There are many dark sides to Angelfish, you just witnessed one. I have some Manacapura Angels and they are the more wild type with a rusty back. I know they aren't the bright red back ones BUT they are beautiful angels that get VERY BIG. When I sell them I always show they buyer a picture of the parent fish so they know what they bought.
The fish look healthy. You will find there are two tips of fish breeder. One that kulls and the one that doesn't. Unfortunately one bad person can give us all a bad name. Congratulations on the Koy Fry.

Those aren't even wild fish. You don't get short gill plates or stunting with wild fish, clearly tank raised and poor husbandry. Add to it that he overrepresented the sizing (a lot of people do though) but it's still a ripoff and misrepresentation.
It's absolutely correct. These are not wild-caught. They are f1 tank bred. The breeder has the wild caught ones, as I failed to mention in the video 😅.
@@amazonianangelfish but it's not an honest review then. It's just a video of you complaining. You say made the video for the good of the angelfish community. As someone who wants to buy angelfish online but doesn't have your experience I might order from them and end up with garbage. This would further decrease faith in the angelfish community you said you made this video to protect. Warning us about the seller protects us and encourages them to do better. Taking a refund and being silent means you put an unscrupulous seller below the community you said repeatedly you want to protect. It's like they bought your silence for what you said was a very small refund. A few dollars when you could of helped hundreds or maybe thousands over the years. 😢
@Able Aquariums I completely agree with you, but for those who are interested in these fish, I will have them available in the future. As for the seller, it's more complicated than just simply naming them and calling them out. Because this is a public unboxing and without the consent of the seller using any of their information or contents because they ghosted me, it may easily become a lawsuit situation for defamation, and I don't have time for that. Anyone feeling publicly shamed, with exact name, is treated differently than just a simple bad review on Google or any social media. If people truly want to know the seller, they can easily search on Google. I can not confirm, but one can safely assume who they are if the shoe fits if it is the Sao Gabriel angelfish. With this said, I am just an average person and do not want any legal heat, while still, at the same time, I want to bring awareness to the community by showcasing my personal experience with an online order, just like any RUclips channel. Also, this video is a slap back at them to get their act together. I do support breeders, and sometimes breeders make honest mistakes, and no one really tells them. I do not want to have them to go out of business simply because I made this video and deter costumers away from them because people can change for the better too. And I have faith in that. There's two faces to every coin, and I can not narrowly put forth my ideas and not accept their mistakes.
@@amazonianangelfish I guess. In any other hobby people get goods from suppliers big and small and speak the truth and say where they got the product from. It's a shame with it comes to living things people act different for fear of legal action. You paid for it, you own it, there is no non-disclosure contract between you. Setting thst aside did a complaint video directed at the seller to clean up their act really need to be 36 minutes long? It didn't really bring me anything as a subscriber.

As for the length, this video is for your entertainment to pass time, and to bring awareness to viewers both buyers and sellers to have a higher standard for the care of the fish that is sent out. I'm not forcing anyone to look at my videos, and waste their time, as I mentioned in the video, go ahead and skip around. I'm just simply another guy with a camera recording my fish life and fish experience. I can only hope that the next video brings you enjoyment.
As a breeder in South Africa without access to these amazing wild strains it really upsets me that such rare fish are being treated so badly.

I believe some people has $$$ signs in the eyes. I ordered fish , and chickens which I gave up on the breed because of bad sellers!
