Not to mention, acting insecure is the easiest way to scare off high-quality people who would have never cheated on you. No one wants to feel like they're being interrogated or doubted when they never considered cheating. They'll grow tired of needing to baby you and your constant insecurities and eventually leave you for someone who's more secure and less exhausting.
