  • Easy Tips To IMPROVE Your Hashimoto’s Nutrition// Diet and nutrition play a key role in our ability to manage our Hashimoto’s symptoms, but as each of us is different, it requires some testing and refinement. Even though identifying the right nutrition can be a process, there are some easy tips that we can use to simplify the process and make it easier to be consistent with our food choices as we support our thyroid. In this video, we’ll go over some of my most favorite Hashimoto’s nutrition tips that I often provide to my patients to help them see better success with their health.

      Thanks to your help Dr Bodle I have increased my protein significantly and it has helped tremendously. I also take an upper level amount of vitamin D3, try to avoid gluten. Autoimmune paleo has been helpful too. Thank you for all you do!

    Thank you Dr Brad such a great video. I think one of the best healing strategies for me is definitely priorizing protein. I aim for 40 grams at my first meal, which is usually after 11 am, and a clean protein shake, a couple of eggs (hardboiled on work days) or other meat idea, 3 oz berries or half avocado, gets me there. I have another animal protein around 2 or 3 pm, and then usually beef, steak or burger patties with another low carb choice at dinner. This is easy, and I love what I eat and easily get in 120 g. or more each day. No more sardines for me.... ha. We all look forward to your weekly topics! ❤

    This may sound weird , but when I gave up sugar it really helped to bake & give it away. If I didn’t bake & started having sugar cravings I’d go to the bakery & get something from there & give it to someone coming in. Have no idea why this works, but it does.

    Tks Dr Bodle. May I ask if two eggs in my first meal would be enough for the protein intake pls?

      No! One large egg averages only 6.3 gm protein, so 2 eggs is only 12.6 gm so less than a third his recommendation for protein! “Breakfast” does not have to be traditional “breakfast foods”! 6 ox ground beef would give you 42.9 gm protein which is sufficient per his recommendation!

      Not at all. I tried that and failed miserably. I now eat a chicken breast a side of veggies and a handful of blueberries for breakfast. That has helped so much!!!!

      You can add egg whites to your eggs to up the protein content
