  • Stacy, Logan and I move broiler chickens around to get things ready for batch number 5 for the meat chicken season on the farm. Then it's off to the annual Lyons Peppermint days tractor show. Stacy and I were asked to participate in the festivals return of the annual tractor square dance after a 5-year absence. We only practiced once, three days before the event for 2.5 hours. We were thrilled with our performance and the crowd loved the return of the square dance. We also take a glimpse of the tractor show as well.
We are a small 40 acre direct-to-consumer livestock farm located in Western NY. We provide pasture raised beef, pork, chicken & eggs to our local community. We practice sustainable land practices that utilize natural methods to keep our soils/pastures healthy and our animals happy.
I am the 2nd generation to live on this piece of property after my parents purchased it in 1978. As a child we were not a working farm. But there were dairy farms surrounding us. So naturally I was hooked with farming since I saw my first tractor. As time went on, I worked for a couple of these farms and that only fueled my love of agriculture. In 2019 I was able to move back home as my parents were ready to downsize and I was ready to try my hand at farming. Stacy and logan share the same love of farming as I do. Stacy growing up on her family's dairy farm and logans exposure of farming/tractors at a very young age. Join us on this journey and see where the farm life takes us.

Yes, it is. This community is a tight knit one for sure. The farm families stick together. I'm glad they even welcome an outsider such as ourselves. 🤣In all seriousness I've known a lot of them a really long time. They all would give you the shirt off their back if you asked them to. Thanks for watching the channel.

Ya there is a lot of Farmall tractors in this area. Lyons used to have a Farmall dealer in town. Not sure when they got away from selling the farm tractors, but I know they were still the go to for the Cub Cadet line until 5 years ago or so. Stacy and I really enjoyed doing it. Can't wait till next year. Thanks for watching the channel.
