A fact the arrow will never have a velocity greater than when it leaves the bow string. From that point on it is loosing energy and thus velocity. The wire LED light supports are not antennas. They simply support the lights. Unlike a Magnetospeed or Labradar it only uses light no type of magnetic or electronic signal. The unit starts counting when the nearer light beam is interrupted and stops counting when the the far beam is interrupted. The BIGGER the count the LOWER the velocity.
The times I have heard that an arrow acelerates AFTER it left the bow you would not believe. My question to those people is where is it getting its energy to accelerate? And while they are at it I ask them if they can knock out a perpetual motion machine at the same time ;-)
Great vid! Now PLEASE EXPLAIN: I bought one exactly similar (80Au$) and the led light never lit up but I have the blue light on ok. Why that? On your video it looks like they are not lit either but i can see the blue leds. Are they INFRARED? I ended up a bit cheesed off with mixed results on the shoot (bullets) so I bought another Prochrono (I shot the last one with a piece of wax from a HM black powder cartridge). I hope you can read my comment and reply. Thanks for your video (gives me hope)
