I recently bought the Pentel pocket brush pen (first one) with no brush pen experience and found it really easy to pick up. It's not like water color where there's like 5 techniques to think of with every stroke or charcoal where you have to pay attention to the pressure and how/where to blend. Brush pens are the most relaxing medium in my opinion, it's just one tone and nonstop flow of ink.
I'm not an artist, but when I write, I'm really picky with my pens. Is it only me, or I can only write/draw properly when the pen/pencil is smooth and when the ink is like gel?
+JetPens PenPal haha no not because of smearing. Because it's very difficult to write beautiful authentic looking Chinese characters with a brush pen if you are left handed

i continuously use the Zebra Disposable Brush pen- super fine. i've been using it since i started and i absolutely love it, i recommend it to any starter line artists

I bought the Fudenosuke brush pen and it’s so easy to use, despite me being new to brush lettering and calligraphy. This is the beginning of an addiction...I can tell. ;)
Here's a suggestion, one of my favorite brush pen is the Shachihata Artline Blox Brush Pen. It would be amazing if you guys could consider carrying it, or just research it, I would really appreciate it!

I literally use this old black brush pen I bought in France (which also included other colors that have now dried) and the tip is felt and kinda ruined also I refill it with cheap ink but hey I love that pen
What would have made this better would be a mechanical arm that would slowly and deliberately drag the pen tips down on some paper to show the differences side by side

I use Copic Brush Pens because I need to color-in with my copic sketch markers. I really like the Tombow one among these featured in the video. Do you know if any of these go well with copic markers? A lot of the times when I try coloring, often the brush lines would smudge, and sometimes even the copic brush would smudge...
I really need the dark black springy felt medium tip sized ink flow refillable brush pen which is more suitable for me? Pls make another pvp between kokuyo or pilot mogulair mechanical pencil. Tq

I like the Pentel SES-15C and it's only 2.99. It's extremely similar to the felt tip ones at the end.

Yes, it is possible to refill the cartridge with a syringe!
We do not recommend filling the cartridge with Indian ink as it may clog the brush.
