well for me its all the bad experiences ive had over the last 3 yrs downtown, i commute to Wa for Beaverton and have seen the city decay its infrastructure WAY more boarded up mom and pop shops ,for some reason i keep trying to give it the benefit of doubt and keep getting let down, the city really took a bad turn after the summer of riots just never been the same..still dig your guys channel
This is the most PDX comment ever. Whitest city in the country, yet somehow feels the need to make everything about race. Didn't see a single black dude during the Saint Floyd riots a few years back. Never change Portland... never change.
Downtown it's extremely dangerous in downtown you could probably look at the crime statistic map to figure out where you wouldn't want to go in Portland you could also probably look up The s x offender registry that would tell you that you probably don't want to have your kids go to this park or that Park so I think that would be helpful in deciding not to go to this part of Portland OR that part of Portland pretty sure crime statistics are available
Isn't it nice we didn't rank that high in places for mental illness I think that we should send this to Ted wheeler and tell him he should put this on all the City work vehicles Portland not even the top 10 most mentally ill cities in America that's better than "Portland the city that works"

I visited Portland a year ago for the first time. It's beautiful! There are problems especially in the downtown, but it has so much potential. I would build more housing in the downtown to bring people in.

I live 30 minutes west of Portland. The only reason I go there is to get to the other side. Used to be a cool town now its a hell hole.
