a big shoutout to zebra blen specifically in blue ink!! the ink is vibrant and has a slight hint of purple that i've never seen in other ballpoint pens. i love using it for my exams as it increases the legibility of my handwriting
I have used or currently use many of the pens in this video. I used to have a couple mark+ highlighters and they served me well for a couple of years. I currently carry a Pentel energel and Uni jetstream as my go-to pens, and I have a pilot frixion multipen I use for my organic chemistry class which saves me a lot of time and whiteout. I recommend Jetpens to literally ALL of my friends when they ask me about my supplies or if they need new supplies.
I use a dot system on my journal where i colour code topics I write about (thanks to Megan Rhiannon for the idea) and got the Kuretake dot markers, the mild pack, they are nice and will save me a lot on sticker dots for 2024. However, the colours are indeed muted and not as vibrant so keep that in mind. The thing is that I tried good old markers for the same purpose and did not work as nicely as the round tip of this ones. Thanks for mentioning how pigmented are the Energel pens, I love them because of how fast they dry, but the pigment is just perfect too. I, unfortunately, find the bodies pretty but uncomfortable, however, they fit in the Zebra bodies and the Uniball Signo RT1 bodies and it works great for people that holds their pens too close to the tip. I have the same issue with the Frixion bodies, the ones with the cap are fantastic, very comfy, but the clicker ones are not at all - the slim version is nice… but finding refills where I live is hard and oftentimes ordering online means that the shipping is twice as expensive as the refill, which makes it not worth it.
I have multiple Clenas, I use Frixions for marking fabric, I'm gradually collecting Zig dot markers, and the first fountain pen I ever used was a Varsity (though now my everyday carry is a Metro).
I actually use the Varsity fountain pen for work because of the low emotional attachment if something was to happen to it. And it's great for signing your signature multiple times without the ink skipping.
I got a Plaisir just recently and it's the first non-Pilot fountain pen that I just *love*. I have small hands and it's a perfect size and weight, and it has worked will even with sparkly inks!
The Blen is my favorite pen to keep in my purse. It's a great writer and looks so good. Pilot Frixion pens are a HUGE favorite with me. I have different colors and styles. I love them all. It's my writing must have for studying and taking notes because it is so easy to fix mistakes while also writing so smoothly.
i used to use rhe clean color dots in my planner but i got very tired of crossing things out, so I've switched to Frixions despite having a deep dislike of erasable pens from elementary school. They really are better! not even a little gloopy.
I love this! One recent fave for planner use has been the Frixion. I had a Frixion I LOVED, bought a whole set and was disappointed. Thank you for distinguishing among the versions of Frixion! And I can’t wait to try that Plaisir.
Below are my current favorite pens: -Zebra Sarasa Clip (0.4 and 0.5 mm) -Pentel EnerGel and Hybrid Technica gel pens -Pilot Acroball (0.7 mm) -Uni Jetstream (0.5 mm.) -Uni Power Tank (0.7 mm; Smart series-without the rubber grip) -Uni-ball Signo UM-151 and 307 -Platinum Preppy (Fine nib) -Pilot Juice and Juice Up gel pens -Sakura Gelly Roll gel pens (Moonlight, Gold Shadow, Glaze, Classic, Stardust and Metallic)😅☺️📗🖊️🖋️🇵🇭
I used eight Uni Pin 0.5 pens when I took the Bar in 2007, even if we were encouraged to use fountain pens. For the longest time, I thought it was the best pen ever. I have since evolved as a human being, but fond memories remain.
Another excellent ballpoint, not as sexy as the Blen, is the Zebra X-701. An excellent less expensive alternative to the Fischer Space pen and is a click pen instead of a cap pen. That means it's ready immediately while being able to write in similar conditions to the Space Pen, underwater, upside down, etc. I used the Varsity years ago, in high-school in the late 1980s, was an excellent pen then and is now.
The Pentel Energel Clenas are my favorite gel pens. I get anxiety attacks when I can't find mine. I also love the Kuratake dot markers. I wish JetPens would sell Muji stick gel pens so I can keep them anywhere and not worry about losing them. Also, I have had bad luck with the Platinum Preppy. I've had two dry out in a couple of months. What gives?
Only one of these I've used was a Varsity. Many of these came out after anything but a fountain pen became painful for me to write with. My favourite Japanese pen is a pre 1969 (still the globe logo instead of the modern "P" Platinum used since then) Platinum. Not a clue what model. Almost no records out there. It's got the inlaid almost fingernail nib that many Japanese pocket pens still have, is an aerometric type filler, and the shape is clearly inspired by the Parker 45. It's also from when Platinum was sold under the brand name of "President." Imprinted on the cap, nib and barrel. But not the President model. Looks like an aerometric version of the P66.
Would like to try the Kuretake ZIG Clean Color Dot Markers for my journaling. Right now I enjoy my zebra sarasa mark on 0.5 pen (Believe Josh likes this pen too😌), its has been my go to pen since I got it. Refilling is a breeze from you guys at JetPens 😊
I really need to try the Uni Jetstream with the gel grip! I love the ink in the Uni Jetstreams I've gotten, but I could use a squishier grip at times. Mostly, though, I'm a fountain pen user, and the Platinum Plaisir is GREAT. I prefer a broader line, so try to get a M nib when possible (and I wish they came in B nibs!), but I really enjoy how smooth the flow is from a Plaisir (or a Preppy, for that matter). And they're pretty!
Depends on the pen! Some rollerballs are designed to be able to be filled with fountain pen ink. Most are only refillable with the specific rollerball pen refill.
The close up at the beginning shows the Zebra is very blurry, not a fine line, so it is a no. Same with the next one. Third is much better. Sarasa is better
JetPens how could you do this to us? How can you show someone writing an interesting, yummy sounding recipe and we don’t get to see what the entire recipe is? Such a cliffhanger!
i swear by my pentel energel, and I use it for studying, but my daily driver has gotta be my Hi-Tec C Coleto multipen. 3 refills (that I chose are black ink, green ink, and a Mechanical pencil). Plus its design is Izuku Midoriya from BNHA. My favorite 💚
i was in japan for a week or so in august and i saw the mark+ highlighters in multiple 7/11s!! i rlly regret not buying them cuz i thought i could buy them cheaper at actual stationary stores but i couldnt find them :( i did get a pack of ninipie highlighters BUT I WANTED THE MARK+ 😭😭
I bought the Uni Jetstream Gel Grip and I think it’s overrated. Or I got a faulty product. It skips so much when writing that I actively avoid it unless I have a longer writing session ;(
I would guess it’s faulty. I got a multi color Jetstream and while the black and red ink write beautifully, the Blue skips a lot if the paper surface isn’t ideal.
Well I live in India so I don’t get the chance to get my hands on any of these in the local stores I have to travel 20km or order it online However I use the zebra blen for my class notes and exams and it’s a breeze
I've used a Pilot Varsity that I have since refilled with fresh ink. I also have a couple of Preppy's. I would submit that the Prefounte is the next step up from the Preppy, and the Plaisir is then the next step up from the Prefounte. Yes, I have a Prefounte & a Plaisir and they are good writers.
The Pilot Varsity fountain pen may be disposable but it's made up of 41% recycled plastic, and many fountain pen enthusiasts said that its nib section can be detached to clean the fountain pen and refill it with any color of fountain pen ink.😊
How many of these pens have you tried? Let us know in the comments!
Aesthetic isn't a synonym for being attractive. It means related to beauty or style, as in "Her preferred aesthetic is Dark Academia."
None. None of them are available in my country.
Can you please try Indian stationery
`why dont you open a store in india
shipping/importing your products is too high here

The frixion multi pen is a dream for school!!!
I think a fun one to see JetPens do is stationary based on your D&D class
YES!!! That would be my dream come true
The Uni-Pin fineliners are my favourites for inking artwork, and I often end up using them for writing too
I love the Frixion pens! They write very smoothly, something that doesn’t get mentioned enough.
I've been a stationery addict since i was a kid i would watch jet pens everywhere and now im still a stationery addict 😅

You should give the non-muted or metallic ones a try! The metallic ones are really pigmented

Once you try an energel you never need to try another gel pen. They are sooo good.
I like the frixion for doing crosswords
I got a Plaisir just recently and it's the first non-Pilot fountain pen that I just *love*. I have small hands and it's a perfect size and weight, and it has worked will even with sparkly inks!

Is it me or the clean is the most smoothest out of all the pentel energel.
Uni Jetstream and Varsity are now on my shopping list 🎉
those highlighters with the marker tip are really interesting. I love my dot markers, so useful.
Pilot Varsity was great when they had a fine point. Now, they only have medium and they are more like a bold.
I love this! One recent fave for planner use has been the Frixion. I had a Frixion I LOVED, bought a whole set and was disappointed. Thank you for distinguishing among the versions of Frixion! And I can’t wait to try that Plaisir.
I LOVE Energels, especially the needle point.

I LOVE my Blen!! Next I'd like to try one of the Pentel EnerGel pens, I think. Heh ... time to add to the wishlist! 😊
those markers look really cool ❤❤
Both the Kokuyo Mark+ Dual Tone highlighter and Uni Pin Pen marker are two writing instruments I love and enjoy using. Highly recommended!
I used eight Uni Pin 0.5 pens when I took the Bar in 2007, even if we were encouraged to use fountain pens. For the longest time, I thought it was the best pen ever. I have since evolved as a human being, but fond memories remain.
I can't imagine my mom opening the freezer and asking me why my notebook is in there 😂
I love your vids! They are literally relaxing to watch.
Omg I’m first !!!! I love jet pens sooo much ! I just wish to have all these stationary love from India jet pens !❤❤❤
ikr

So many of my personal favs are on this list!
My absolute favorite out of all of these? PENTEL INFREE 🤍 but not the pen body, just the refills 😉
My favorites is the pentel energel, zebra blen and uni alpha gel Jetstream ❤
The Pentel Energel Clenas are my favorite gel pens. I get anxiety attacks when I can't find mine. I also love the Kuratake dot markers. My only complaint is that most of the ink pens were retractable. Please include stick pens. Thanks!
Kokuyo Mark + Dual Tone ❤
I have all the product mention in the video...currently the most favourite is platinum plaisir in 0.3....smooth wet nib !
Blen rattles something FIERCE when not engaged. It's like a cat toy until you click it!
I have nearly all these and the Energel is rock solid, only thing I hate about the full sized frixion pens is the rattling, so much rattling.
I'm interested on those acrylic drawers. where do you get those?
I need more backpacks and a messenger satchel videos 🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
I'm a college student btw
Would like to try the Kuretake ZIG Clean Color Dot Markers for my journaling.

I have most of these and love them!
What would happen if i used fountain pen ink in rollerball? Will it still work?
Depends on the pen! Some rollerballs are designed to be able to be filled with fountain pen ink. Most are only refillable with the specific rollerball pen refill.
I really don't know why I'm looking at this when I need to improve my own manuscript...
Anyone using Pigma Microns needs to check out the Mitsubishi Uni Pin.
pentel energel is the best and refills are way cheaper in India. around 0.3 usd , exclusive though 😊
All very nice >>>>>>> Thanks .
I like that translucent pen container on that desk. How do I get that?
Hi there! We get all our organization supplies from IKEA or The Container Store.
I'm gonna buy some of this
The close up at the beginning shows the Zebra is very blurry, not a fine line, so it is a no.
Same with the next one.
Third is much better.
Sarasa is better
I don’t understand the appeal of the faded color highlighters. It’s supposed to stand out.
JetPens how could you do this to us? How can you show someone writing an interesting, yummy sounding recipe and we don’t get to see what the entire recipe is? Such a cliffhanger!
Hi there! Videographer-san loves to cook; she's using the Garlic Dill Lentils recipe from Ministry of Curry!
@@JetPens THANK YOU! 🥰
Co-incidence i actually use the pental energel

Note: Popping your Frixion notes in the freezer will bring back all of the erased bits as well!
Pilot varsity
Well I live in India so I don’t get the chance to get my hands on any of these in the local stores I have to travel 20km or order it online
However I use the zebra blen for my class notes and exams and it’s a breeze
You need to make a video of stationary dedicated for left-hand users as well as the physically challenged.
We have some videos for left-handed users! You can search our channel for them.
The CBT mention gave me a lil jumpscare
Does anyone know how the Uni Pin Pen does on the Tomoe River Paper?
The Uni Pin Pen writes well on Tomoe River Paper! Depending on the tip size, the ink may take longer to dry.
@@JetPens Thanks so much! You guys rock!
None of these pens catched my eye
My eye catched THEM.....
fountain pens
I've used a Pilot Varsity that I have since refilled with fresh ink. I also have a couple of Preppy's. I would submit that the Prefounte is the next step up from the Preppy, and the Plaisir is then the next step up from the Prefounte. Yes, I have a Prefounte & a Plaisir and they are good writers.
What notebook is at 1:16?
Hi there! That's a Midori + Stand Notebook: www.jetpens.com/Midori-Stand-Notebooks/ct/6621?&f=b5f88865e06bcd4dfb163ff28329db3a
😊
Disposable pens should be banned.

@@user-vx3ut1fg7n That's 59% not recycled material and how many actually bother to reuse it? Smug grins won't cut it.
So as child labor
There are countries where disposable pen is most available.so I don't think it is a good idea to ban all disposable out of the blue.
But are they recyclable.
