Whitesnake's Michael Devin shows off all of his bass gear!
Who should we film with next?
Jered Threatin pls
Jason Newsted.
Paul McCartney:)
Michael is a very good bassist. I saw him with Whitesnake a few years ago. Great video
+1 for pronouncing Rickenbacker correctly!
:)
Cool rundown. Although it's disappointing to click on the thumbnail because of the Rick bass and find out his actual show basses are EB-3s.
Pretty confused. The bass in the thumbnail is showed and talked about in the video. What's the issue?
@@digitaltourbus Not an "issue"...just sort of a bummer that the bass that attracted me to the video turned out to be one that's not even used (except as a #3 backup) in shows.
@@Thompsongs Oh okay, I get it.
@@digitaltourbus but, still a fun rundown video.
Awesome... He's a great guy in the first place...
Definitely a great guy!
Amazing!! Soon Reb?? Michele!? :)
I wish! Just Joel and Michael this time around. Reb has something else going on, so he wasn't available. :(
osito cariñoso de Whitesnake
I've got the same ampeg amp. Do i keep it or sell it
Fuck it
Whitesnake?
Not sure what your question is. This is a video with Whitesnake's bass player.
I used to have the same Walnut Gibson EB-3L Bass. Some POS asshole motherfucker picked it up in the studio, dropped it and broke the headstock. I went to a master luthier in L.A who said it can’t be fixed, so i sold it off for parts. Now Devin says broken headstock as most of these do... my heart just sank and I got sick to my stomach. Bought the bass for $1,200 in 2004. Can’t find one for less than 4k now. Only thing that makes me feel better is that at the end of the day i still have a ‘62 P Bass
😕
My basses are also females :o)
I have male ànd female basses. Hoping they will make babies when I'm not looking. 😉
chino basico para mi nontendo
great live sound and a great band!
Definitely!
NO BADASS RICKENBACKER SHOULD LOOK LIKE THAT YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!
Looks more badass that’s it’s been through a lot. Road worn 🔥.
@@Farewelltokingz ngl i think i was stoned when i saw this video, can’t help but say that ricks have a special place in my heart so it hurts to see one so beat up but yeah i think was high watching this cause i can’t really remember it lol, and road wear can look good but ricks i like them clean just saying
I don't know why he is using so many effects pedal infact he dont use in any of the songs im a pro bass player too hv seeing his gig nd heard all the albums aswell none of those Effects pedals he had use only octave pedal and sometime delay he use few only few rarely he use delay and those whammy pedal bass whammy he doesn't use infact he doesn't get chance to play solos in and after shows aswell so he dont get chance to use other pedals so that means those bunch of huge train setup pedals is just for showoff only poor bassist just play in or use those so called train setup effects pedals inside ur house only dude poor bassist feel bad for u nd those midi pedals feel bad for that aswell coz it wont get chance to show that midi bass effect pedal his sound feel bad for those pedals aswell just hanging around lying down in the stage for nothing ...........nice showoff dude..fell pitty for u man...
there’s videos on here of his bass features, and i’m sure if he knows he’s not gonna use the pedals, he won’t take them
what size and type string do you use?
I could've swore he said it in the video. Did he leave out that detail?
ok...got it 45-105! thx
