As someone who has listened to "Latin" music for over 50 years plus played trumpet and percussion in a salsa band and other styles: I must say JYP did a better job intermeshing the influences of the multiple rhythms and melodies of Afro-Carib-Latin music than most composers/arrangers in the K-idol genre.

@@orbeat6557 The thing about some kpop fans is that they are generalizing their idols to whatever music they heard first from them, to the point that they get mad & violent if the group's comeback will be a different kind of genre of music. This is what you call a breath of fresh air people! I don't think Twice will still be this big if they're not constantly changing their Music/Concept. That changing of Music/Concept is what Twice sells right now with each of their comebacks, and all of us Onces are so hooked up to it. I personally love this unpredictable Twice changing and stepping up their game every comeback 💖

But I LOVE that their next move is to double down in a way and say "Hey, for summer, let's go even more retro and bring back some fun, bright 1960's Bossa Nova tropical vibes". I am totally here for it!

This song is such a great "pick me up" song. I was in such a bad mood when this was released, I listened to it during my lunch and ended up having such a goofy grin on my face after the video finished.
