stages will be unforgettable, and are and will remain one of my most memorable video game experiences. My heart was pounding so hard while playing this game that I ended up giving the game over several times. It's very rare to feel out of breath while playing a game. The directing of this game is superb.
Wonderful music, and probably my new favorite level!! When window started stretching a bit (2:00), I was like "huh, isn't it streching", and when it became freaking square, and then started to goo all over the place... maaan, I smiled sooooo much at this part :DD It was so wonderful to experience!! Also, is it just me, or is the gimmick at 1:20 and 5:22 (when you hit at all the beats, not just offbeats) sooo satisfying to hit? Haha
Please keep working. This is one of my favorite rhythm games next to Rhy,thm Heaven. The music and levels are beautiful. Your team deserves everything.

This is my favorite level in video games. I've been at it for thirteen years now, and even among Hi-Fi RUSH, HITMAN, or anything Valve has created, this was the best individual level in any game I've ever played. But seriously - you said it was a challenge to live up to 2-X's reputation, so how are you going to top this? I take it back. I don't want to know the answer. I'm just excited for the finale.

ok the part with the error sound isnt in this because its apparently like really cool in that it plays the appropriate error sound effect for your os. like it plays the windows one on windows and the mac one on mac. but i can only find videos of it on windows though. so obviously it wouldnt pick one in the ost version. also apparently it's just sound files in the game, not actually playing the error sound off your computer, which makes sense because that'd probably be hell to port and probably be hinging on security problems and probably get the game flagged as billion viruses. idk what the point of this comment really was its just a cool thing
the visuals in this game and the window manipulation are all so encapsulating and good, the music pairs excellently with all of it, very amazing game!!
this level and song, as well as lucky's general story, really spoke to me as someone whose physical disability recently got to the point where i can't really function normally anymore. his fans not understanding really spoke to the outside perspectives people have when a disability invisible, and him accepting that things will be different, not worse but different, and finding something new to fulfill himself in coaching is really inspirational and gives me a lot of hope and determination to find good in a life that has changed irreparably and accept that i have new limitations

This level exceeded my expectations, I thought it was only windowdance just like All The Times but when the window resized, I literally cried. Best game ever

I honestly cried at this song. All the effects, the mechanics, the music, the backstory ... Everything falls into place. It is so well done. And the game is still not finished yet. I cant wait until the other acts are revealed

My heart was pounding so hard while playing this game that I ended up giving the game over several times. It's very rare to feel out of breath while playing a game. The directing of this game is superb.
Wonderful music, and probably my new favorite level!! When window started stretching a bit (2:00), I was like "huh, isn't it streching", and when it became freaking square, and then started to goo all over the place... maaan, I smiled sooooo much at this part :DD It was so wonderful to experience!!
Also, is it just me, or is the gimmick at 1:20 and 5:22 (when you hit at all the beats, not just offbeats) sooo satisfying to hit? Haha

This is my favorite level in video games. I've been at it for thirteen years now, and even among Hi-Fi RUSH, HITMAN, or anything Valve has created, this was the best individual level in any game I've ever played.

When the game tells you to disable your steam overlay you know things are about to get real
this music is just peak act 5, and that's surprising because act 5 is awesome
ok the part with the error sound isnt in this because its apparently like really cool in that it plays the appropriate error sound effect for your os. like it plays the windows one on windows and the mac one on mac. but i can only find videos of it on windows though. so obviously it wouldnt pick one in the ost version. also apparently it's just sound files in the game, not actually playing the error sound off your computer, which makes sense because that'd probably be hell to port and probably be hinging on security problems and probably get the game flagged as billion viruses. idk what the point of this comment really was its just a cool thing
the visuals in this game and the window manipulation are all so encapsulating and good, the music pairs excellently with all of it, very amazing game!!

this level and song, as well as lucky's general story, really spoke to me as someone whose physical disability recently got to the point where i can't really function normally anymore. his fans not understanding really spoke to the outside perspectives people have when a disability invisible, and him accepting that things will be different, not worse but different, and finding something new to fulfill himself in coaching is really inspirational and gives me a lot of hope and determination to find good in a life that has changed irreparably and accept that i have new limitations
Such an amazing way to end this latest act. I'm so excited for the next one! Congratulations to everyone in the 7beats team and others who have shared their talents, and thank you so much for all that you do!
