I have been told since February 2001 by two gastroenterologists who treat my Crohn’s disease that I should not eat red meat, so I’ve been vegetarian or 90% vegetarian since then. With my health breaking down more and more, I switched to keto and now ketovore and added red meat for nearly a year. I’ve not felt this good in 20 years.

@@KT-dq5cp Sure but at the same time there have been many long term carnivores who regularly do blood work and are doing well. At what point is there enough evidence? Nutrition science is one of the softest sciences in the world, to get large scale, accurate, long term RCT’s is no small feat. Take for example cholesterol. We now have 5 meta analyses showing that cholesterol does not cause heart disease and that there is no correlation. Yet there are plenty of studies that say the opposite, I think that you will agree that Cholesterol is probably the most studied aspect of nutrition science and yet there is no consensus, in fact there are two diametrically opposed sides to the coin, both with “significant evidence” to support their arguments when realistically the weighting of the statistics in general shows nothing “causative” on either side. If the most studied thing in all of nutrition science for the last 50 years doesn’t have enough evidence to influence someone’s diet then we’re nowhere near having causative evidence on almost anything in regards to nutrition. Get your bloods done regularly, try and go by what is considered healthy levels of nutrients (not just the RDI’s), and constantly assess how you feel, that’s all you can do.

Thank-you! I am 5’7” and I was in ICU the last week of December 2021 with Covid and fighting for my life at 300lbs. I was classified as morbidly obese and my lungs were riddled with Covid, and on BP meds for 10 years! Laying in ICU I committed that if I survived I would take control of my health! I went Keto-vore and lost 45 lbs in 3’ish months. Came off BP meds! Then I went carnivore and I am now down 90 lbs., and at nearly 54 yrs old I feel like 35! For the last 9 months started back my weight lifting and walk 5 days a week!
Your channel, while I don’t agree with everything you layout on evolution, the science behind carnivore really makes sense to me and has proven to be true with my body! My goal weight is 195-200 as I have always carried more muscle as an avid weightlifter from 16 yrs old to 22 yrs old, then got married and quit lifting and the. Started again at at 43 years old for 1 year and hurt my hip. Hobbled around for 7 years then got a full hip replacement 3 years ago. My biggest regret is not doing this so many years ago!!

I started carnivore after watching you about 6 weeks ago. I am very obese but I can feel my clothes are looser already and I am moving around easier (I have been a yoyo dieter for 40 odd years... lose 10 kilo put on 20, lose 20 put on 30 etc.) It made me realise how full on the carb addiction is. For years I thought I had a hopeless food addiction... it was all carbs.
I had a small skin growth on my nose which has completely gone now since it appeared 12 years ago. It was a tiny thing but I keep touching the spot and find it amazing that in a mere 6 weeks of carnivore, its gone. Now my husband is interested and has been gradually replacing meals with all meat. He is in no way obese, but understands how humans have been lied to about what is healthy and what isn't and as we are in our 50's he's a bit keen to improve his health. Surprisingly I have not had any push back from anyone about this way of eating. People are very interested in a positive way, which surprised me.
My dad is 75 and I keep trying to get him on carnivore because he loves meat and I know he would do well on it. Its worth a try hahaha.

I've heard skin tags disappear as well, but have yet to see any improvement. Feel way better on Carnivore, my stomach is just quiet and calm. No cravings, food is not on my mind 24/7. Losing inches and weight, and just got over my first plateau, I decided to bring Diet Coke back into my diet. The sweeteners didn't trigger any cravings, but I immediately stopped losing weight. I am 66 years old and I started carnivore in July last year. It was the easiest thing I have ever done for my health. I have been on every diet that has come down the pipe most of my life. I’ve never had such an easy time changing my way of eating before or gotten such quick results in my health. My boyfriend at the time (now my husband) saw my results and began carnivore in August. He is about to turn 76 and has COPD. Just walking out to the street and back his O2 levels would drop into the 80’s and even high 70’s sometime. He had to carry a portable oxygen unit around everywhere he went.
He has lost 60 pounds since then and hasn’t used any oxygen (portable unit or nighttime unit) since September. I know they say COPD can only be managed or get worse and can’t improve, but my husband has certainly improved. His Pulmonologist (A Keto-Vore) is thrilled with his improvement. Not only does he feel so much better, but he even looks younger. So many health issues have improved for him. He’s been climbing ladders to install blinds, hang curtains, install security systems and other things that I try and talk him out of. LOL
We have a wonderful relationship and I have to say (without getting too personal), but we have powerful libidos that rival that of our youth. That was so surprising and unexpected to me. I didn’t see that coming. It’s just one of soooooooo many healthy improvements for us. I know for a fact that my body was extremely “Meat Deficient” before carnivore. Neither of us can believe the changes it has made in our lives.
Thank you Dr. Chaffee. I love your channel.

Haven't felt better in decades. Great, consistent energy! Training recovery is no longer an issue. No aches or pain in my joints or lower back. All while gaining muscle & dropping fat!
Body composition has been steadily improving.
My meals are mostly ribeye steak with ghee. Sometimes I will have a ny strip, rib roast, or chuck roast. Every facet of our lives have more simplicity!! My lady enjoys carnivore! However, she's still has carbs, just less of them. And coffee is probably one she'll always use.
We really appreciate the two of you! 🥩🥩

On Carnivore Elle's addiction to sweets took 6 months (she decided to deny her flesh, her desire ice cream) Elle's honest transparency gives me hope. Focused on the positive that her lolly or candy was not worth having her Psoriasis, bloating, and feeling sick after every meal --- return. Your complexion is amazing and Elle's faith in God is most refreshing. I pray Elle does not compromise her faith. We did not evolve, we were created by God ❤ The culture of today changes the meaning of words. Pride is no longer a sin, it is a month to celebrate same sex marriage. ❤ Enjoying my improved health on Ketovore. We must be most concerned about what God thinks, not our friends. Get married and be good for one another. ❤

I'm on my full second week of clean eating, it was your words that changed the way I was eating, just red meat, water, and salt and I haven't felt this good in so long given I started eating the elimination way 3 months ago. I was trying to make my food all Alton Brown way given I was watching other RUclipsrs making food all different ways and that obviously, that doesn't work for me. I started Carnivore to lessen my arthritis and hopefully start feeling better! ( which it's working! ) But my determination now is that ELLE had mentioned her RLS has improved by 99.9%, she replied in a previous vid, and now in this one, she mentioned RLS, IF I can improve my RLS by 60% that will be heaven given it's literally driving me bonkers!! Thank You for what you do! BE WELL GUYS>

i just watch the interview that you did with Anthony just now , thank you so much for sharing , i have been a vegan for the last 13 years and my son is getting ready to join the royal marines, so i have been researching on grass fed beef and stuffs as i know it wont be easy being a vegan for him. i have researched a lot so i encouraged him to try organic eggs and meat ..only tiny amount for the last 3 days and he is already feeling great , said his pain that he had from his leg has improved so much, he has eliminated all the rubbish out of his diet too. but he still wants to eat fruits like pineapple and berries... i am thinking of trying it but very nervous. maybe one day i am in the UK ,maybe will look up on people who have transitioned from vegan to carnivore. i went vegan in order to detox and improve my well being which helped tremendously. but i living like this for the last 13 years hasn't been easy as we have to constantly watch what we are eating and take supplements to top it up. please keep up the good work and share more testimonies. God bless

I was diagnosed with "IBS" recently after suffering months of unbearable pain which even prevented me from working. The carnivore diet is restoring me to health and after only a month off carbs and plants and I am back at work. The absense of pain is euphoric and it far outwieghs the carb cravings. My body fat has dropped to the point that I am vascular and have visible abs for the first time in my life. I have more energy and a clearer mind. Much of my anxiety issues which medical authorities atributed to PTSD is now being resolved. A severe carb addiction had me stuck on a negative dopamine feedback loop for years. Going carnivore activates epigenitic mechanisms in the genome which produce very rapid phenotipical results. I am a carnivore evangelist now.

Thank God you're in Australia Dr Chaffey, you might be able to knock some sense into Aussie doctors! I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis 6 years ago and I have experienced excruciating pain and deformity in my fingers. I also was diagnosed MSUG and fatty liver. My GGT was elevated for years until I jacked up and told my doctor I was going to manage my own medication (ex nurse bossy boots). I weaned myself off Prednisalone and Methotrexate and managed with occasional Ibuprofen for years and got my GGT back to normal. However, after a naughty binge on lollies (candies) my excruciating pain has returned 50 fold and I've had an alarming rise in Keppa protein (which I'm convinced is related to my binge (or at least I hope it is).
So, long story shortened, I've been checking out yourself and Dr Ken Berry and put myself on total Carnivore for the last week. Too early for blood results yet but I've lost 5 kg and my GORD of 20 years has totally disappeared.

Elle brought out an important point in overcoming addiction: self talk.
We talk to ourselves continually and have been programmed with misinformation.
She chose to take control of her thoughts and redirect to a healthier monologue.
Personally, my mantra is sugar is poison, why do I want to eat poison? Remember how awful I used to feel? No thanks.
On special family occasions I will eat a sliver of this or that and really don’t enjoy it-too sweet and I either have stomach pains or loose stools or in the case of a scone-three anxious nights of insomnia?! Wheat is a real no no now…

Question everything, nothing is really established knowledge. People seem to assume all the time every time.

Listening to you two, I just equated
1: my current journey in discovering "Carnivore", and sharing it with my wife; with
2: our 25+ year journey learning and understanding the spiritual necessity and sufficiency of the Lord's headship dynamic.

Thank you, I’m doing complete carnivore for five weeks now and feeling good. I’m getting back in the gym after Covid and rehabbing a broken elbow and a sore hip . I’m also stretching. I’m seriously trying to rebuild muscle! Anyway thanks for information, much appreciated.

Chilblains is a real thing Doctor. My sister and I had them as young children/teens and I had them a few times as an adult. They especially appeared during very cold Winters and as a reaction to putting your cold feet into hot baths. You can only prevent them by keeping your feet and hands constantly warm in Winter. Poor circulation of the extremities is typically a pre-condition. On top or underneath our toes, small blisters that were awful, itchy/sore. They are very painful and uncomfortable in general and take a long time to heal. I'm glad not to have them anymore.
Another topic: My favourite restaurant order is grilled fresh fish (if possible the catch of the day) with plenty of butter. My favourite meal. Add oysters and I'm in heaven!
