- Julie is back! Unfortunately, this one didn't get very far. Julie didn't want to make up a social security number on the off chance that it was a real number, so this scammer got angry real quick!
Report scams like this to our BBB Scam Tracker here: www.bbb.org/scamtracker/us
Be on the lookout for a new longer video soon! As always, leave any numbers you would like us to call.
You know its not the Federal govt when you get right thru. Last time I called the IRS I was on hold for well over an hour.
How true!
Much like anything else. Scammers are so greedy they don't realise this.
They (the IRS) don't put you on "hold"... they put you on "ignore".
Best advice EVER
Wow. Not even comcast is that bad.
Fun Fact: IRS doesn't call, so don't try it scammers.
Neither does the Social Security Administration as in this case.
Correct. A couple of my family members work with certain departments of the government. They always reach out via mail. And, it's usually a local number for SSA.
I think in their case, "IRS" stands for "I'M REALLY STUPID"
They don't call??!! They don't even answer their phones after being on hold for hours.
Landline gets at least 3 of this particular scam per day. The guy is a hair-trigger now. Only takes one instance of going off-script before he starts doing his middle school insults.
I love seeing how long I can keep these clowns on the phone. Act confused, looking for the information, giving phony bank names and numbers. My favorite was when they asked how much money I had in the bank and I told them almost a million dollars. When he asked how I had so much money I said I was very frugal in my spending and I only ate dog food. Then I barked at him till he hung up.
Sorta the same here. Except I say I sell drugs or I’m a prostitute.
Exactly. Even leave the phone off the hook when the call u to hold up their line.
Tell them to hold on while you answer the door bell. Then let them die waiting!!!!!!
Yepper that's one of my favorites and then I tell him which car the Porsche or the Mercedes-Benz that gets them drooling
I once told one I had a trust fund, kept him going for three hours
It might have been more successful if the Social Security rep hadn't been from a small village outside New Deli.
@Kit Levey
The name of the city is spelt "New Delhi"
LOL....right
I much preferred the old deli. The sandwiches were much more generous.

Thank you miss Julie for continuing to protect us from scammers, you're the best!
Thanks for your continued support!

When a guy who sounds like Hadji from Johnny Quest wants to discuss my social security info or taxes, he will immediately regret calling me. In fact, they block my calls.
Hadji! LMFAO!!
I loved Johnny quest show
@@randyposs6281 the best!
Then you had it easy! Most scammers and spammers or organizations have hundreds if not thousands of numbers and you can block a hundred and you will still get daily spam calls! This country can not even protect it's people from scammers and spammers! The US can not and will not defend it's self from the fascist from within because so many in the congress are treason, fascism supporters, so they can not even be prosecuted and even redirecting the investigtion of the attempted fascist coup to overthrow the US government for treasonous, dictator wannabe Psycho Don. They should all be hung for aiding and abetting sedition and treason against this country!

Impressive, love her attitude. Her expressions are so impish!
Quite true, very true, exceedingly true and correct.
She's probably done this a few times before. She did a great job.
She's cute, too
She is too polite!
I've learned that if you say things like "What?" or "Can you say that again" or "I'm sorry, I don't understand" enough....they'll get really angry, curse at you and hang up. It's fun!
WHAT? Can you repeat that? Hello are you there? Can you hear me? What? Huh? Hello? Hello? AWWW PLOOBADOOF they hung up. Again.
I feel sooo rejected.
It cracks me up how these guys all have American names.
What? Like Ogaleesha (Sioux)
, Ayawamat (Hopi), Wahkoowah (Sioux), Chunta (Hopi), Soyala (Hopi), Wanahton (Sioux), Otoahhastis (Cheyenne), Achak (Algonquin) - or do you mean English names?
@@JohnScribbler he means JOHN lolol. Your the white guy running around saying how bad whites are. GTFO. Literally ancient history and you benefited. You think you'd have a thousand dollar phone and free time to watch videos and comment if squanto was in charge.
Crazy when you consider lot of companies do have call centres in Indian that they use Anglosaxon names to try and gain our confidence then speak in an Indian accent.
@@skritscrato.8930 Calm down tough guy.
Steve Watson....foe those who got the reference.
This scam-walla actually spoke something almost recognizable as colloquial American English. I usually ask them what SS facility they're calling from, and when told will say something like: "Oh, Miami! GREAT skiing there! Do you like to ski?" As most couldn't find Miami or any other part of the US on a map, the response is sometimes amusing.
I also have fun at the expense of the scammers, if the call is long they end up cussing me out.
I usually ask them for their badge number and then ask for it backwards. Pro- tip if you want to catch someone in a lie ask them to give back information backwards.
@@matthewkagan6921 Brilliant!
I usually ask what the local time is in whatever city they claim they are "calling" from. Usually that gets a quick hang up being that, just like the weather, they have no idea where the city is that they claim they are "calling" from and consequently couldn't tell you what the actual local time would be at the time you are conversating with them.
@@frankgrimesification A scammer once claimed they were calling from Long Island City, California. I knew they were full of shit.
Another one claimed to be at a Social Security office in Brooksville, Florida, and they don't have an office there.
IM SO SICK OF ALL THE SPAM ON MY PHONE CALLING TEXTING MY PHONE ALL DAY EVERY DAY I WANT A LAWYER TO STOP THIS CRAP
thank you so much "Sara Smith" for the work you do in taking the fight back to these criminals
Department of Social Security Administration? No such agency exists.
@ Derrick Purdy - Yup, scammers with a poor command of the English language, especially proper wording of government agencies, give themselves away. They try to pretend they’re in America with a name like Robert. I would love for one of these frauds to call me so I could mess with them by wasting their time with questions about where they’re located, what the weather’s like there, ask them about sports teams, anything to make THEM sick if talking to me.
I’ve got the Warranty Dept, Social Security Admn and Amazon Fraud Dept after me. They’re not as frequent as before but I still look forward to the calls and wasting their time. I love it when they get angry, start cursing me out and then hang up.
I'll pay them with my aol Nigerian lottery winnings..
You should learn a few "choice" words in Hindi to fire back at them.
Don't forget the Student Loan Relief calls.
thank you for this message. We need to get it out to the elderly population as quickly as possible. My mom overheard my dad on the phone about to give it out, and she had to dash in and yank the phone cord. Surprised, he asked why - he was just giving it to "xxx Investment Company". Mom, astonished at his trusting naiveite, told him there's no way to know that that really IS "xxx Investment Company" that called him. He said she was too suspicious of things (read streetwise). She believed he was countryboy naive.
Older people are prone to lose their critical thinking and sometimes become childlike and trusting.

I put them on hold, fake a stop to buy the gift cards to "pay for my fee" and sometimes use up to an hour of their time.
For some reason, the call always drops when I start giving them the card number!
That's what Kitboga does but he takes up 5 to 10 hours of their time and then condenses it into an hour long video.

I wonder sometimes if the gov is behind this so that they can steal and let the scammer hold the bag. I know this has been going on for 30 years now, and all your banks were stealing from the accounts of your lower income persons during the 80s and the 90s. These banks didnt steal from the middle income people because they knew they could afford a lawyer. I bought a whistle claimed to be the world's loudest, and when I get one of these on the line, I blow into the phone as hard as I can. Maybe bust a few eardrums.

The last one that called was astonished that the last three agents that came to arrest me mysteriously disappeared.
If voters called their congressman/woman every time we got one of these calls maybe they'd take some action.

Why? Their staffers will just ignore the calls for them like they ignore every other call.

The FTC & Congress has already made it illegal for Cell Phone Service Providers to let these calls through to their customers. Since that happened the amount of scam calls I recieve has dropped 75%. And even telemarketer calls have dropped off.

Yep, as soon as you hear that Habib voice you can be 99% sure they're out to scam you.
Sad but true
Some might find it offensive to bring up the fact that so many of the scam callers have Indian accents, but it’s the truth. That certainly does not mean that all Indians are untrustworthy. It just goes to show that the scammers are cowards who work at a distance.
The trouble is all the calls these days are routed thru foreign countries - even the legit ones.
I find your videos very interesting we have a similar problem here in the uk great job thanks. Chris from England.
She should've said why can't you tell me my SS #? Do you think I'm a scammer?
As an Indian, we are very very sorry for this and it has embarrassed us soo much since when I came to know about this after coming to America and Australia. This is clearly coming from somewhere from North India (call centre).. If US Government says 1 word about it to Indian Government then they would find them within 1 day and shut them down, it don't know why USA and others never notified officially to the Main Authorities!?!?!
I just thank them for calling and tell them I'm turning the phone number over to our local police. They immediately hang up. I don't get these calls anymore.
They don't care if you tell the local police, because they're not in the US. They hang up because you've told them you're not worth their time.
I sometimes keep them on the line for 10 minutes with small friendly talk of a senile sort and then when they get frustrated I ask them in a straight voice if they could hold on just another minute or two because I’ve almost completed tracking their location and will have a local swat team at their door in a few minutes. The phone goes dead within a microsecond, lol.
a swat team for phone scammers? right
@@mickeymousey1239: Most if not all of these scams come out of India, often in and around New Delhi and they usually consist of groups of 30 or more persons in phone rooms calling constantly to find victims. I've spent over 40 years in IT, and have retired and sold my businesses. Having started another business, I enjoy hearing from scammers and have spent time distracting them and leading them astray. I enjoy getting them so flustered that they start swearing at me and telling me they're "doing" my mother - my mother is 92, so I ask them how hard-up they have to be to enjoy "doing it" with a 92 year old woman. They really thing they're going to get me angry, but I enjoy having them try. Most are in India & Pakistan, have a third-grade education, and pointing out that their culture is all thieves gets them more and more angry until THEY hang up on me.

I call back these numbers and I start telemarketing and scamming them. It's super fun. I start asking them these exact same questions before they get the chance to.
I heard of this scam where a company pretends to be a community service organization, but actually runs a for-profit business that allows companies to pay to remove negative reviews, effectively blackmailing the companies that refuse to fork out.
Can't for the life of me remember what it was called, though.
