Before you comment about Belos saying "Caleb" not "Kill him", please watch another 30 seconds... Other Corrections (please read before commenting): - People are commenting that I missed the post-credits scene, I didn't. (22:54) - Eda's arm disintegrated (18:57), so she's not getting it back. I missed that somehow. - I also said that King's collar was given to him by his Father by mistake. Eda gave it to him, but he carved the symbol from his island on it, which is probably what made him invisible.
So zeez i know wheres luzs palismen its in her backpack u will tell me i dont know that well guys trust me it is true because why would luz leave her palismen so she think if shes in the human realm so trust meh
I think the game “Owl House” is going to be a recreation of the whole Boiling Isles. Where everyone tries to pretend everything is normal while The Collector puppets the world. It will also be fun to see how Amity, Gus, Willow, and Hunter adjust to being in a whole other realm while trying to get back home. EDIT: I'd like to say that Bad Girl Coven has been stealing this comment and posting it onto others toh videos, and that they've also stolen others from what people have been saying.
That’s like TBHK’s Shijima-San chapters where the ghost trapped everyone in a world where everyone’s alive and well, living their best lives, but there’s something wrong in that world that the characters slowly notice
I think the reason why The collector wasn’t able to see king was due to the symbol on his necklace the same reason why when Lilith and the others visit the little island were he was born ,it was hidden with the same symbol
Speaking of The collector what do you think of him in my opinion I think he's chaos I was exactly call him good about the same time he's not really evil like many people say he's just a kid with too much power
Yes ! He’s hidden , and in the episode when we see king as a baby, he wakes up looks up and sees this ceiling glass thing that had the same symbol on it. He’s being protected , but why?
@@nouni2002 Why else? He's the son of the Isles-the last Titan too. Without those measures put in place by his dad, who knows what Collector would have done to him as a kid. Like maybe... I dunno, be part of his beast collection as a trophy, mayhaps.
@@JAND4LISMS still . What can king do taht we don’t know ? What can the collector do with him ? We don’t know yet. The collector seems like a child , a ver chaotic one and we don’t know much about him
Belos: *Sees Hunter's Palisman.* Belos: *"CALEB?!"* Also now we know the Collector is just a lonely, reality-bending god who wants to play with other people... But doesn't know he's actually causing harm and probably doesn't have a good sense of what's right or wrong. He just does whatever he wants. He's kinda like Bill. The difference is he's more of a child while Bill is straight-up evil, morbid, and a trickster.
Yeah, who knows for how long the Collector has been all by himself, with no parent figure whatsoever to teach him about right and wrong... Kikimora described The Collector as a "Child of the Stars", so maybe there are others like him, with whom he can play forever? Even if he ends up staying in the Boiling Isles (supposing he's not resealed or destroyed), I can easily imagine him becoming a force of good or at least a harmless trickster, if someone agrees to befriend/raise him. We all know how great of a mother figure Eda can be, so, who knows...
Bro honestly when I saw collector move the freacking moon like it was nothing my mind got blown🤯🤯 honestly tho hope someway and somehow Luz and the Feng make it back to the boiling isles and befriend the collector bit who knows...
@@stickzigames479 yeah i don’t know about that. Because let’s be honest. Who could even get near him at all before being completely annihilated. I mean collector could just blink and everyone around him would be dead.
Remember how Belos said “out of all the grimwalkers, you look the most like him”? If his brother is called Caleb, and his Palisman really is Flapjack, which is an item from the human world only in this show, it could mean that just for a moment, Belos conflated/confused Hunter with his brother. That’s actually kinda sad, until you realize that he immediately tried to kill him afterwards.
this is especially interesting in the context of him *rapidly* reliving all of those memories thanks to gus-- he probably really did have caleb (and murdering him) on his mind
@@FrogmaskMusic Exactly! The only other thing is that we know the magnifying glass charm allows the user to *see* the memories of the person they are using it on. That means that Gus could have, not necessarily did, but *could have* seen his memories of creating the Grimwalkers, and thus, he might know about the secret Hunter was trying to keep from them.
Belos yelled "Caleb" , his brother's name, not "kill him". He recognised the palismen Edit: According to Daslan's reply, Dana confirmed that Belos yelled "CALEB!?" on Twitter.
@@thesockoshow2129 yeah, but Hunter was made to look like Caleb, and there’s been a theory for a while that Flapjack was originally Caleb’s palisman. Might also prove that Caleb married a Clawthorne since every clawthorne palisman we’ve seen has been some kind of bird
To address why the draining spell affects Belos, his arms are literally COVERED in glyphs, so he’s sorta made of magic now too. Or at least that’s how I see it.
The titan shows Luz the glyphs but hides them from Belos. I guess since the season 2 poem seems to be about King and it says “his father” it seems confirmed boiling isles titan is king’s dad. I guess it’s King’s dad helping Luz due to her helping King of course, but this show loves to put in little details that foreshadow things like the “Caleb” thing we saw from Flapjack, so I don’t if that will ever come up again.
That makes me happy that the titan isn't completely a corpse and may have some will left, with the whole "Magic is a gift from the island" and how Luz has been finding the glyphs so fast
Just realized, since the titan was dead in the time travel episode, the titan has been dead for likely thousands of years, and that whole time, King was an egg.
i was mortified when the collector started destroying the surroundings, because that was King's father's skull! could you imagine after that episode when the titans head is no longer there and there's an owl house instead of it?? how would king even feel about that?
@@Zoyiekka most titans don’t last longer than probably king did because when they went to the place the letter said they had many skulls around the same size as kings head, also because if that is true, the main titan has to be one of kings parents because the rest probably weren’t old enough or ready for having children at their age while there were big titans like the island one most likely was. ALSO King was born out of a big egg which were bigger than those titan skulls so it might be wrong but I’m pretty sure it’s right.
1:51 as soon as Eda casually ripped her arm off so early in this episode, I *knew* she was going to be able to pull it off to get rid of the sigil. But I guess I never really though about the fact it would be permanent- surprised so few people are talking about that
@@mimikyulover3411 @mimikyu lover yeah i said this in the hd vid of episode 20, God I love the show so much, makes me wish that season 3 having 21 episodes never got cancelled, but hey, 2 hours of The Owl House is pretty exciting to me.
The collector is chaotic neutral, and you can't change my mind. Every single ounce of his actions is only to have fun and while the actions May not always be good, the motivation behind them is always play. Of course this play is like trying to play wrestle with a bear in terms of it's not going to go well for you, but that's not the Bear's fault for being absurdly strong. The collector is stupid strong and is bored, and wants to have fun. If that means helping out someone kill a bunch of witches or reshaping reality or moving the moon like the sky is an iPad than whatever. And in my opinion this makes them way more terrifying and way more of a threat than him being evil. At least if he was evil he would be predictable, being pure chaotic neutral means there's not really any good way to deal with them or know whats going to happen, but there is some room to reason and talk, as long as you are there for fun
The only way you can really beat him, based on his personality, is either to outright kill him or to figure out some kind of system where he’ll have an eternal playmate somewhere where he can’t harm others. Considering Luz was almost powerless against Belos and it took a whole team of witches to simply stall him, it would be difficult for me to believe they can just brute force take down The Collector and will likely need to outwit him instead. Maybe they will discover some sort of huge power boost via King or something? Or maybe Eda and the Owl Beast can be separated and the Owl Beast and Collector can be eternal playmates? The Collector did show up in Eda’s dream that one time, so it would be odd if that little plot point was never explained or resolved.
Yeah honestly it will be cool seeing how they figure out how to defeat him i just hope it doesnt feel rushed because they only have 3 40 minute episodes so f### disney on that but it will still be good
16:50 Eda gave him the collar (she say it to him on the episode where they go to king's castle/isle whatever it is) And he grave the sigil he saw there on the medal So that's why, as lilith said "this appear in no maps" Because it was hidden with this sign
So, i think we're gonna get a small time skip before going back, and when we do, the whole boiling isles will be a giant doll house and everyone will get mind controlled into being the main cast. Remember, he wants to play "owl house" with the whole boiling isles, so we're gonna need a lot of eda's and hooty's, etc etc. Starring the Collector as "luz the human"
Killer theory. Imagine the show opening but with just enough oddities to show stuff isn't right. Seeing Luz and the others potentially looking wrong or have imperfections would be a perfect illustration of this
I would like to point out that it's not really the collector's "human" form, as (I believe it was Kikimora) someone told King "He is neither Witch or Human, he is the Child of the Stars", so The Collector is basically their own species-
i mean yeah no demon witch or human is that powerful it sort of reminds me of the titans they are so similar to other creatures but also their own insanely powerfull thing
fun fact: when luz throws the x of fire at Bellos, she screams "spicy toss" which is an move she has probably learned from Eda since the first time we heard an move called "spicy toss" was in enchanting gromm fright, when eda throws fire at gromm
14:54 I’m pretty sure Belos actually exclaimed “CALAB!”, because he recognises flapjack and his brother’s palismen (Edit) I made this comment as I was watching the video and had not realised the correction was mentioned
Omg, you guys knows that there is CC? For people who have hearing disabilities so that they can read what they are saying. Below says: kill him. Nobody seems to understand that omg
The Owl House is fascinating in how well each mystery is set up. You anticipate every surprise yet that doesn't make it any less satisfying. They put so much effort into letting the audience play along.
It's like Dana dumped a 5000 pc box of puzzle pieces onto us and we're slowly fitting the pieces together as the show goes on. We can see pictures in the puzzle start to form but we're still missing pieces and so finding them and getting the answers becomes all the more fun!
10:30 Belos is now partly made of palismen (which is why he's able to transform into his beast form) and these creatures ARE in fact made of magic soooo
Yeah but it effects Hunter too and we know Hunter can't use magic. Maybe it just kills you either way? It did seem to take longer for Hunters to reach his face like the others.
@@nerdycurls6253 maybe the spell only works if these conditions are met 1- you have a sigil 2-you have some kind of magic "built" into you. For witches it is the bial sack (idk if I spelled it right) and in the case of hunter it is that he's a grimwalker (This is just speculation but I think we will get an explanation from Dana in the near future)
I believe that the draining spell doesn’t just drain the magical bile but also the life force of those with sigils which would explain how the emperors sigil would effect Belos
But then again. Remember how Luz said Belos is barely human anymore? Man has consumed so many palisman that he’s almost made of magic. Which is likely why it can affect him as those palisman are what’s been keeping him alive for 400 years
I understoo "Caleb" but it's interesting how others understood "kill him", that's pretty dark from him to order Hunter to kill his palismen. I like how Hunter holds Gus at the end. They are such bro's
@@hanakasia570 I think you’re allowed to say “kill” on Disney if it’s in a comedic sense. An example I can think of is one episode of Amphibia season 2 where Anne, the Plantars, and Marcy are eating at this Newtopia restaurant, an arrow is shot at them, and Hop Pop says and I quote: “SOMEONE’S TRYING TO *KILL* US!” There’s also “The Beginning of the End” episode in Amphibia where Darcy tells Andrias they need to *kill* Anne. So as long as it’s the end of the series, or it’s used in a comedic manner, you can get away with using the word “kill” on Disney.
Okay. I know this is bad but the Collector's physical form is actually adorable? Also really thought Luz was gonna get stuck in the demon realm again but her and her friends being in the human realm (with a piece of Philip, gross) thanks to King was great. And apparently the Collector has been trapped twice (since the other disk was broken already) so they can put him back but I am worried it will take King dying to do it. (Also Belos recognizing Flapjack is not good).
I think he yelled “CALEB” because flapjack most likely belonged to his brother or had some tie (emphasizing the caleb-clawthorne theory) and since hunter resembles the original caleb it triggered belos
i'm calling it now: belos-goo dropped onto hunter's shoulder and made it through the portal. in the last couple of seconds of the episode - right before the shack door closes - a few drops of green goo hit the door handle and even appear to sentiently shut the door.
The collectior is _terrifing_ . The Idea of a little child, with no emotional control having practically unlimited Power is one of the most frightening I can think of. It reminds me actually of one of the better deas from "Twilight": After Bellas Baby s born, someone mistakes her for a full vampire child, instead of the Vmpire-human hybrid that she is. It turns out that Vampire Children are strictly forbidden, because they do not age , either physically _or_ menatlly. They are known to wipe out whole Villages if their hungry and throwing a temper tantrum can leave serious damage.
Yes, right. He seriously freaked me out. Well, I also really liked the design, idea, and overall the character, but the Collector is more terrifying than some adult villains. He isn't even evil - he just doesn't understand the difference between good and bad, and is crazy powerful. Wonder how the Boiling Isles will end up after some time of his "games"
@@ОлександраЛукянчук-т3в I'm not even sure you can call him a Villain. he is more like a force of nature. I am excited and terrified where this will go
These are my thoughts about the Amphibia easter egg: - This has to take place during Season 3 of Amphibia, as Zeez pointed out, no one knew until then that Anne had gone to a frog ruled dimension. So, either after Anne and the Plantars come to Earth or soon after Frog-Vasion. - I think the information could've gotten out via an FBI leak, maybe to fight against the disinformation campaign post Frog-Vasion? - This I am most certain about: Camila was looking for stories about inter-dimensional travel/magic to try and find clues about where Luz might be. Feel free to use these in any future videos if you want Zeez! EDIT: According to research done on Reddit, thsi episode takes place in September 2022, so a bit over 3 years since Frog-Vasion.
I think Hunters reaction to Belos "dieing" is interesting. It makes me part of his loved Belos, or at least wanted to, I mean Belos was his own parental figure until very recently with Darius.
You can all know as a pov release of this episode gives us true colors in amphibia vibes and we all cried in the end. - fact the part where Camila Noceda is cooking there is news in her ipad picture is Anne Boonchuy where she went missing and news says about frogs.
@@anastasia_852 Ahh True Colors the S tier episode that turned into a B+ tier episode because season 3 didn't acknowledge any of the consequences that happened there. Owl House better not do that as well.
You know, when this show began, I couldn't relate to any of the characters at all. Season 2 fixed that promblem, because Luz, despite her positivity, became the character I relate the most to on this show. The uncertainty regarding her future, the delusions of grandeur, valuing more the fantasies than real life (though I've learned to put them under check)...
You could even say that Belos has those traits! He presumably has no concrete idea of what he’d do if his plan succeeded beyond becoming “Witchfinder General,” which in itself is like a flipped version of Luz’s desire to become a witch. They’ve both wanted to be a heroic figure so bad, they’ve shunned reality, but where Luz learned and grew and started overcoming her flaws, Philip just spiraled out of control.
Theory: One thing people are forgetting is how the Azura books got onto the boiling isles. The demon dude said they washed up somewhere. Meaning there has to be another portal or way to get to the boiling isles
Well if I remember correctly from Phillips journal if titan blood is used in large quantities on a body of water it can create temporary rifts between realms.
yes!!! it's also been hinted at since the very first episode (giraffes)! my theory is that there are tons of little leaks all over the world (probably most common in gravesfield with the wittebane bros statues, golden guard sigil etc) that may not be big or powerful enough for people to get through but will cause small pieces of the boiling isles to make their way into the human realm. i saw someone else theorise that the leaks/portals have something to do with the ocean and bodies of water, like the books washing up and time pools being found on the beach
So they definitely pulled a “True Colors” ending on us. With Luz and the gang being stuck in the human realm. Also all the fan theories about Luz being "possessed" by The Collector is completely thrown in the trash. I didn't expect much. But what's really unexpected is The Collector actually making a full physical appearance in his. I expected an adult form or something but it turns out that The Collector is actually just a kid....with Godlike powers. But seriously The Collector is just a little kid with the appearance and personality of a 9 of 10 year old boy. Also The Collector is OP! The way he flicked Belos/Phillip across the entire room. And then he stopped the day of unity just by simply removing the eclipse from the sun with just his telepathic finger. And I'll say it once again. The Collector can do all this and he is *JUST A KID!* So now that The Collector is free then what exactly is his true motives and goals. Is he evil or does he just want to play games and nothing else. Because if anything I think he'll become good. I don't really have much care for Kikimora but I did feel a little sympathy for her when Belos betrayed her. Just a little bit. Overall this episode was pretty intense. Not too predictable or unpredictable. I'm looking forward to what the gang will do from here on. How are the Boiling Isle group gonna adapt to the human world. Also since Vee is back I want to see more of her.
@@Zikkar ??? It's extremely similar in terms of the ending. The main character goes back to the human realm with some people from the other world? While they leave the otherworld in disarray? I love how these shows mirror each other. And I wouldn't say True Colors is better necessarily, I love what both of these season 2 finales did.
25:05 My head canon is that since the Collector is a child from beyond the stars. They are probably a child of the same or similar species as the Guardian we see in Amphibia's ending. As children, they are obsessed with fun and games just like baby Titans from the Boiling isles like King are obsessed with being Rulers and royalty. Both species have crazy, long lifespans compared to witches and humans as well since the Collector was imprisoned for centuries and is still a child. Because of the Guardian and baby Guardian's prescence, the gateways between different worlds and universes opens in some form. Luz ended up on the Boiling Isle, the only thing is that the Boiling Isle is a land of magic more so than Science and had a door and key as its Gateway, so it was more common and easier for different species to cross over to that world. While somewhere else on Earth, Anne crossed over to Amphibia where the music box acted as a gateway between both worlds. Except the Music box doubled as a test for the older Guardian to select a new successor and transfer their abilities, before closing it since they were retiring.
BELOS TRUE FORM REVEALED!!!! FINALLY!!!! He looks almost IDENTICAL to how the palisman souls looked in "Hollow Mind"! That’s so cool, I loved that design!!
They could, if King was with them. But I don't think they would've had King bleeding everywhere without showing a single drop on him to explain how some of it got onto the gang's clothes to make a portal
It was one of the best season finales I could have seen in many animated series. I feel quite sad about King's sacrifice (I don't die but figuratively I say it) to save his friends, but also quite excited about what I'm thinking could happen in the next and final season. DANA WILL GIVE US A GREAT ENDING TO THE OWL HOUSE!!!! One of the best representatives in animation that Disney could have but that she knew how to value. P.S: Believe it or not, I at the beginning of the second season had made a story where Gus, Willow, Luz, Amity and King ended up on earth with Camila, but unfortunately King is not.
POV: The whole fandom forgot that Dana is Alex Hirsch's friend and Alex once tricked the whole Gravity Falls's fandom with that fake McGucket the author photo
I love this episode so much and the character of Collector was the best thing that ever happened to it! I am so glad you made this video and I am so ready for what you bring to the table next. I seriously can't wait for the 3rd and final season! 💫🌙💫🌙💫
13:07 King skull cracks is starting to resemble the Bonesborough's titan more. I'm starting to think the Bonesborough's titan is actually King, although I really hope is not. My theory is in the future the Collector will start to create chaos everywhere, so King will time travels to the past (probably thousands of years back) using timepools, and trap the past Collector in the disc thingy, but he somehow didn't come back (either the timepools already closed or he chose to stay there willingly). During that time is also probably when he grows as large as what we see in the present, and when he dies is when all the lifeforms evolved. This is also probably the reason why it took Philip a long time to discover the glyphs (King trying to hide them from him), and Luz having the glyphs directly shown to her by nature (King wanting to show her). Also King being able to free the Collector also supports this theory (although it may be because King is a Titan). Since it is possible two same individuals from different times to coexist simultaneously (like how Lilith tripped by her future self's head), this theory is more than possible to be true.
@@mp_paperbag8483 good point, but we don't know if titans reproduce asexually and bill mentioned that a titans offspring behave like monarchs so that would mean our king may just be another generic Titan offspring (nature vs nurture, theres a theory that if you were born somewhere else with different belief systems and customs then it wouldn't really be you even if your parents were the exact same, with the exact sperm among thousands) who keeps learning not to behave like a selfish monarch everytime the paradox resets.
I interpreted the jumpcuts with king was him fading in an out of consciousness, he got a pretty good boinking for a little guy so probably had a pretty bad concussion.
ok, but if kikimora has overheard belos talking to the collector for years, she probably also knew he never intended to give anyone in the boiling isles a free pass to survive. so why in the f* was she so adamant about serving him all this time. that for me kinda didn't make sense in this episode. she should know how much of a dick he is.
Like King said in Hollow Mind, "no wants to believe/told who they were following/what they believe in was lie." Or something like that, point is people don't want to believe they wasted their lives believing the wrong person.
@@kaykay8855 yes, that's one thing. but if you are like 99% certain said person wants to wipe out every magical being (which includes you). clinging to the feeling of oh no. but I already served him for so long becomes kinda meaningless no?
@@unbotheredgenz8404 very feasible, but still those other examples didn't know about the collector that's a big difference. But anyhow great series. Amazing episode. Can't wait for s3
Belos didn't yell out kill him he yelled out caleb, the name flapjack suggested to hunter in any sport in a storm, who u is Phillips brother who seemed to have been flapjacks original friend
I think that Kikimora's "that's where failures end up" doesn't neccesarily mean that she knew about the golden guards. Those who serve Belos were aware how agressive he can be, so grimwalkers probably aren't the only ones who were killed and thrown down there Also I think that Eda lost her hand for real this time, since it qctually turned to dust. She can re-attach hear limbs, not grow new ones
Okay okay okay I just have to say this: I think the contrast between the collector and the rest of the kids is really, really genius. Throughout the series, especially in the third season, Eda’s been talking about how Luz and King are just children and shouldn’t have to carry such weight or be in such danger. Nonetheless, this danger has forced the group to mature, and they’ve gained the ability to make responsible and calculated decisions, exhibited especially by how Luz and King both make hard choices to try to keep everyone safe at the very end of this episode. However, on the opposite end, there’s the collector, who literally has the power to do anything they want but has no maturity to help direct their power appropriately. I really like the idea that there is no ulterior motive behind the collector’s actions and that they are exactly what they seem to be: a kid acting upon childish whim. Because this reality would put them in stark contrast to the main group of kids, who truly think through their decisions. This could also show a weakness for the collector, as while they may have seemingly infinite power at their fingertips, they don’t seem to have the power of foresight, which is something that the rest of the main cast possesses in a great capacity. And this power could eventually help to defeat the collector, beating them at their own game.
The collector said something in "o Titan where art Thou" about how Phillips been eating palisman so much that he can barely maintain his human form (the monster we see him turn into is his default form now). He didn't heal the scar, just moved it somewhere else as to not creep out anyone when he returns to the human realm.
At 16:31, I noticed that although the medallion from King’s dad makes him invisible to the Collector, the collector can still see King’s shadow (you can see king’s shadow where king is standing)
This episode was pretty great! I wasn't sure if the collector's physical form would be them possessing Luz or if it was it's own body but it turned out to be the 2nd. I also find it really interesting that the 4 of Luz's friends are with her on earth now, that'll make for dinner interesting character interactions with Camilla and Vee.
I cried when king said “ Luz I’m glad that I got to have you as my big sister” and eda got her hand cut off permanently damn very surprised Disney let that slide also when ever wolf squealed it was cute and I felt for ever wolf also maybe the witch that Philips brother introduces to Philip might have had flapjack as her palicemen
I love the collector because their crazy doesn't feel like "I've gone mad with power feel my wrath!" sort of crazy. It feels like they're just a id who doesn't understand that using their infinite power to change the world is bad. Like, they have had this power for as long as they have existed and they just don't understand that that's something they shouldn't do. They never grew up and they never got taught that sense of right and wrong. They just feel very childish in their action and motivations and how casual they are about all of this. They really are an amazing character, it's great.
I’m pretty sure that the collector is making his own utopia for the game (THE OWL HOUSE) out of that dimension’s resources and I think the boiling Isles is going to look way different and may be looking like a board game And I can’t wait for season 3!
Collector luz can still happen folks. I don't think anyone can really get rid of him permanently, and he seems like he'd be pretty easy to trick into her
I cried so hard at the end, but once it cut to Camila and I saw the amphibia reference I was just like, wait! You can’t make me smile I’m dying here. But yeah. Incredible episode. Now for the next couple of weeks I’ll be dying. 🥲Also as always love the video
The amphibia thing makes me question the cartoon multiverse now is gravity falls Rick and Morty amphibia Star vs and inside job in the same universe with the owl house
I think the reason why belos can be affected by the draining spell, is because he is using magic to look himself look "human" but because of the draining spell, his magic is drained and shows his real form.
"Which is kind of weird since Belos doesn't have magic" but he does, it just so happens to be the same magic that he's been using to extend his life and keep himself in human shape, full body glyph and all that.
In to say this before the hiatus: Can I just say that it's amazing that Willow is matched with the only person who appears to have been GROWN OUT OF THE GROUND LIKE A PLANT?!?!? That is all.
As chaotic (and adorable) as he is, I feel like the Collector will be more of a Chaotic neutral character in the next season and that Belos will still be a secretive goopy antagonist who is forever a butt to everyone
I hope belos gets a pathetic ending, making him look as the danger he made the character feel is nothing more than a joke now On the other hand Yeah, it definitely look like the collector has no sense of morality, but also mortality they would ally with anyone willing to be their friend/play with them And he doesn't realize how crazy strong he is and how much of a threat he feels to other
There's definitely gonna be a s3 since in edas dream collector was there trying to capture eda so yeah there's def gonna be a s3 it seems to be that eda escaped from collector
Belos is personification of albeit New England Puritan ideology i.e., realism in the extreme, while the Collector is the mirror opposite of escapism in the extreme.
This man the collector tapped below and one shoted him crazy, and when this man swiped the sun ngl I bet kings gonna ask the collector for something like a portal to luz and I think the collector might have at least one more
Honestly that weird palismen thing with Belos could be a curse that was cast on him. He just needs palismen to contain the curse, like Eda did when her's wasn't split, she had to use elixirs to contain her curse.
Exciting finale! There are still a good number of plot threads open that will (hopefully) see a conclusion in the special episodes. * Belos is possibly still alive and now in the human realm (carried on Hunter's back) * Luz's palisman was never hatched/revealed * What's going to happen to King, the Boiling Isles, and everyone there? * Assuming the Boiling Isles inhabitants survive, how are they going to deal with a freed Collector that has godlike powers?
I hope they dedicate at least 30 minutes to the gang interacting with Camilla and Vee (especially Camilla meeting Amity). But i understand if not. They only have 2 hours of screentime to begin with.
This episode was so well done 10/10 everything for me felt like a breeze I wasn’t shock for most of the parts because you can tell what happens because of all the foreshadowing but either way you got to give Dana some prop it wasn’t rushed it felt like I need more I want it plz give me more I need to know what happened to my guy hooty😭dam wish we had another 20 adventures but this finale was great True colors 2.0 and the picture of anne at the end I’m guessing that would of happen after the hardest thing or in Escape to Amphibia
This Episode gave me lots of True Colors vibes. Very Great season finale, Great Pasting and the Collector is just so- BAD BUT AWSOME!! That ending scene gave me Deja Vu of Amphibia 0_0 I'm scared for "season 3".
The bit that surprised me was Belos's supposed reason for the draining spell. I assumed he needed the draining spell to power some other spell, like he needed it to free the collector, or merge the dimensions, something. But nope he basically just spent 50 years prepping to genocide the whole boiling isles before peacing out back to Earth.
Yah that's strange. He could've easily went to human relam but as I guess he always wanted to use magic like witches did so he got envious of Caleb and killed him.He gone even fether by making him self use magic in wrong way which lead him to the form he got now.
14:38 I think for a few seconds gus triggered belos with those memories into thinking hunter is actually caleb (he did say he looks the most like him) which is why he sounded so desperate(or he could be acting i can't tell). With this interaction and seeing the palisman ( 14:56 ) he yells caleb and tried to kill him ( this could be what exactly happened between belos and caleb before he died)
It definitely sounded like Belos was saying "Caleb?!" before freaking out again. 😵 No doubt seeing Flapjack triggered him. He HAD to be Caleb's palisman.
14:57 You made a mistake, Belos/Philip doesn't say "Kill Him!", he says "Caleb!" with I take as further evidence to Caleb not only being the name of the original Hunter aka Philip's Brother but also that they had the exact same palisman or that seeing him with a palisman reminded him of Caleb
Belos said Caleb. I feel like the Collector will treat King like a dog. It's been remarked a lot how people think he's a dog or a pet. Including Boscha when she wanted to buy King in season 1. That weird couple in that swapping episode wanted to own King (Eda as him). King also has a necklace that looks like a collar. I also think The Owl House will be like a horror house like in Knock Knockin' On Hooty's Door or something. He had no problems with mass genocide, so I wonder if he'll make the Isles play to exhaustion until dead. Or he'll make them play lethal games. King may be telling the Collector the "rules" so he'll try to make it as safe as possible. However, I get the feeling that The Collector likes taking liberties since he immediately made an Owl House.
8:51 Right here on his wrist you can see a portion of the glyph he carved into himself glowing as he uses his red telekinesis power thing. I wander if the glyphs he carved into himself is the source of his telekinesis power.
I assume why the sigil affects belos is due to his palisman's form. Since it needed the souls of the palisman, it probably gave him a type of magic in his body
Thoughts and theory’s I conjured up *WHERE DID FLAP JACK GO???? Also all the other palacemen?? When belos saw flap Jack I thought he said “kill him” but I rewatched it and he says “Kaleb”.. which makes me think maybe grim walkers can remember things from there previous/ original life? Or maybe flap jack whispered the name to him. *What’s going to happen to the lil bit of belos goop that dripped onto Hunter??? *Who has luzs egg right now? I hope it dosent hatch all alone *There must be way more grim walkers belos made… that was a whole lotta bones 0-0 *Hooties eyes when he was captured in the bubble:( *We know Hunter knows how to construct a portal door kinda but there’s no titan blood to do so nor magic lol.. then agian the collector can probably snap his fingers and bring everyone back to the isles yknow *I wonder if there might be a time skip in the 3 specials I can’t imagine them being able to get back to each other so quickly.. I feel like the boiling isles is going to look really different when we see it again.. *Could it be a titans life purpose to capture the collector and then… die? *It makes sense now why the mirror thing that released the collector was broken in the the other place filled with the titan hunters. In the Owl beast flashback we see that the titan in the background is completely bone.. so I wonder if the titan in the other place did the same thing and sealed him away so when he was released he formed the titan hunters so he wouldn’t be able to be sealed away again maybe? Until the boiling isle titan came along. *Maybe the collector gave the titan hunters the ability to go to different words to just kill titans since no one on the boiling isle we know of has been able to do so. *Also the owl beast is from that different world but but the scroll washed up onto the shore in the boiling isles… hmm. *Also could the collector be free in multiple places at once, he is super powerful.. so dose he have a bunch of places to wreck havoc to? Ok that’s all I got right now I’ll probably think of so many more questions later though ahhahah
I'm pretty certain Caleb (the blond man in the Philip's memories) was Flapjack's original owner and possibly it's carver. You can see a Cardinal in the old picture. Furthermore, back when Hunter tried to recrute students from Hexside as the Golden Guard, he used the name Caleb as a cover up. Flapjack instantly chirped this name to him. This is why Hunter can understand his Palisman so well.
@@Goikuchan yes! I totally agree, maybe Caleb and his wife (I assume) carved their palacemen together and when Caleb was killed by Phillip flap Jack was separated from the clawthorne family and the yellow cardinal got passed down in the family to edas father eventually!!
Also here’s this ruclips.net/video/qh5dkttpxi0/видео.html flap Jack won’t tell him who his og owner used to be which… why?? I feel like flap Jack could have explain things like belos is straight up evil and hahaha killed my owner which p.s your a grim walker of him hahaha crazy right hunter?? lol
I think Flapjack was Caleb’s Palisman. Which is why when he saw that Palisman specifically, he said the name Caleb. It would make sense why Flapjack was wanting to leave the Palisman group because he sensed that Caleb’s clone was out there and wanted to leave. Plus when Philip and Caleb fought, it would make sense if Flapjack got that scar during the fight, and then Flapjack was then taken in by Bat Queen and waiting for the next person or waiting for Caleb’s clone to come to him.
After this episode, I want that season 3 and 4 even more! Disney literally did Dana in the crew so dirty, I think that they’re gonna pull through and work with what they got, but I really wish we could’ve seen their whole vision come to life
You know. One question keeps coming to mind to why he's called The Collector. But I think I got an idea now, and it makes him all the more scarier. I think he collects magic. All kinds of spells and abilities. Like a magic All for One.
Really getting the feeling either the collector is going to end up in the human realm and become powerless (or at least manageable), or that the collector might be only 'partly' here, given all the imagry of previous seasons had shown very different forms of him. Like maybe, this is a halfmoon of the ego of the collector, where its all his wants and desires in one body, and somewhere else on the isle his Id, or logic was stored but released earlier on by the titan hunters. It'd be more in line with what the collector managed to do, since we saw the Collector trapping the owl beast in a scroll and then that scroll ending up in Liliths hands at the market. Maybe like ying and yang, both sides of a theoretical twin collector have just a bit of each other but need each other to become a 'full moon'? That being said, the collector comes across as someone unaware of responsiblity associated with their godlike strength. King and Eda might take us by surprise by tricking the collector into becoming a good hearted kid or into learning restraint and why it is important... hmm... I do think the human realm will be instrumental in a confrontational defeat though with how it has seemingly very little capacity for magic might be useful, might not. Collector might turn his eye on the human realm only to bite off more than he can chew after growing bored of the boiling isles (which would save the whole king needing to build a third door idea.) Though I guess if king can enter the realm between in his sleep, he might still be able to communicate with Luz and the gang on earth via the same way Luz discovered Vee impersonating her. I do feel like we all forgot about the Titan's heart still beating though back when Belos was claiming the ability to hear the titans will. Wonder what the collector is going to do with that, or if the Titan that is the boiling isles will return for a final third sealing of the collector. If they want to go with sheer awe and spectacle, they could try to 'one up' the collector by raising the Titan as a grimwalker, albeit it'd probably be on the same scale of magic requirement as the draining spell? That'd be neat and might cause a touching moment between king and his (probably confused to whats going on) dad as well. Though the grimwalker thing really requires an explaination to how they're made to begin with, which probably means more Trauma for Hunter. Poor boy.
now im glad i came in the show blind and basically never saw any of these streams because yes seeing the collector was very Surprising and i re watched that scene a few times
I think the symbol that King drew on the collar is what was hiding him, I don’t think it was the collar, because in Echoes of the Past, Eda said she got King the collar and King put the symbol on it at the end of that episode. Also the symbol was all over the Tower where Eda found King, so maybe it’s some ancient protection symbol
This episode was crazy. The collector . . . Idk how I feel about them. Eda and Raine… AGGGGHHH Also King’s sacrifice broke me. I was crying so dang hard!!! This was kinda emotionally traumatic and I’m eager to see what happens I started watching this show about a month ago and now I’m so emotionally invested! This has been really good and im excited and nervous to see what happens next!
Once king showed up before the collector could do anything to hes friends he wasn't angry or anything but exclaimed happily "King!😀" and he just seem so happy to finally have a friend and i don't know it was just really nice to see that it was a cute little scene
Before you comment about Belos saying "Caleb" not "Kill him", please watch another 30 seconds...
Other Corrections (please read before commenting):
- People are commenting that I missed the post-credits scene, I didn't. (22:54)
- Eda's arm disintegrated (18:57), so she's not getting it back. I missed that somehow.
- I also said that King's collar was given to him by his Father by mistake. Eda gave it to him, but he carved the symbol from his island on it, which is probably what made him invisible.
Was gonna comment that, good thing that I refreshed the comments and saw this lol
I was gonna comment that too, that palasmen theory seems like it gonna be canon

But still, he definitely say "Kaleb"
Yeah I can definitely hear both
So zeez i know wheres luzs palismen its in her backpack u will tell me i dont know that well guys trust me it is true because why would luz leave her palismen so she think if shes in the human realm so trust meh

He's kinda like Bill. The difference is he's more of a child while Bill is straight-up evil, morbid, and a trickster.
The collector might be defeated by being stripped of his reality bending powers

Kikimora described The Collector as a "Child of the Stars", so maybe there are others like him, with whom he can play forever? Even if he ends up staying in the Boiling Isles (supposing he's not resealed or destroyed), I can easily imagine him becoming a force of good or at least a harmless trickster, if someone agrees to befriend/raise him.
Belos yelled "Caleb" , his brother's name, not "kill him". He recognised the palismen

DONT DISRESPECT THE DEAD BOI
King got a crack in his skull this episode! They would match!
i don't think it was his father, it's probably just another titan but yea pretty scary

Maybe because we're used to seeing her just casually pull limbs off by this point.
Also the foreshadowing with taking of her head as Raine. I really hope they didn't die, but it makes so much sense that they did. Oof.

Who needs both arms when you have wings?
We’re used to this after what happened to Grime in amphibia
THATS WHAT I THOUGHT
He isn't malicious, he lacks the capacity to understand the consequences he has on others. Honestly scarier, since there is NO way to reason with him.
@@ethanhinton4549 that'd what I thought
Yeah honestly it will be cool seeing how they figure out how to defeat him i just hope it doesnt feel rushed because they only have 3 40 minute episodes so f### disney on that but it will still be good

Eda gave him the collar (she say it to him on the episode where they go to king's castle/isle whatever it is)
And he grave the sigil he saw there on the medal
So that's why, as lilith said "this appear in no maps"
Because it was hidden with this sign
So, i think we're gonna get a small time skip before going back, and when we do, the whole boiling isles will be a giant doll house and everyone will get mind controlled into being the main cast. Remember, he wants to play "owl house" with the whole boiling isles, so we're gonna need a lot of eda's and hooty's, etc etc. Starring the Collector as "luz the human"
Which is probably why luz and the collector look similar its all coming together!!
Every part of the boiling isles is a recreation of one of the episodes.

There’s also “The Beginning of the End” episode in Amphibia where Darcy tells Andrias they need to *kill* Anne.
So as long as it’s the end of the series, or it’s used in a comedic manner, you can get away with using the word “kill” on Disney.

Okay. I know this is bad but the Collector's physical form is actually adorable?
These are my thoughts about the Amphibia easter egg:
- This has to take place during Season 3 of Amphibia, as Zeez pointed out, no one knew until then that Anne had gone to a frog ruled dimension.

OMG same I can (now) relate to Luz so much
You could even say that Belos has those traits! He presumably has no concrete idea of what he’d do if his plan succeeded beyond becoming “Witchfinder General,” which in itself is like a flipped version of Luz’s desire to become a witch. They’ve both wanted to be a heroic figure so bad, they’ve shunned reality, but where Luz learned and grew and started overcoming her flaws, Philip just spiraled out of control.

yes!!! it's also been hinted at since the very first episode (giraffes)! my theory is that there are tons of little leaks all over the world (probably most common in gravesfield with the wittebane bros statues, golden guard sigil etc) that may not be big or powerful enough for people to get through but will cause small pieces of the boiling isles to make their way into the human realm. i saw someone else theorise that the leaks/portals have something to do with the ocean and bodies of water, like the books washing up and time pools being found on the beach
The Collector can do all this and he is *JUST A KID!*
So now that The Collector is free then what exactly is his true motives and goals.
I predicted that Luz WONT get possessed by The Collector since that fanart was revealed.
Not like True Colors at all. TC is soooo much better anyway
10:33 Hunter doesn't have magic either yet it was severely affecting him so I wasn't really suprised considering he does have those palisman powers.
Hunter is a grimwalker, a being made by magic, so that’s why I assumed he was affected by it
25:05 My head canon is that since the Collector is a child from beyond the stars.
I think they can just use king's blood to make a make shift portal again but I think camila would stop luz from leaving cause she promised.
They could, if King was with them. But I don't think they would've had King bleeding everywhere without showing a single drop on him to explain how some of it got onto the gang's clothes to make a portal
@@xpandorasboxx didn't Hooty take a DNA sample from King earlier in the series? Maybe it's blood and they can use that lol
I think that part of Belos that came thru and Vee are going to be the way back.
You're a witch!!
SEASON FINAL???
POV: The whole fandom forgot that Dana is Alex Hirsch's friend and Alex once tricked the whole Gravity Falls's fandom with that fake McGucket the author photo
Belos yelling 'Caleb' when he sees hunter carrying Flapjack confirms the theory that he was Caleb's Palisman.
10:33 the palismen and sigil tattoos gave him weird magic so it probably changed his body too
I love this episode so much and the character of Collector was the best thing that ever happened to it!
That would mean king created a paradox for himself just so that thousands of life forms can can be born and have a home.
But how does King be born then? I mean he came from an eggs, so he basically duplicates himself?
@@mp_paperbag8483 good point, but we don't know if titans reproduce asexually and bill mentioned that a titans offspring behave like monarchs so that would mean our king may just be another generic Titan offspring (nature vs nurture, theres a theory that if you were born somewhere else with different belief systems and customs then it wouldn't really be you even if your parents were the exact same, with the exact sperm among thousands) who keeps learning not to behave like a selfish monarch everytime the paradox resets.
Just wanna say I PREDICTED Willow, Hunter, Gus and Amity being in the human realm at the end of the episode 😁
I'm so happy about that!
Same
i altso felt like that was gonna happen
Same, but i was thinking on King using his roar to create a rift between worlds
I interpreted the jumpcuts with king was him fading in an out of consciousness, he got a pretty good boinking for a little guy so probably had a pretty bad concussion.
I still can't get over it.. I need more on caleb now.. I wanna know about the palisman!! I wanna see caleb being animated and his voice
ok, but if kikimora has overheard belos talking to the collector for years, she probably also knew he never intended to give anyone in the boiling isles a free pass to survive. so why in the f* was she so adamant about serving him all this time. that for me kinda didn't make sense in this episode. she should know how much of a dick he is.
She probably thought that she won't be affected. Just like Odalia and Terra thought.
Those who serve Belos were aware how agressive he can be, so grimwalkers probably aren't the only ones who were killed and thrown down there
Also I think that Eda lost her hand for real this time, since it qctually turned to dust. She can re-attach hear limbs, not grow new ones
The collector is a character that is hard to hate.
Okay okay okay I just have to say this:
I think the contrast between the collector and the rest of the kids is really, really genius.
5:05 he is either healing himself temporarily or it’s an illusion
I’m pretty sure that the collector is making his own utopia for the game (THE OWL HOUSE) out of that dimension’s resources and I think the boiling
Isles is going to look way different and may be looking like a board game
And I can’t wait for season 3!
🥲Also as always love the video
will season 3 come out next week?
Amphibia cameo and also humor sneaking on the series
@@OctoHedgy no it comes out in the fall and its not even a real season its just 3 40 minute episodes
@@huhhuh7495 yeah I know about the 3 episodes bs but fall? how am I supposed to survive till that 😭
The amphibia thing makes me question the cartoon multiverse now is gravity falls Rick and Morty amphibia Star vs and inside job in the same universe with the owl house
I dont know if anyone has ever mentioned it, but you do such good voice impressions! Like your terra and kikimora impressions are unironically so good
I think the reason why belos can be affected by the draining spell, is because he is using magic to look himself look "human" but because of the draining spell, his magic is drained and shows his real form.
"Which is kind of weird since Belos doesn't have magic" but he does, it just so happens to be the same magic that he's been using to extend his life and keep himself in human shape, full body glyph and all that.
In to say this before the hiatus:
Can I just say that it's amazing that Willow is matched with the only person who appears to have been GROWN OUT OF THE GROUND LIKE A PLANT?!?!? That is all.
Belos does have magic. The palismen he's been consuming affected his biology, giving him the powers which is magic.
As chaotic (and adorable) as he is, I feel like the Collector will be more of a Chaotic neutral character in the next season and that Belos will still be a secretive goopy antagonist who is forever a butt to everyone
I hope belos gets a pathetic ending, making him look as the danger he made the character feel is nothing more than a joke now
On the other hand
Yeah, it definitely look like the collector has no sense of morality, but also mortality
they would ally with anyone willing to be their friend/play with them
And he doesn't realize how crazy strong he is and how much of a threat he feels to other
Goofy against Goopy then I guess 😆
There's definitely gonna be a s3 since in edas dream collector was there trying to capture eda so yeah there's def gonna be a s3 it seems to be that eda escaped from collector
It wasn’t so much Eda as it was the owl beast
I think the draining spell absorbs more than just magic maybe you're life essence, either that or it reacted because of the talismans he's absorbed
Belos is personification of albeit New England Puritan ideology i.e., realism in the extreme, while the Collector is the mirror opposite of escapism in the extreme.
Oh! That’s really interesting.
* Belos is possibly still alive and now in the human realm (carried on Hunter's back)
* Luz's palisman was never hatched/revealed
* What's going to happen to King, the Boiling Isles, and everyone there?
* Assuming the Boiling Isles inhabitants survive, how are they going to deal with a freed Collector that has godlike powers?
* Oh, and we also still need to know who the mole was in the rebels.
I hope they dedicate at least 30 minutes to the gang interacting with Camilla and Vee (especially Camilla meeting Amity). But i understand if not. They only have 2 hours of screentime to begin with.
Can we appreciate how hunter had his arm around gus in the end of the eppisode
I'm not sure if anyone noticed but-I love how this episode's credits echo the ending of 'Agony of a Witch'! that was SUCH a clever detail.
This episode scared me, literally TC 2.0 but it's great! The collector is great
yo eli i found a comment from u btw its me(''its ya boi sprig'') from discord
14:38 I think for a few seconds gus triggered belos with those memories into thinking hunter is actually caleb (he did say he looks the most like him) which is why he sounded so desperate(or he could be acting i can't tell). With this interaction and seeing the palisman ( 14:56 ) he yells caleb and tried to kill him ( this could be what exactly happened between belos and caleb before he died)
Fun fact: witch hunter general was an actual title back in the witch hunting days
It definitely sounded like Belos was saying "Caleb?!" before freaking out again. 😵
No doubt seeing Flapjack triggered him.
Should have waited another 30 secs lol
The caption says "Kill Him!" on the TV release so like lol
@@CatholicPiccolo the caption is not always right. Also you can easily hear "b" there
Belos said Caleb.
The collector is literally in creative mode. A 5 years old with real life creative mode is terrifying.
8:51 Right here on his wrist you can see a portion of the glyph he carved into himself glowing as he uses his red telekinesis power thing.
I wander if the glyphs he carved into himself is the source of his telekinesis power.
The Owl House is really great because all of the main characters want to sacrifice themselves to protect the ones they love insanely 😭
Well, at least Camila has the whole story this time. She's staring right at it!
I assume why the sigil affects belos is due to his palisman's form. Since it needed the souls of the palisman, it probably gave him a type of magic in his body
It occurs to me now that Vee has magic aside from the cards because of magic people there now. Also hype for season 3 increased
Only difference is amphibia ACTUALLY gets a (full) s3 :’)
12:30 that’s a concussion, the crack on his skull when he fell
Thoughts and theory’s I conjured up
*WHERE DID FLAP JACK GO???? Also all the other palacemen?? When belos saw flap Jack I thought he said “kill him” but I rewatched it and he says “Kaleb”.. which makes me think maybe grim walkers can remember things from there previous/ original life? Or maybe flap jack whispered the name to him.
*What’s going to happen to the lil bit of belos goop that dripped onto Hunter???
*Who has luzs egg right now? I hope it dosent hatch all alone
*There must be way more grim walkers belos made… that was a whole lotta bones 0-0
*Hooties eyes when he was captured in the bubble:(
*We know Hunter knows how to construct a portal door kinda but there’s no titan blood to do so nor magic lol.. then agian the collector can probably snap his fingers and bring everyone back to the isles yknow
*I wonder if there might be a time skip in the 3 specials I can’t imagine them being able to get back to each other so quickly..
Also the fact that the collector was creating the “owl house” with the skull of the titan.. it’s kinda eerie
I feel like flap Jack could have explain things like belos is straight up evil and hahaha killed my owner which p.s your a grim walker of him hahaha crazy right hunter?? lol
I hope Belos becomes a mini belos
I think Flapjack was Caleb’s Palisman. Which is why when he saw that Palisman specifically, he said the name Caleb. It would make sense why Flapjack was wanting to leave the Palisman group because he sensed that Caleb’s clone was out there and wanted to leave. Plus when Philip and Caleb fought, it would make sense if Flapjack got that scar during the fight, and then Flapjack was then taken in by Bat Queen and waiting for the next person or waiting for Caleb’s clone to come to him.
the ending was just true colours 2.0 and man I really liked the collector this episode.
Poor boy.
yea finally
thx for uploading so soon zeez!
love your videos
now im glad i came in the show blind and basically never saw any of these streams because yes seeing the collector was very Surprising and i re watched that scene a few times
i was literally in tears watching those final scenes
I think the symbol that King drew on the collar is what was hiding him, I don’t think it was the collar, because in Echoes of the Past, Eda said she got King the collar and King put the symbol on it at the end of that episode. Also the symbol was all over the Tower where Eda found King, so maybe it’s some ancient protection symbol
This episode was crazy. The collector . . . Idk how I feel about them. Eda and Raine… AGGGGHHH Also King’s sacrifice broke me. I was crying so dang hard!!! This was kinda emotionally traumatic and I’m eager to see what happens
I started watching this show about a month ago and now I’m so emotionally invested!
