I was so pissed when I made a barb to see how much easier the game was and how much stronger the barb is

his gears still crap. Other German streamer build this a week ago and he can clear new infernol 8 with this build, kill boss pit in under 10 sec. pretty good and solid build.
@@sonkieu-tc6ty No build that isn't bugged to all hell can clear decent level pit bosses in 10 secs with how they've buffed them up (infernal 8 was equivalant to pit boss 100 according to the devs, so not much of a feat in BiS gear). It's a single build that takes the best pieces to still fall way short of the survivability and kill power of Barbs and Rogues with much lesser gear. Wee!

It just feels miserable to blast pits with a cool and fun build and then be stuck on a boss for 3 minutes so hopefully we get something next season or im just gonna make a barb
Those dumb one shot mechanics need to go too. The entire boss fight is just a cluster fluck of dodging shit.
It feels like all of D4 is centered around the 3 shout meta. If you don't run that, your build doesn't matter to devs.
Remember how everyone hyped frozen orb during S4 ptr and remember what happened next? I believe it when I see it popping off on a live server.
The build is not even that good compared to any barb lol. Yet i see them nerfing it yes because logic.
Amulet with + CM, + DB and CDR is nearly impossible to find. Currently not a single one on d4trade. You will get all ubers before that 🤣

Has the Splintering Energy aspect changed? Mine Reads " Casting Lightning spear always spawns an additional lightning spear and increases your damage with shock skills by 25% for 3 seconds" Very different from your?

Question: did the fix the bug where the elites that put up those walls despawn the spears? It made the build unplayable a few seasons back.
You mean suppression bubbles? They work as intended, that's not a bug. It's meant to suppress your skills.
Edit- nevermind, I think you mean wallers instead of suppressors.

@@MrR2thapillz Well that's great lol so much for spears then. I reported that bug and the druid boulder core aspect bug repeatedly. Neither are fixed it seems.
@Complication84 yeah... if you spawn enough some will survive but yeah... same happens if you collide with the terrain your spear goes poof 😆

Create a Shako. In Season 5 you wont have the Sparks anymore. Only in the eternal really Not the seasonal realm
looks like a great fun build. there is only 1 thing that annoys me.... again the affix is the damage dealer and NOT the skill.... same with ice spikes blizzard build.....

This looks cool but also really hard to put together.
Crackling energy should be reworked so it either lasts longer or doesn't expire at all. Minions provide a ton of offense, defense, and utility practically permanently, no reason why sorcs can't get permanent crackling energy.
you need attack speed on ur rings, and with that many UC tempers and 42% CDR you can drop orange herald youll be fine, with ice blade enchant
Druid is in my rotation for season 5. I've not played it since release, so it'll be interesting to see what's changed.
I played a Sorc with the same idea back in S2 when everyone was crazy about Lightning Ball. I played it with Flickerstep, and It's quite convenient to play in some static events, because you just stand in place and cast Sparks all the time without even aiming only to trigger the Unstable Currents, and you evade on cooldown to CDR the Ult. This makes me think the build might be quite good for the Horde event if it's worth playing at all. 100% Ult uptime.
Looks cool, hopefully it will be as smooth playig as it seemed on the PTR
Cool vid. Excited a little as long as they don't nerf it into the trash bin. Extra ideas for your build I'd include Flicker Step boots for evade purpose via teleport and Ultimate CDR. Teleport to me i've tested does not seem to hit multiple enemies every time at the training room so I've sent a bug report about it. It's kind of hit half the time or miss entirely. It's too random on teleport. 2nd might be the new staff Vox Omnium, but like you said, they will most likely make changes along the way to skills, items, and balancing the game before season launches. Hope everything turns out well for the season and for your builds.

Just fyi. With Esu boots, you don't need conjuration mastery to max out speed @200%. When you evade with them, speed bonus stays for 3 seconds from the implicit, thats enough to keep it perma up at 200 ms. With such cdr heavy build, your evade will be at 3 seconds (i think at least. idk with focus cdr gone, but even if so, then it's like 3.3-4s at most)

haha cool that u jumping on. i tried these builds like every season a bit, but it was never a build that reached full potential. This is changed now, and lets hope they do not nerf it too much, if at all. and remove those targetting bugs with doublecasts.
Oh well was expecting to have fun with this, but it's getting a nerf now that it seems viable and people are aware.
Lightning spear on the old arch lash build if built around crowd control had the same affects it was a huge chunk of damage not just a way to stun aoe. Having an aspect to pump out a little more juice looks fun but sorc needs way more dps.. this vs ww in bm ht would be interesting.
They definitely nerf unstable cooldown just like they are doing to flame shield. Watch.
flameshield was not really intended to be permanent. Unstable currents might be on the safer side here

Loved this build on the PTR. I just hope this will not be mandatory for Sorc and that there will be builds that don't actually require conjurations 😅

Wudi - as a shock sorc specialist, I love this vid! I have to say, they have definitely beefed up LS and that looks fun. Currently, I can't hit anything for a million, much less ten.
What about Ball Lightning, though? It seems to be garbage dps in comparison at the moment.
The sorcerer's need a permanent shield aspect
The problem with the Sorc class is that it needs exceptional gear to be average and yet still remains very squishy. This class just keeps missing the bus every season. Season 2 was the exception due to the BL damage bug.
it was proc bug and not dmg.. the dmg was nerfed afterwards.. right when they fixed the attack speed bug, that procced like crazy.
@borg111 I also remember wudijo and other creators cry for a NERF! Not a fix a NERF! Him and other creators are the reason sorc has been in this state since the launch of the game! Him and others got sorc nerfed since the beta!
If the lightning spears dont do comparable damage to the other leading classes, i'm not gonna bother with any sorc build this season. D4 team hates sorcs.

Sorcs have caps on paragon glyphs and damage caps. Barbarian has zero caps and infinite scaling. See da problem.
Yeah, real smoothbrain shit by blizzard. So fucking easy to adjust numbers on too.
But... barbarians do have them capped. Hemorrage is capped at 45 (in season 5) and blood rage at 30.
Again - it's astonashing how little people understand about this game. The problem with barbarians is 2 2h weapons + 2 1h weapons. That's an insane amount of power from aspects alone, not to mention tempering. Then we add on top of this the fact that barbs have a ton of uniques that are flat-out multipliers. Ramaladin can go upto a 120% multiplier.
The biggest scalers on barbarian outside of aspects are some talents like wallop (5% increased multiplicative damage to vulnerable per level - you CANNOT get this from a neck roll so it's capped at 15%) and heavy-handed which is increased crit damage multiplicatively.
Sorcs simply don't have enough tools to stack up multiplicative damage multipleirs. That's the problem. Not that "barbarians are not capped" because they are. They just so many slots to stack up multipliers - including some uniques. Sorcs and druid both don't have that. They have weird extra effects which don't give multipliers - they scale off them. But at the same time they have the least sources of multiplicative damage.
That's what this game is: multiplicative damage hoarding.
@@Torguish WOW, 2 capped things. Sorc, EVERYTHING capped. But yes you right, 2x 2h stat sticks extra and essentially 4 more aspects worth of power. GG.
@@overpowerrd everything is capped on barbs. I brought up the 2 paragons that have 2 way scaling as an example. Those are the ONLY ONES. And if you wouldve read i literally said the extra aspects and multiplier uniques are the problem. Not the caps.
I already think that casters should have 2 "focus" slots as an extra.
I don’t think you played the barb class. They do have caps. However, I don’t think this is where the problem lies. Barbs just got even stronger because they got more weapons that can be tempered and masterworked.
Just play barb for season 5. Barbs are obviously Blizzards favorite class. They can farm pit 101 in 2 mins, clear entire helltide packs, get more buffs than nerfs, and have multiple stronf builds. Also, if youre a trader, since they are so insanely overpowered, their gear tends to sell for 3-5x more than any other class. This means you can accumulate gold faster and more efficiently. Also, more gold and faster farming means you can power the trash sorc class quicker down the road. Lesson learned from s4.
Of course they are the favorite class. They have the best builds and by far the best skins in the shop😂 it’s mind boggling how they are on top EVERY season

I feel like they just need to 10x multiply the damage sorc deals especially end game because they should have always been the glass cannon build. Instead barb remains the top damage and the most tanky which is weird

Based on my grinding so far it will be another 200 hours before i get all the gear i need for my barb, can't find the perfect version of my most important aspect....... the game has to be really really really good to warrant this amount of grinding.
Lol thought about this exact situation. They added a lot more busy work to get your build online thru the whole crafting system but running pits to get there eventually burns you out before you want to push even higher. Fighting uber bosses solo were cool but weird to make that into a game loop. Need better drops in Pits as you go higher with more map & monster variety I guess.

Like almost all the sorc builds rely on cdr and every aspect has conditionals for some reason on sorc, like they are the over powered class or something.

Sorc key passives are so bad...
They get like 25%[x] damage to close enemies and that's it. Meanwhile, Barb gets +100% damage from Unconstrained, or like +5,000% from Gushing Wounds.
But the cute little Sorc only gets 25%...

Not blasting you in particular, you're just trying to make the the best out of the situation. But holy crap, another build that relies on the ultimate to deal any kind of acceptable damage. I don't know about anyone else but I am not a fan of these builds. It forces you to rush. We've had that already. Blizzard, give me back mana management and keep your sh**y cooldowns.
Also, this will get hard-countered by suppressors I feel like.

Have some respect for content creators man. Wudijo takes this game very seriously, and has been putting out builds for Maxroll for awhile now. I don’t think he’s a clown. Also, these are not intended to be final builds. They are to offer ideas as to how season 5 builds can look like as of now.
Well, I can tell you why wudi is making a video for season five when it's not even finalised. Because he's a content creator, he's putting out content and hoping people will watch it so he can make money.
That is his job.
I think the bigger question is. Why are you watching it, if that's the way you actually feel. Who is the real clown, the guy making money off the video. Or the guy watching it when he's got no interest in it?
How the fuck are you supposed to test patch if you don't make builds and test them? Not testing abilities, items, synergies, etc. That's what the PTR was opened for, don't you think? You are the ultimate clown.

It's pretty obvious that it's better to start from something rather than start from drawing board regardless of any changes applied between S5 PTR and S5 going live.
