Ich hab für heute fast zu viele komplett geniale (für mich) neue Alben entdeckt. Das hier gehört dazu. Mein ganzer Tag war ein einziger Soundflash und dieses Album ist der perfekte Abschluss dafür....ich habe es heute nicht einmal geschafft, traurig zu sein. Musik ist Magie!
This was an out of the blue surprise. What a gift, another Aquilus album. I'm about to get swept into the ether and then abruptly dropped in the mire. Oh well, looks like I won't be going to bed now. 🖤🤘

Great album. Aquilus never disappoints. Thank you, BMP! For anyone curious: the final lines are from the movie Brief Encounter (1945). It's an incredible film, one of the greatest of all time. If you're painfully, wistfully romantic it's like being gutted with a rusty spoon for 90 minutes. It's on here for free, currently. "This can't last. This misery can't last. I must remember that and try to control myself. Nothing lasts really. Neither happiness nor despair. Not even life lasts very long. There'll come a time in the future when I shan't mind about this anymore, when I can look back and say quite peacefully and cheerfully how silly I was. No, no, I don't want that time to come ever. Darkthrone and Emporer ( meaning what ishan and samoth and all past emporer members have been involved in great projects/bands ) are my favorite bands and they both get negative reactions, comments when they go in new directions. I think it's great that burzum listens to dead can dance and new order, imagine varg dancing to Blue Monday or True Faith, hell I love joy division and new order myself, I'll even pop in Nick Cave when I'm in a depressed mood, a little 'stagger lee' or 'into my arms', hell yeah. With all due respect to all musicians, just like we are all different , thankfully there is plenty of different music to satisfy us all. My reply I was just being cheeky, meant no offense. I saw an interview with Tom Araya and he said until he met Kerry King and Jeff H. he never listened to any metal , all hippie music , cream , Jefferson airplane etc... It's all good, keep on rocking in the free world 🎵 , whatever brings that feeling good music brings you fuk what people say or think and enjoy it. Music can make you feel all different ways and unlike drugs no side effects or dying because there is fentynal in the new judas priest album🤘

I also love Emperor’s In The Nightside Eclipse, I’ve not listened to their other albums but that one’s a classic. And Ihsahn’s solo work, with which I’m mire familiar with, is also great and highly recommended if you’re into some more experimental, symphonic or jazzy black metal. It’s always nice to find a friendly metalhead online! Rock on! lml

Atmospheric, epic, sympho, a great b!end of sonic passages with top fineness; an auditive film to enjoy in the right ambience that each of us would choose and for me it must be at home, alone with something to pour in the glsss or a journey in the park early in the morning to avoid to meet so many people that could interfere the beauty of the picture. the sound of the album is somehow "overfilled" by the reverbs... I cannot describe it correctly, but it sounds "too full" to me, even in quiet passages.
