I recently discovered that a couple of splashes of Worcestershire sauce in your mince meat makes for amazing burgers. I do, occasionally, add in some taco mix as well, just to mix things up
+assassintwinat8 I tried a spicy burger, added a little bit of cumin powder and a really minute quantity of garam masala (indian spice blend added to meats, among other things). The garam masala kicks the 'meatiness' of the burger a couple of notches and adds depth. Also some caramalised onions with honey gives awesome contrast.
I'm sitting here, its Christmas eve, I'm drinking a beer. God damn, I need to have a BBQ right now. I don't care if its raining, I need this burger in my life.
Dude, you're amazing!! your recipes are truly delicious, and the videos are really fun to watch! Keep up the good work!! greetings from the netherlands!
I make burgers for a place im working in, and steaming the cheese and top bun is incredible for texture, against the toasted bottom and crunchy salad! Love making burgers! Great vid, got my own going on youtube next week!
I made my own burgers for the first time the other day! I made mine with dried oregano, ground cumin, and smoked paprika. Topped with some home made ranch dressing using mayo, crushed garlic, chopped flat leaf parsley, chopped dill, onion salt, and lemon juice. And it was sooooo good!
for me a good burger is half pound topped with just pepper jack and caramelized onions. And sometimes a little BBQ sauce on the buns after I toast them. So i get this nice juicy burger with, some heat and sweet and some nice texture to
thanks, I'll take the chance. when I'm cooking for big groups of people the rings are off. Plus, the mince we used was so amazing, you could of eaten these raw.
Blackened rules!!!!!!!! I'm gonna work on a blackened dish. I use to work at a restaurant in Ocean City, Maryland called The Wharf and the best dish on the menu was Blackened Mako.
So I made these for my husband and I yesterday (griddle pan though - flats and bbq's don't mix) and...they.rocked.so.hard! I went a little heavier on the scotch bonnets though and added some figs on top for a little bit of sweetness. The contrast was absolutely fantastic! You should try it :) Thanks DJ BBQ! :D
I'd put some onions on there. But not raw, I'd put them into a package of aluminium-foil and add just a little bit of sugar and then on the barbie for a minute or so, that they get caramelized.... Tastes awesome!!
You've redeemed yourself, I enjoyed watching this video and clearly you can cook. So much nicer to watch without the loud insane music taking over the entire video. Thanks :)
tried this but put bacon and mexicana cheese in the middle with a little cheddar melted on top with salsa (mexicana is uk spicy cheese from supermarket) Daaam Good!
Seriously dude, these burgers are epic awesome, since I learned how to make these, I havent had another type of burger, I really dont want another type of burger, the only downside is that I cant have as many as I want as often as I want, Keep on rocking and stay frosty, all the way from Sweden
Dude, there are so many rad cheeses you can use. I love Montery Jack, cheddar. provolone, edam, just good ol american orange cheese. Experiment, have fun.
Mixed in with the meat finely, chopped peppers of your choice plus a small amount of finely chopped or pressed garlic. (you must retain garlic in your diet to guard against colds and flu's, it interferes with the viruses ability to replicate). Tomato is a must and a green is also a must and you must give the consumer a choice amongst at least 5 greens. Also optional to include mixing in with the meat - fresh cilantro, parsley or oregano, Condiments - next post
its called searing man. it's not burned all the way through, that sear keeps the meat from losing all its juices. It's good to sear beef on the outside, but then put it under some lower heat for a while to make sure it still gets cooked through...
Just tried it and everyone absolutely loved it. Juicy as hell, and the blue cheese and chilli combo is superb. Do you have a perfect sauce to go with it?
My favorite burger combo blue cheese, peppers and bacon. Add some grilled onions and mushrooms, a side of crispy fries and coke then u got the perfect meal ! :)
This is anathema to me because I've been making kababs all my life (Pakistan) so when I want a Hamburgher, I want a classic Hamburgher; else it's turning into a Kabab. I've started using English mustard in things now, but fresh black pepper, lots, is the only heat in hamburgers for me, tho I have put cayenne, a pinch. But there's a huge turn towards chilis - everyone wants heat in food.
I never liked BBQing, I always thought it's a lot of waiting, and always some burned burgers. Now that I see your videos I'm so excited to start BBQing when summer returns! I got a question about the cheese, I'm not a big fan of blue cheese, is Emmental or Gouda fine too? (I'll always be a Dutchman which means I love Dutch cheese hahaha!) I can imagine that mozzarella is a good cheese by the way.
I did this but i chopped the bacon and mixed it in, if you close the surface quick enough the bread becomes soaked in meat juice and spices and it becomes awesome as hell
finally chopped onion in minced meat makes a juicy burger...along with dales seasoning, small dash of soy sauce....also can use A1 steak sauce but you can over power with it..........
wow.... For me, I put my favorite, ketchup style sauce on. Thickens real nice on the grill along with good flavor. Cook on one side, flip, sauce the up side....after another 4, 5, or 7 min (depending on if I'm going for rare-ish, med, well done, and I flip and resauce the newly flipped Personal preference is vinegar style mustard sauce, but also love ketchup/molasses style sauce, or hot style bbq sauce. make patty to your liking (me, blackened or spicy style is best :) )
I watch this once in a while since I watched this by chance like 6 years ago just because they look so good.

my mouth watered when you added the chili to the meat..oh boy...need to make this!
I'm sitting here, its Christmas eve, I'm drinking a beer. God damn, I need to have a BBQ right now. I don't care if its raining, I need this burger in my life.

BBQ PitBoys rule! I love onions on my burgers....especially when I do BBQ sauce....sauteed onions and mushrooms with Monterey Jack cheese!
for me a good burger is half pound topped with just pepper jack and caramelized onions. And sometimes a little BBQ sauce on the buns after I toast them. So i get this nice juicy burger with, some heat and sweet and some nice texture to
i put mustard in and mild chilli, Hits the spot every time have a go!
I love making mine with jalapenos, sriracha and onion powder then throw in a little lemon zest cheese and ranch.
That looks like a solid burger recipe.
I like it.
Simple and it looks delicious
I'm personally not a fan of blue cheese so I substituted it with American and Swiss! Great substitute I must say,
thanks, I'll take the chance. when I'm cooking for big groups of people the rings are off. Plus, the mince we used was so amazing, you could of eaten these raw.

Love the idea of figs
I love this DJ. I usually like to add mint, red onion and a pinch of montreal steakspice to my patties. try it out !
I'd put some onions on there. But not raw, I'd put them into a package of aluminium-foil and add just a little bit of sugar and then on the barbie for a minute or so, that they get caramelized.... Tastes awesome!!

I like your food man, its not pretentious, stuff that people really like. hot meat and melted cheese can't go wrong - throw in some chilli; perfect.
This video just made me sooo hungry lol I would put pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, onion straws, BBQ sauce, and bacon. My mouth is watering so bad..
tried this but put bacon and mexicana cheese in the middle with a little cheddar melted on top with salsa (mexicana is uk spicy cheese from supermarket) Daaam Good!
What a recipe! You're gonna need to drink a serious IPA or bock to deal with at heat. Lovin' the blue cheese and bacon too.
I haven't had a Scotch Bonet Burger in a while... this is going to be my Friday night!
Seriously dude, these burgers are epic awesome, since I learned how to make these, I havent had another type of burger, I really dont want another type of burger, the only downside is that I cant have as many as I want as often as I want, Keep on rocking and stay frosty, all the way from Sweden
Cheers, Rasmus!
if you leave the bacon on the in direct part of the grill for 20 minutes it becomes nice and crispy learned that from the bbq pit boys
I love a spicy burger and this one is my favourite

DJ ChuckNorrisQ

But of course. BBQ'n since I was 8 years old and DJ'n since I was 18. Now I put the two together at festivals and pop ups. Catertainment.
That much chilli would kill me... but what a way to go!
The way you started laughing at the amount of chili inside burgers is priceless😁
DJ, my man ---your wardrobe has improved dramatically! haha

Salt pepper fresh herbs minced onion & garlic egg and bread crumbs for beef.
Lamb as above and add whatever curry spice you want. Chilli powder turmeric coriander curry powder.

Just tried it and everyone absolutely loved it. Juicy as hell, and the blue cheese and chilli combo is superb. Do you have a perfect sauce to go with it?
I like rocking a burger relish or my DJ BBQ Sauce from Planet Damn

Loved your outfit!! :-) I put fresh Jalapeno slices, A-1 sauce, dill pickle, and red onion slices!!
Thanks, our vids love you. I made this burger last night. sooooo gooooood
I like putting pickles, fries, sauteed mushrooms, or carmalized onions on my burger differently from the usually lettuce cucumber and tomato :)
I put cinnamon and allspice in the burger meat and cheese, lettuce and a slice of tomato on it. Yummy !
I want that burger now!!!!!!!!!
I just had my first blue cheese bacon burger. And I requested jalapeno atop, as well. It was ok. Yours looks better lol

you have to mix garlic into the meat and change the tomatoes for onion rings. daaayyuuum
Not a big fan of blue cheese, but I'd totally rock some sharp cheddar with those peppers.
Lettuce, tomato, pickle, Dijon and havarti. Like the backyard and your red shirt Jim.
Would be so cool if u were my dad, best recipe ever!
when i first looked at this i thought it's chuck norris on the grill.
This is anathema to me because I've been making kababs all my life (Pakistan) so when I want a Hamburgher, I want a classic Hamburgher; else it's turning into a Kabab.

Great ideas and I concur on the cooking recommendation. I actually like my burgers rare in the middle.
