I purchased one of these to replace a Caldwell I had issues with. Never could get the Caldwell to link to my phone and I tried two phones. This ProChrono link up right away and has worked great.
I'm using the same chronograph as you, I got it because I couldn't find the FX in stock anywhere and the ProChrono DLX was my second choice and it does an awesome job with my airguns! I agree with the batteries so I buy them in bulk at Amazon, the same place I got my chronograph and I paid $119.95 too.
Great review 👍 Just got me one of these chronographs, have yet to try it out hope to do so tomorrow. Great shooting I could barely tell when you squeezed the trigger. Thought the report was from someone else on the range till you ejected the empty’s
Thanks man! I use mine often, pretty accurate and the Bluetooth works well. Make sure you investigate activating the Bluetooth before you hit the range.
You are correct about Caldwell chronos. The Caldwell chrono I had was a joke. On a good, overcast day it MIGHT pick up 2 out of every three shots. That was with everything from a 22 magnum to 500 s&w. I just ordered the Prochrono last night. It's bound to be better than the Caldwell. Good video.
I got to use a ProChrono DLX the other day. Brand new. Cold and miserable outside, so I attempted to get it working inside (/w pellet pistol). Nope!!! Once I layered up with my jacket and gloves and did the setup outside, it worked like a champ.
@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan I tested it again this morning, in bright sun light. Did not work til I pointed the sensors directly at the sun. Sort of like kicking the sensors in the arse. Worked fine after that. This chronograph is not mine, but the neighbor's who bought it and dropped it off for me to get working. I returned it to him and told him what I discovered. He can decide if the device needs to go back to MidwayUSA or not.
You are correct. They are very affordable too. I don't care for the hassle though, I just sold it and got a proper chrono that is smaller and more capable. These are still reliable, but more work than it was worth to me personally.
I was expecting it to cost alot more. The price of the Lab Radar is one of the reasons I haven’t pulled the trigger on one. Don’t get me wrong I have an Smidt Bender Ultralight 3-20 x50 scope on a Spuhr qd mount.
Same. But I do appreciate also there is some real simplicity to this device, it might be a pro compared to the radar at times. Thanks for watching Ron!

Good demonstration of the units capabilities. Very helpful. BTW, love my 457 VPC too!

How far would you recommend the set up distance from the bench be using .300 Win Mag to eliminate the powder cloud concern?
A minimum of 10 yards, but I think the manual actually has recommendations in it

Good video.
I just got back from my range with this thing, so disappointed.

Plenty of 9v rechargeable batteries out there on the market, Can get 4 or 5 for $20 and cheap to replace when they get old.

I just order one today
