Red bull were able to get decent top speeed by massively trimming their wing, but that came at the cost of downforce. Basically they had an inefficient wing, and it wasn't a mistake. It was a calculated sacrifice they made for monza and las vegas because of the budget cap.

Perez and Hamilton are two drivers that have lost all confidence. They are both making so many errors. We know they have the talent, unfortunately F1 is not very forgiving when drivers begin to spiral into poor performance after another. Lewis has had less criticism, from the British media with excuses of car experiments or sabotage, however all that is now looking more and more silly. Lewis has a fresh start next year to try and improve. I fear Perez will not have that luxury.
totally different. Lewis is still pretty much on equal points with George, whereas Perez is 250 behind Max, and the picture looks even worse if we exclude the first 5 races (Max outscoring Perez almost 6 to 1). Lewis throughout his career has been very even with most of his teammates, only singificantly outscoring Bottas and Kovalainen. Alonso and him on equal points Button outscored him by a slight margin He outscored Rosberg by a slight margin. Russell won 2022, Hamilton 2023. Now it's dead even.
@@daarom3472he’s losing to George despite getting 50 points on him between britain and spa. Two races George could have won. That’s pathetic for a 7 time champions.

Peter if you a really think Gasly and Ocon have the same exact spec car, especially since Ocon left for Toyota Haas, I've got a bridge in the Atlantic Ocean I'd like to sell you! It's fairly obvious Gasly's people have effectively staged a coup there with many high level people gone from both Alpine and Renault. Gasly is doing well no doubt, but he definitely has a better spec car than Ocon now a days and let's not forget Gasly was by a mile the worst driver along side Max of the handful of teammates he's had at RB. He was getting LAPPED in races by Max. Alpine is a trash team run by deeply unserious people. Ocon has actually been the slightly better qualifier until recently when they stopped giving him the latest spec. There were times where the Haas looked better than the Ferrari this weekend. With Toyota's resources, I have a lot more faith in that team/car making a big step next year than Alpine which is a circus. I do agree Ferrari may come to regret dropping Sainz, but in fairness he's never been as consistently good as he has been for much if this year. If Sainz had shown that more often in prior years, it's possible he'd still have that seat. Ferrari probably felt Hamilton would produce them better race results on average and likely came to that conclusion before we saw this clear cut uptick in Sainz's form. Hamilton also brings them even more massive marketing opportunities and attention. It was a business decision as much as it was a sporting one. Lastly I have no doubt that if Ocon had ever been given the opportunity in a front line car like Gasly had, he'd have performed and handled it a lot better. Popularity contest aside, Ocon is the better driver IMHO. But good for Gasly taking advantage of the favorable conditions and track with their package. It's something I would've expected fo see more from Williams on a circuit like this.
Pety excuses for Crymilton. Track conditions, temperature, weather, team mate, team orders, and rest of the grid, please arrange yourselves so the "greatest of all times" could show his potential🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gotta call bullshit on some of that. Hamilton was in traffic so thats why he was slow and made errors, Colapinto was in traffic and thats why he was getting purples before crashing. Was reality different for them or rather its just commentator bias? Reality is both fucked up, difference is Hamilton has more titles than Colapinto has races, only one of them has a solid excuse.

How is it possible that Hamilton suddenly lost control of his car, in Q3, after setting the pace virtually all week end? Answer: The Mercedes team must have been told to shaft Hamilton's car setup in Q3. The saddess fact about the current Mercedes team is Toto's decision to recruit Russell, against team advice, has forced the Mercedes team to become a disappointing, mid field team that has resulted in losing key development personnel & Hamilton.
I used to believe almost everything that you said, but now not so much. You are forever skeptical of everything. No matter how much something makes sense you tend to go the other way. I can’t wait for Lewis Hamilton to go to Ferrari.

This is not the first time we have been here and seen him dominate all round practice only to come up short. Also, media has captured Mercedes every round going into qualifying doing shit to Lewis Hamilton‘s car
In fact, every driver that doesn't get the result I want them to get is sabotaged. And in F1 everyone who was fast in free practice always wins the pole. Always. Yup.
@ you know I am an American, but I also have common fucking sense. You don’t go through damn near every practice being somewhere in the top five and then getting to qualifying and losing 2 to 3/10 of a second every fucking time. It’s just not rocket science. Got out of bed on the wrong side, dude ;-) Tomorrow you will be in seventh heaven again when Lewis, according to himself, could've won the race, which you will undoubtedly confirm immediately :-) The Mercedes was perfect in Vegas and brought back memories of the past, even for Lewis who can still drive his laps when everything is perfect!
I wonder how Ferrari are rating Hamilton now,,,
Hamilton going to Ferrari is more amount money than anything else.
Maybe not so bad, leclerc will be less under pressure next season.
After the race bang on the money They have got a championship contender if they can produce an equal car
Don't understand why hamilton kept his lap, he went off track and should have his time deleted
This circiut is faster then baku?
Peter had a bias view on Sainz. He doesn’t see the mistakes made by Sainz. Charles is clearly bringing more point to the team. Regarding sacking SainZ for Hamilton, agree that it wasn’t a good idea but let’s move on and not have to repeat the same thing in all your videos
Really peter but that Mercedes is way better that that red bull in vegas and is not about straight line speed LOL and also i expert Ferrari will be better than Mercedes in race pace and i don't be surprised if we will have another 1_2 Finish by Ferrari and Russell only third and also i expect Mclaren will be better than Max in race pace so if Max samehow managed to Finish ahead of Lando in possible P4 and win The WDC it will be great result in that RB20 with hight downforce rear wing and also the start of the race will be really interesting into T1 and remember what happened last year
EDIT " even if Max finish in P5 behind Lando Max still will win the WDC because Max will lead Lando by 60 points after Vegas of course if Lando didn't win Fastest lap point and even if Lando win last two races Max will still win the WDC by having won more races than Lando "
Gasly!!!! I have to say, I think Hamilton has lost confidence and in some ways has begun to self-sabotage. He was doing great until it mattered. With the grid the way it is, I think the race will be interesting.
i think mclaren having two cars in Q3 at a circuit where they had a double Q1 knockout is decent news
decent in sector 1 where the ferraris struggled and the mercs were mighty but i think thats more to do with track temps
good news for mclaren at qatar perhaps?
They went too early in Q3 and used a second set of slicks in Q1. Both mistakes in my view.
Red Bull already talked about their decision to not make a low DF wing... THEY DIDN'T FORGET ANYTHING..
Come on Peter, you're supposed to be the expert here

Lewis is just washed. he can only get 99% out of a car unless the car is perfect. George consistently gets 100% out of the car no matter how bad it is
It’s either he’s washed or he’s just mentally defeated to the point of no return. To me it looks like he’s washed. Everyone saying he’ll bounce back at Ferrari but I don’t think he will if he gets off the a bad start he’ll probably spiral downwards like he is now

@andrewmelton2686 are you calling out the LH wHate Watchers?
Sainz has new engine is the main reason he gains on straights

@ correct he lost most of his time in s1 I’m just saying the reason why he is losing on the straights to sainz
Confidence. Lewis ain't doing nothing breathtaking next year. He should move on.
totally different.
Alonso and him on equal points
Button outscored him by a slight margin
He outscored Rosberg by a slight margin.

Let's see how the race will pan out. If SLH's car holds on the pace we have seen during the weekend, he will not stay in P10.
Mercedes race pace in practice wasn't that great.
At this point, too many strange things going on to make me think it's not LH's fault.
Pety excuses for Crymilton. Track conditions, temperature, weather, team mate, team orders, and rest of the grid, please arrange yourselves so the "greatest of all times" could show his potential🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Crazy that red bull only has 1 driver, it’s shocking to see a top team run only 1 driver all year.

Lewis Hamilton is being sabotage. It bothers me that someone has intelligence as you cannot see that. The mass doesn’t make any sense. This is not the first time we have been here and seen him dominate all round practice only to come up short. Also, media has captured Mercedes every round going into qualifying doing shit to Lewis Hamilton‘s car
More excuses.

Hey, Rickey, if you are so convinced that Lewis is sabotaged, go ahead and prove it. It will make you a millionaire in an instant.
Not to mention the fact that has been recorded by Sky one that they are always working on Lewis Hamilton’s car before and during qualifying. If nothing’s wrong with the car, leave it the fuck alone. Stop tearing his car up and adding things but also total wolf is on record saying they are always trying experimental things with Lewis Hamilton’s car. They don’t do that shit to George Russell.
