I love these kinds of solos because Saki plays so fast and so dirty that I can't figure out exactly what she's doing so it makes trying to duplicate it a challenge. An impossible one, but still. She kicks so much ass as a shred goddess.
Definitely felt the Priest vibe. Eye is one of my favourite singers, Rio is just bad-ass on the bass, Saki shreds like hell and the drums are great too. Just an awesome band !
Saki. She's also one of the guitarists in Nemophila. How many face melting bands can one person be in? Thinking Nemo will probably expose her to the most people but Mary's Blood was/is - is/was some epic Metal 🤘🔥🔥.
Mary’s Blood were actually the first successful band to spin out of the legendary Destrose. (Later spinouts include Disqualia, Mardelas, Lovebites and Fate Gear.) Mary’s Blood had some early personnel changes but settled into a stable lineup consisting of: Eye (vocals), Saki (guitar), Ryu (bass) and Mari (drums). When they tour, they are joined by: Yashiro on second lead guitar (that’s why you see five women on stage in live performances). Yashiro is an instructor at Tokyo College of Music and has declined a lot of offers to join a band full time. She teaches many of the young, up and coming female guitarists. Saki is hands-down one of the top shredders, male or female, in Japan, and Ryu and Mari are one of the best rhythm sections in metal today. I’ve seen them live and they are mind-blowing.

Saki is a guitar goddess, her current engagement extends wherever inspiration leads her. He is currently the lead guitarist and COMPOSER in Nemophila (modern metal band with screaming female vocals), Mary's Blood (Power metal band with female vocals), AMAHIRU (hard rock-metal band with male vocals) and also has solo projects (Instrumental metal). He also collaborates with other musicians on their projects such as IRONBUNNY. Amahiru is actually a joint project with Frédéric Leclercq ex Dragonforce bassist (now in the Creator) and represents a mix of Japanese and European metal. She planned a European tour with this band last year, but everything failed because of Covid. Each band in which Saki plays and composes, automatically climbs a few levels up, on the quality ladder.
Love Nemophila. In a recent interview Saki says she works with a composer team, all the members do input their parts with Tamu having the longest career in the band writing all her own drum fills.
Yes Saki is one guitarist in Nemophila. She also has a project with former Dragonforce bassist. Nemophila is great as Saki is guitarist with Hazuki. And having du@l guitarists, it allows her more creativity. Yes, EVH, Slash, John Petrucci, Cris Olivia, Gilmor , Santana always favorites of mine. But. Now the ladies are taking over for me. Midori, Miyako, Kanami, Saki, Hazuki, Merel Bechtold all right there.
I love, love, LOVE Mary's Blood. One of my absolute favorite bands, regardless of genre, geography, or gender. Just phenomenal all around. This song is a Saki (guitar) showcase, but EYE is an absolute beast of a vocalist as well. When she lets loose, especially live, her voice is like a velvet-covered hammer that will knock you the !@#$ out -- but you'll love it anyway. :-)

Check out "White Graffiti" by Ocativagrace, with Hanako (ex-Destrose) on guitar. She doesn't get as much attention as some of the other ladies, but she's a beast as well. Still got to do TRiDENT, "Continue." Those ladies rock hard and just keep getting better with every single.

just watched some of your lovebites reactions. i was abou tto suggest this song but youve beat me to it.wanted to mention that a lot of these female metal bands you review are from a band called destrose. if you want to check out more amazing bands just look up all the members of the band destrose and you can find all the bands the old members have joined. would like to recomend Mardelas. the vocalist from destrose is in that band and shes great. fate gear is also another great band from ex destrose member

Mary's Blood (13 y) and Aldious (13 y) , together with Scandal (15 y, responsible for term J-Rock), Bridear (10 y), Gacharic Spin (12 y) and BabyMetal (yes, they are 11 y active!) they are the longest active bands. Japan had an awesome all female metal band in the 80's called Show-Ya. If anyone out of Japan or near vicinity knew about them, they'd be very popular. We only had few all female bands then with Bangles and The Go Go's being the only actually known. Japan now has over 50 all female bands active as of this year. I love Saki and Eye they are so cool here. Saki (also Nemophila, Amahiru) is definitely right after Miyako and Midori for me. Wish I can see the three with Hazuki (Nemophila), Yuki (D-Drive), HAL-CA (Asterism) and Kanami (Band-Maid) all together in a shred fest with Miho (Lovebites), Misa (Band-Maid) and Tomomi (Scandal) on bass. Drummers would be Haruna (Lovebites), Tamu (Nemophila), Marina (Aldious, gotta love triple drum bass kit). Singers would be Asami (Lovebites, uhm yeah ... guess everyone from Lovebites eh), Eye (Mary's Blood), Mayu (Nemophila) and Fuki (Dol$$box/Unlucky Morpheus). Now that would be a super group.
