You may wish to check the vehicle's gearbox. Digging the vehicle scrape puts strain on a real world vehicle transmission, so I guess ideally it should be a steel drive train (gearbox, sprockets, track, etc.).

It comes with Heng Long steel gearboxes as standard

      @@PieAndChips And drive sprockets?
I'd suggest the full drive train needs to be steel.

@@whya2ndaccount The rest is some sort of pot alloy.
Steel would be far too heavy and expensive for a model in this scale.
Kenny Kong produced stainless steel track for some of the Tamiya tanks and those were £200 a set and that was 10 or so years ago.
I suspect that the blade mechanism would break before anything else did, but as it's more of a curio than intended to perform scale AVRE tasks or make hull down positions i think that's okay.

@@PieAndChips Agreed. I suspect I'm trying to transplant my real world experience as opposed to accepting that its "just a model" (with apologies to Patsy and the "Holy Grail").

I have received my kit, so I can give some insight.
The rear fuel tank is a push fit into holes already molded into the rear of the lower hull.
A paper template is included with the kit which give you the spacing to drill two holes, one per side, so that you can hold it in place with two screws.
The upper hull is a good enough fit so I have dispensed with the original screws and simply glued the fuel tank to the rear of the lower hull.
