merciless difficulty is the easiest difficulty ingame atm, enemies are tougher, but you do triple damage with weakness breaks and crits, so you basically can 1 shot half of the enemies ingame. Technically yes, just that one of them is for a single target while the other is multi-target
Just like Garu and Magaru, both deal the same damage.
Brave blade has a slightly higher damage and crit chance than vorpal blade, which makes it better if you want to maximize your damage on one enemy.
