  • Thousands of people are attending Havana’s International Book Fair this month. The fair is Cuba’s most important literary event. This year the event is sponsored by Brazil.
The event is aimed at a family audience, including titles for adults, teenagers and children. This year, 45 countries are participating and readers come from all over the world
Cuba’s state-run publishers have historically kept prices low to make reading accessible. Books from other countries are more expensive.

Just from having general conversations with people from different countries, I find that people who are from the United States are the least educated. Education come from reading and on wanting to know more.
