But my brother said he knew at that moment he could lie and have to keep lying for the rest of their relationship and never force his girlfriend to face her insecurities so they could deal with them together, or he could end this battle here and now by being honest and let her come face to face with insecurity so she can become a stronger, more confident person. He chose the latter.
