More people need to see this. I’m on my third motor and did not know that gesture control worked with heading hold or spot lock. It’s a bit embarrassing, but I just want a powerful unit that is tournament reliable. Once my unit works well for more than 3 months, I’ll figure all of the intricacies of it. Great video

When in manual more and steering Left and Right with the arrows on the remote, i experience heavy lag. In my Ulterra it was absolutely instant. When trying to change direction with the Heading in use, the lag is devastating. I press and hold and nothing happens for 5 seconds. I keep holding and it starts moving. Then i lift my finger, but now the motor oversteers. It is absolutely impossible to steer with this remote using the heading feature. I may try these gestures because its impossible to do this with the arrows of the remote. Please fix this with software update. Make it feel like MinnKota!

Agree. I was trying to control my boat yesterday and looked like a mad drunk driving the boat

What do you use the 4 memory keys for. Does anyone have a useful idea?

The gesture feature could be making some of these spot lock problems occur.

Oh, the video is a bit misleading. You say, “you must first calibrate the compass in the remote control “. Your next sentence is, the “propeller must be engaged”. Leading me to believe that during calibration, the prop must be engaged. You actually are just continuing with the explanation of using the remote.
I’m just too literal. It’s not a video on “calibrating”, but rather, “using the remote”. I’m not always difficult.
