This song and their 3rd album is a mature developed sound with excellent song writing and production. There are the usual pseudo critics saying "its not one of Twice's best songs" usual mantra, but they always seem to pop up to be "controversial" or for views. I'm just glad that OT9 are back onstage together.
I think this argument comes from people just having coming off with "The Feels" (which, I'd like to remind you, was only a month ago). When you have that song still lingering in your member, and TWICE comes out with a more easy-going mellower song, people are going to say it's not their best. Had "Scientist" been spaced out from "The Feels", I think that would have helped, but also.... knowing we have songs like "Icon" and "Last Waltz" as B-tracks, it makes one wonder if "Scientist" was the right choice.
So glad that Jeongyeon is performing on the music shows considering she wasn't dancing when this video was shot. OT9 is back! I think you hit the nail on the head about other large groups. More cameras, more time equals more money. The smaller companies should use fewer members if they can't afford to do it right. Makes me worried for Kep1er.
Sera, this morning I was reading and came across the Greek word “Agape”, and it made me think about things that you have spoken of often. Agape means “unconditional love that transcends and persists regardless of circumstance” and is described in 1 Timothy 1:5 as coming from “a pure heart, and a good conscience, and a sincere faith”. I’ve noticed that you have really taken this idea to heart and have tried to embrace its meaning and power in your own life, despite having been through very difficult circumstances. I admire your empathy, compassion, and perseverance so much, as well as your enthusiasm to spread light and love. I’m trying to do the same for those in my life, and your example is really inspiring. Thank you Sera ❤️

Probably because it’s just good enough to get people interested in the album. It follows in line with the sound of The Feels without being quite at that same level of ear-worm status so it’s a good direct follow up to present a full album. Last Waltz is a great song but it’s too far off from their most recent releases in terms of style. Twice has been getting a lot of praise this year for returning to “old twice” so even though there are more _interesting_ songs on the album, this song fits the theme best
You absolutely have no fking clue how difficult it would be sing and perform Last Waltz live on stage, let alone with choreo. I'd say use some common sense, but it has become abundantly clear that kpop fans have none.
Sera getting wiped out by God Jihyo like everyone else. Although, "gypsy" is a slur, and I'd advise avoiding its usage in the future :P "Romani" is a more accurate, and less offensive term, that describes the ethnic group.
It may not be political correct, but it's not a "slur". Having a negative connotation (in today's age of heightened sensitivities) doesn't make it a slur. You have sea gypsies over in South East Asia. Should we be calling them Sea Romanis in the future? Even though they are not ethnically the same? If you're gonna wokesplain, you better get all your arguments right.

Jeongyeon is still partially on hiatus because of health reasons, so she's been sitting out (some of) the dance parts of their recent MVs. But she's in the videos in clips that aren't dance. 😊

Last Waltz is not Twice's usual sound while this is so I'm not surprised they chose this as a title track. I personally love it.
