Another interesting video. I also find hypodermic needles to be handy. They're very precise, easily refillable and cheap. The larger bore needles are usually better, and the needles are interchangeable on a standard body. They are also handy for other stuff, like glue, stain, cleaning fluid and many other less viscous fluids that are needed in small and/or hard to reach places. For very large bore needles (for things like caulk and other more viscous fluids)) you can use the BBQ flavor injection plungers. They have a funky side ejection port, but I just grind that off and shape the tip like I want it. Those tips are also interchangeable. If you don't have access to medical supply, I often see them at Tractor Supply (quite cheap) for animal use. Keep the videos coming! Doc out.
ive used frog lube for years (same bottle) but its gotten 'grain' in it now. last year picked up some breakthrough pro CLP and loved the lil needle applicator, but it leaked all out when the range bag tipped over. ive been looking for a solution that is abt the size of a pen and has a needle applicator, but wont leak. looks like youre in the same boat lol.
My goto oil for metal on metal bearings (rollers, and belt tensioner) for clothes dryers, is a drop of 0-20w 20,000 mile engine/motor oil. Not sure if hvac uses metal on metal rollers in high temp areas (300 degrees f). If you do, what oil/lube do you like to use? Thanks for the precision oiler review.
I bought one of these aluminum oilers. I am having an issue with it. It will only dispense 2-3 drops of oil and then it stops working. I then have to open the cap and close it again to get it to work. It is as if there is a vacuum being created in side the pen. The tool is solid and is not leaking. Also I am using Mineral oil in the oiler. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
I’ve tried putting Ballistol in it and it gunked up the tip. Works with thinner oils only I think. Good to see that you use Hoppes. Let me try that! Have you tried Nano-Oil?

Why are batteries attached to the bottle? And the purpose of the grip bottom?
