i jjust throw arrow storm aspects into a leveling rogue when im making one...so its cool that it can now be a functional build it will make lvling stronger :)
Same, loved it last June and I love it now.
I have yet to level a 100 rogue, this might be the build to make me!
where is the tempers/aspect that expand the radius?
Rogue has been my favorite since season 2 I’m super glad rogue is still doing good in content
Already did use Arrow storm for s4. It ain't the best damage wise but it is fun to play with.
Agree. I played it majority of this season. It really fun but the damage is way off and it doesn't do much at all

@@viktorstorelv I believe it is a way to make everything imbued. I might be thinking of Season 5 though that has things incoming
Yaaa I leveled with it and then added scoundrels kiss when I got it (or whatever the grenade launcher unique is called)
It was super smooth for levelling
Have you tried the build with the new Smoke bomb aspect of Iron Rain? It gives SB a 35-50% chance to trigger an Arrow storm. I doesn't buff the damage of Arrow storms, but makes them apply Vuln. Do youo think it would be usable in the starter build until you can transition into Andys.
I don't know about the transition to Andy's, but I created a build around it on PTR and it was a blast. Used the aspect that dropped smoke bombs on dash, some aspects with stun grenades and the 2 other arrow storm aspects. I also had the unique chest. Dash in evade out everything melts. Hit em with puncture if you need a little extra. Did pit lvl 61 without an Andy's. Plan to play it S5. Fun little dash rogue build.

well I did that in s4 and it works as well with andariels builds

Do Arrow Storms count as Rain of Arrows? Like do they scale with Ultimate Damage? And could Word of Hakan be used in any way? I love the visuals/functionality of always having your Arrow Storms be triple imbued
It's just a damage proc not even categorized as Marksman damage, let alone Ultimate. It only scales with weapon damage, crit damage, vulnerable damage, and if you CC/trap a lot the you can scale crowd control. I'm not even entirely convinced it scales with DoT damage despite being technically "damage over 3 seconds".
Blizzard programming is wonky af (especially in Diablo) and for some reason they absolutely refuse to make a wiki or something explaining BY THEM what internally scales with that. Even wowhead dataminers can't apparently make any sense of it (despite them being able to provide literal math equations for damage calculations in WoW for most player skills)
Dont think dot increases arrow storm since it crits
Can arrow storms proc andariels? It would be nice if arrow storms could benefit from imbuement skills.
I don't believe it can. Passives and aspects that trigger from a lucky hit are generally unable to generate lucky hits themselves. There are known exceptions, such as Bursting Venoms and Meteor enchant.

very nice glad its working. such a cool effect
But in the favour of Arrow Storm you can use the Crown of Lucion if they fix it for all damage, or godslayer crown, Locron Amulet and Truesight aspect to scale it with crit damage. What it really needs is lucky hit chance and become imbueable, hope Blizzard makes it a thing, grenades got lucky hit chance from a ring so there is a possibility.
Am i to assume Flurry is viable also?Seeing as Wudi seems to be using it in his last few builds.
Everything in the game is "viable" but no, flurry itself isn't doing anything.
It gives you attack speed and SOMETIMES procs andariels or some crowd control

no. arrow storm is not hit based. it's dot
the problem with arrow storm aspects its because they dont come imbued, and the ultimate dont work well, like the decoy ult

Don't! You will miss out on damage if you plan on pushing the Pit. Do! If it all about fun and enjoying Rogue's arrow gameplay
@@antoinemoore8898 you dont really need to min/max to do the pit, not too much at least. as long as you can somewhat consistently complete 101s in 2-3 mins your pretty much on par with any other build for anything you would wanna do all season
@@Da5kone001 That's why I said it all depends on how you wanna play. If its to just have fun with a real Archer Rogue then go all in. I did it for a majority of this season. But if you tryna push deep in the pit....I don't advise this build.
@@antoinemoore8898 pushing pit is a waste of time, i played the majority of the season and had a very competent necro i saw 0 reason to push. You get mats faster in 101s in most cases, all your doing is pushing to see how high you or your build can go which is fine and im glad people find that fun but theres no reason to do it or limit yourself in builds for it
@@Da5kone001 I agree. You will get no complaint from me on that....I honestly think it would be better to do a lot of things like that in group-team content. Would be a lot more fun....The arrow storm build shines in team combat also
hey the first ultimate that actually does dmg, now they need to fix the rest lol on all the classes.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but arrow storm is not an ultimate. STORM OF ARROWS is an ultimate, however. This one is just the dmg outcome from a specific aspect. The arrows raining from above which the aspect procs are called arrow storms. XD
This is pretty much exactly Andariels rouge without the andariels Visage and instead arrow storm procs instead of the poison explosions
Arrow storm has been playable.
Everything is playable. The question is to what extent. This video wants to showcase that it is quite good, and you can actually use it to grind all the content without lacking tooo much damage like a pure flurry build does.
Ultimate Skills exist.
Synonymous with Uselessness.
Example: Eating 5 Hot Dogs was my "ultimate" skill during the Nathan's hot dog eating contest.
My 3 chars are not capable of kill even Tormented Duriel. Tornado Barb, Heartseeker Rogue and Frozen orb Sorc. I couldn't even scratch Lilith, for example (She is literally 100). All builds from directly Maxroll with paragons included. There are millions of video that they kill everything one-shot. What did i do wrong??
I’m also went heartseeker this season and I kill tormented duriel in probably 10 seconds and Lilith took a few tries but can kill her in under 2 minutes with all her mechanics and everything. You sure you followed the build guide 100%?
Don't know about tornado barb but I did play rogue and sorc. Both build on the site are very good and functional. I usually killed torment duriel in less then 20 second with heart seeker (even faster with rapid fire)
Sorc is not the best at boss honestly, but if you optimize the build torment duriel should not be much of a problem.
That being said it's hard to say what you did wrong without your build.
gear, just like any arpg you have to have gear and proper stats. Thats what you do in these games get better gear to be able to do harder content. You listed some of the harder content, a lot of people didnt beat lilith this season lol i wouldnt be too sad about that

"Pure arrows" proceeds to use andariels...
If you had watched the video, you'd know you don't need andariels at all for this build.
He also said andariel is better on its own than paired with arrow storm.
Andariels is just the upgrade to the arrow storm build.
The footage with Andariel equipped is where he was testing the synergy between the two builds.

Functionally identical, need more slots for the aspects, but deals lesser dmg than andariels. What a great balance. 120k dmg no cap vs 20k dmg capped at 7
A Mythic Unique should be stronger than a Legendary aspect, they could balance Arrow Storms a little more, but the comparison is not fair to begin with.
are you suggesting that arrow storm powers should be stronger than an uber uniques power? seems kinda odd but im willing to hear your reasoning
I'd rather have build diversity over super power item going brrrr. Also, why andariel? andariels dmg is 4 times the dmg of doombringer, which is also uber unique. I think that they should balance out a bit more, within a range of ~50% dmg difference at maximum.
@@Dalseom-tx2mu doombringer doubles your health total and the proc gives you 20% DR are you really saying thats not as powerful as a 5 sec dot with a 20k base damage per tick or 30k if you absolutely stack base damage on a class like barb? they do different things
@@Da5kone001 Im saying that andariels dmg is way strong that it prevents diverse build testing. No other 'damaging' aspects or uniques are even close being competitive, Xfals, arrow storms, esadora's... are not even worth mentioning. All the other aspects and uniques that triggers 'X amount of damage when lucky hit / when certain conditions are met..' are just waste of item slot since you're just gonna deal more if you just equip andariels. I would love to see builds like grenades, arrowstorms and stuffs to be at least be competitive maybe not as strong as andariels, but at least playable enough within -10 pit level range.
