Come on by and watch me slowly lose my sanity as I attempt to play a long-forgotten archetype in Legends of Runeterra: the Maokai Piltover & Zaun mill deck on ladder.
Even though this footage was recorded on 3.18 and 3.19 provided some nerfs to the matchups I faced, I think that so little changed with the nerfs that this video is still valid.
And yes, SantaTCG, a top player from Canada, looked at this list and said that this was an "insane person" deck.

also, I agree that RNG in a skill-based card game is shitty. (RNG as in "oh, I neglected to deckbuild any concrete advantage, but look at the cool card I magically get to have!", not "wow, this shuffled up like shit.")

Heck yeah; the best thing about this deck is that it defies the regular rules of LoR, so I think opponents don't know how to handle it until we slowly grind out the win :)

Lulu/Zed meta back in the day was the darkest timeline, but with Vayne it's arguably worse.

@@Chickensea10 Aw man, I built a deck that was centred around the idea of putting Bard back in his "rightful region of Targon" that featured Esmus with the Darkin Lodestone. Very fun deck. Now that Seraphine has been nerfed, I might actually test it out fully on ladder.
