I feel like the Titan prefers Luz not only bc she respects the boiling Isles but also is King’s adopted big sister. Look at Eda, she was able to find King bc the titan trusts her
Which would explain why the titan chose caleb over Philip. He embraced the isle, carved his own palisman and everything.

I don't think the titan 'prefers' anything... I've been kind of theorizing that all that about the titan talking to belos was a cover for him talking to the collector.. I think the only genuinely and remotely alive titan is king, the others are just bodies that witches and demons live on. But of course, Luz will always have kings favour ❤

My man literally just was like: Anyways I started swinging. Such a chad, appears in season 1 for a quick cameo before we even knew about the coven heads, fights head on with only a hammer, and took bites from flesh eating beetles like a champ.

ngl i feel like some people were traumitized from this show, like the way he was off-camera screaming as those ants consumed him.
I find it sad that flapjack never wanted another owner unless it was caleb. Which would show the bond they had after caleb's passing. Plus explain the comment from the bat queen that said that flapjack finally found someone after so long, like around 200 years after his creation

@@joto5459 Well, Hunter managed to hide Flapjack, without Belos suspecting, and only found the palisman when Hunter confronted him directly, so if he was ever confronted by another Grimwalker, they may have hidden Flapkack, and it's even possible that the scar on his eye was an attack by Belo while escaping from him.
Respect to Hunter fighting while affected by the draining spell
he didn't look as bad as the others tho. i wonder if that's because he has no magic, he's just made by magic

@@stardust2841 the draining spell was supposed to affect everyone with a sigil. i don't think belos would over look witches not being physically at the day of unity, he would want the spell once activated to affect everyone equally at once
@@whitemoonwolf13 I know. But there wanst the magic leaving in witches that were outside the sphere. Personally, I think the coven heads were the most affected, followed by the other witches in the circle and the withces outside were the least affected. Of course everyone with a sigil was affected, but it seemed like the intensities differ. And I am not saying its was bellos choise. I think it had to do with the proximity of the spell

About Eda becoming a representation for amputee/disabled community... Remember her father, who'd lost his arm (kind of; it's still intact, but disabled) and his eye? With her heterochromia and an arm being torn out Eda started to resemble him.
Also, even before being an amputee, her curse sort of represented some chronic illness or disability, which severely impaired her at times, but with which she learnt to deal, and which still didn't prevent her from being as great of a witch as she was
I really hope they have some time for some goofy shenanigans in the human world, I know season 3 is short but I really wanna see a beach episode
They already narked on the fact, they don't have time for 20 more adventures. So I doubt we'll get a beach episode.
yeah, I hope that season 3 well have them going over the town and looking for clues to get home, my bets they see the statue and someone breaks down(probably Luz), and that when they go to the zoo everyone freaks out

Remember the collector is like a child. They don’t understand things like “hey that’s a baby you can’t just ‘play’ with it like you would a grown up.” And they think of Kings dad as a bully. Not necessarily an enemy. But someone who caused them some kind of harm (with the collectors mind probably they were being tough parent figure and wouldn’t let the collector do what they wanted) even when king was going to leave with Luz the collector sounded more hurt/ temper tantrum than malicious. If the collector has anything going for them (with the exception of Belos who broke their promise) he takes his promises VERY SERIOUSLY. Going as far as saying not wanting to associate with fibbers.(those who break their promises). Meaning they probably take people at face value a lot. Again much like a child. Honestly I love their character and just hope maybe King manipulates the collector into being peaceful if anything
In fact, if someone ever teaches The Collector the grand game of "Civilization" (The real life version, not Sid Meier's simulation) he could become an active force for good. I don't know about you, but I love building cities/nations/interstellar empires, and if The Collector caught that same bug he'd likely spend the rest of eternity building dyson spheres, ringworlds, and all sorts of other crazy megastructures for his "players" to use and live on.
@@Quantumironturtle His attention span seems very limited, I doubt he's the kind of person to play the same game for very long. If you taught him civilization he'd probably flood the city after a month just to see what happens.
@@Mediados That's where the brilliance of Civilization comes in, because it's not just one game. It's dozens, hundreds of games, all woven together and working in sync. If you get bored with playing one part of the game, just switch to another.
Besides, even if this doesn't work forever, it will keep him busy for a while in a nondestructive manner, and that buys time to think up a better solution.
Solution: Play hide and seek with him! He hides while you all 'seek' which gives time to some people to make a plan to catch the Collector.
I have a feeling they won't be a villain more of a misunderstood character who has more power then they know what to do with they just want to be a kid because for all we know they do age but it's slowed down in when you give a child power they don't understand or know what to do with it
Been waiting to see your thoughts on the collector, Belos, Luz, Hunter, Caleb etc. So many things happened in this episode that it was just mind-blowing. Sad that Disney is cutting it short and will end soon. First Amphibia's finale and now The Owl House'. I hope that we at least get a book or something.

We went from the policemen in Gravity Falls only being able to be shown as a couple in the last episode of the series to having an interracial sapphic relationship between two teenagers in a couple of years. So we shouldn't stop it. We should shame Disney and make them responsible for their queerphobia while pushing to have more diverse characters (and not just talking about the LGBTQ+ community, but also about neurodiversity, disabilities, ethnicity... Like, when was the last time an eastern Asian person was the protagonist of a western animated series?)

I don't think the titan lied about anything, he just sealed the collector away because they were dangerous and didn't care about the harm they were causing. The fact that they called the titan a bully shows how completely delusional and immature they are despite being around since forever.
What if "as below, his father lies" could also read, "as 'Belos', his father lies," referring to Hunter and his relationship with Philip?

@@mullinsmith3707 That could maybe be in reference to Caleb to an extent. We know he was most likely a witch hunter at the start but then changed his mind. Maybe could be Hunter himself bc his goals changed

So perhaps it could read that Hunter no longer simply thinks of his uncle as a king/Emperor--or in the Imperialist Coven System under Belos. Now, he sees the truth of his Ortet's brother and the life Witches can experience embracing Wild Magic. Four or five people he's met at Hexside (Viney, Gerbo, Edric, Emira, and Barkus) are Wild Witches in-training, after all.
Or I'm reading too much into it. That's always possible.
*Edit*: Lost my train of thought. What I meant was that included-but-not-limited-to conscious thought, Hunter knows in his heart, his unconscious, his "dreams" about Philip's true nature. The whole experience in Hollow Mind probably altered the sweet nerd's own mindscape.
Yeah, plus along with what Whitney pointed out of The Collector chasing supposedly King’s egg, it could’ve been a mixture of “You’re too immature and dangerous to have those powers/ I won’t let you hurt my son!“ Though I think they weren’t trying to hurt King on purpose, as they stated “I always wanted to play with you!” Meaning that King’s dad wouldn’t let them do so because of King still being in a egg at that time and the Collector not being able to control their power to well not kill a person.
When King heard his father cry out to him, it was most likely “Goodbye, my son" meaning that moments after he sealed the Collector at the cost of his life, he wanted to say goodbye to his son.
As for the multiple mirrors, I believe that the Collector had means of being contacted through multiple mirrors, the Titan hunters had their own mirror to the Collector, but maybe the real reason they hunted Titans is because the Collector needed them to get a Titan to free him. But during a capture, a Titan managed to break the mirror then as a result, the Titan Trappers became a Titan Hunters, to kill the Titans from taking away their means of talking to their god.
I'd love to see King become the Fluttershy to the Collector's Discord. But there's one heck of a journey ahead before that can happen. But my foremost wish for season 3 is seeing Gus meet a giraffe.

@@_SnailDust_ Actually, that was never confirmed. I was referring to the fact that Fluttershy is Discord's morality pet. The single easiest way to get Discord to do or not do something is to involve Fluttershy.

I feel like having the Hexside gang around will help Camilla understand why Luz stayed in the Demon Realm. She might not even be against Luz going back anymore, because now there's a bunch of parents worring about their kids the same way she worried about Luz after 'Yesterday's Lie.'
Still, it would be responsible for Luz to keep her promise after it's all over. That'd be part of growing up and learning how to balance out reality and fantasy. It worked for Marcy Wu and Mabel Pines, so it should work for Luz as well.

@@davidwallgren7575 Luz was forced to give that promise, it's not fair. They didn't have enough time to discuss anything. Camila can understand how Demon Realm even if dangerous, let her daughter finally be happy, have friends who love her, have people who get her, have something Luz loves to do and good at it(magic). It would be cruel to take everything away from her.
@@davidwallgren7575 It wouldn't make sense. Anne didn't have a problem with Human world, she didn't choose to live in Amphibia. Luz didn't want to get stranded in Demon Realm, but given a chance she would rather be there. She just doesn't want to be cut away from her mom, the only thing Luz cares about from Human World.
king is the only one of the three that hasn't made a sacrifice, so it makes sense that he blasted luz and the others into to the portal
The season 2 finale was such an epic episode! i'm glad that the day of unity has been stopped and Belos has finally been defeated, although i hope mostly everyone that was worse effected by the draining spell turns out alright and i'm amazed with the Collector's power i mean the fact that he was able to literally move the moon means that he's basically a god, but at least the Collector isn't really evil so much as he's just a misguided kid who doesn't know the difference between right and wrong, but i have no doubt that King and Eda will show him the way.
And as for Luz and friends, i'm happy that the managed to make it to the human realm and i can't wait to see how they'll adapt to life there until Eda and King find a way to bring them all back to the Boiling Isles.
I wonder how does the Titan trapped The Collector in this artifact. Obviously it has something with the "hide and seek" game and kings dad tried to protect him with the amulett and so on. Maybe he made did it in exchange for his life? I already wondered how the titan actually died.

The collar that King has was given to him by Eda I think and the symbol carved into it was made by King himself thinking it was his name since he saw it in his room. It was meant to hide him from the Collector
belos' monster form reminds me of a wendigo, a creature curse with insatiable hunger for eating human flesh (though magic in this case)
That actually seems to be spot on based on drawings of them, good point!
Don't forget one of the main forces that creates/drives a Wendigo is hatred, so given Belos' Witch Hunter origin it fits even more.

I can't wait for all of them to interact with Camila, especially Amity and Hunter because they need a loving parent. But all of them need someone because they are trapped in a unfamiliar world and can't get home at the moment.

Ok 2 Things 1. When Belos/Philip saw Flapjack and said Caleb that means Flapjack was Caleb Palisman and that means Caleb made Flapjack and 2. That was Anne Boonchuy on the iPad.

@@Pizza-gremlin Actually, all of those take place in the same universe as Gravity Falls, which happens to also be connected to Rick and Morty so.... Rick could technically meet up with Luz, or with Marcy or with Sasha or with Anne without a problem, he'd probably be obstinate from learning from them but that's a story for another time, but, it means that both Ford and Rick, who might be good friends, or might've been, they would've been able to study and learn from these worlds, and maybe that's why Rick tends to hate magic, in a lot of ways he's quite like Belos when it comes to that, reliant on scientific tools to utilize it, tending to work through it by deduction and induction, not by intuitions and a clear, honest heart.
now let's hope that the nonsense doesn't happen that the fragment of Belos that fell on Hunter is still conscious and that while he sees what the Earth is now he realizes that killing witches no longer has any meaning and he just leaves...
Yeah i could see that Happening, if Belos takes possession of Hunter's body and he witnesses how much the world has changed since he's been gone, Belos will realize that there's no place left in the world for witch hunters.
We'll def be seeing a sympathetic backstory for Belos (the woman in his journal will probably play into that) but I hope they don't see the need to give him some redemption / sacrifice in the finale. Some characters, even in cartoons, should be unreachable. Like a certain Fire Lord.

The flower was definitely sus, the storyboard artist said it was originally a rose and it was claimed to be changed for plot reasons (I think it was snap dragon spying)

6:58 Well as we saw the season 1 finally glyphs do not work in the human realm, so belos would get hangry anymore because the glyp on his arm would not work anymore. To think he may would have been Thanosed if he steped to the portal which is kinda funny.

A detail you missed, Jacob Hopkins actually shares a last name with a real life Witch Hunter General from England, so it's more likely he's a descendant of him rather than the Wittebanes.
Ever since I saw king and the titan's skull in the same scene, I always had the theory that he was going to be revealed that he was a titan and even perhaps the Boiling Isle's son
When I saw the titan hunter in the one episode I was like "Aw man, I guess I was wrong,"

The collector wasn’t imprisoned because they were evil they imprisoned so they might mature in a beast ball which they keep escaping from like how a child would keep getting punished if the keep acting up

You're the first creator to say that it was the gliph that kept king hidden and not the collar. Everyone else says that the titan gave king his collar even though we saw eda give it to him
There's a saying in my native language, that roughly translates as "If there are ones who come to you, there will be ones who'll come for you". If you are helping a genocidal maniac who has no respect for human life, don't expect them to go easy on you in the end. They'll use you for their goals just as easily.

What if the people in the Boiling Isle’s find Kings island figure out it’s hidden from the Collector and hide there
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO HEARD BELOS SAID "CALEB". After seeing flapjack it doesn't add up if he said "kill him" he would have said "hungry" lol
15:06 maybe thats how Luzs Palisman will end up looking like that Owl creature and Perhapts it will end up being a very powerfull talisman wich might be able to open a portal to the other world but mostlikely not but it would be cool if it somehow could . I think if everyone has their Palisman with them they might have to somehow combine their magic for it to be powerfull enough to somehow open a portal . Also I wouldnt be suprised if there is some titans blood in the Human Realm since after all Phillip/Belos somehow cam to the Boiling Isle so there has to be some sort of way . I imagine that theyll have to find the remains of Phillip/belos wich till then probably somehow regeneratet somewhat , to then question him on how he got from the Human Realm to the Boiling Isle but I have a feeling that he might not know how since if he knew how to make a portal he most likely wouldnt have wanted the one Eda had , so I think it was Caleb who originaly made the portal or the witch that was with him , and once Phillip/belos tells them that they come to the conclusion that they might have to enter Hunters head to see if there are any remains of Calebs memorys or ect. are still there .

And one more thing Yes The Collector prison does look like a Beast Ball from Pokémon Sun & Mom and maybe Ash Ketchum caught The Collector and said “Yes I caught The Collector” but who knows really right?
This is probably one of the favorite episodes of the show so far. The composer did a fantastic job with the music. And I loved that out of everyone it was Hunter that opened the door to the human realm. You could probably call it poetic that it wasn't Belos, the brother who wanted to go back to the human realm so badly, but it was the son of the brother who probably never wanted to go back that opened and went to the human realm instead. I just liked how they put that detail in there. When they could've easily had Luz or one of the other kids open the door.
Mmm, maybe Philip expected the Human realm to just cancel out whatever magic that screwed him up in the first place. After all, Luz couldn't get any of her glyphs to work in the human realm because there's no magic lingering in it.
But her friends still can, I think. Maybe after sometime they will loose their forces, don't forgetting, witch hunter still have training stick with full energy and we don't know anything about Beloss power. Plus hide one entity not are big deal, but how you can hide so much from country's government (I'm not native English speakers)

Ok I just noticed that the palistern tree seed has a marking that looks similar to the the cloaking glyph! Does this mean that palismen in general will help the boiling isles?
My theory on the double meaning of lies is that, since this is likely the Collector saying these rhymes, the negative meaning is probably them feeling as though King's father lied to them, either by tricking them into being sealed or by a misunderstanding of the Collector's part. Kind of how kids will say that their parents lied to them if plans suddenly have to change for things that are outside of their control and that the child didn't know about, ESPECIALLY if those plans included something fun.
Dana has stated now that season two is done she's gonna be off Twitter less , mentioning posting her art on her Instagram! She mentioned in the post that she enjoys drawing horror and monsters . I am astounded by her amazing imagination to make something as terrifying as Monster Belos ! I'll definitely be following her Instagram to see more of her art. This entire show has been magnificent.
Are they going to let the show end with Luz's friends in the Human Realm?
Despite the collector being freed I don't think he's evil keep this a child that doesn't understand right from wrong
A naive child, with the powers of a god, who doesn't know that his actions are harmful to others. An absolutely terrifying villain for sure, but not an evil villain. 100% believe a Paladin would not detect any evil from the Collector at all, if this were a DnD game.

How did belos showed a vision of the human realm to the coven heads if he did not know that the human realm had changed.
Id kill to have a spinoff of king growing up, I'd love to see him as a badass giant just trynna fit in without being hunted or worshipped.
Here's the BIGGER question on my mind after watching this episode.
Remember the promise Luz made to Camilla to stay with her, if and when she came back home? Well...now, she IS home but Luz will certainly want to make a comeback to whatever's left of the Boiling Isles to help save Eda and everyone else.
So, how will she be able to do that; if her mom doesn't want Luz to go back there?
(Side Note: This could mean a potential breakup of Lumity by the end of the so-called "third season." I only say this because there will, no doubt be a moment where the link between Earth and the Isles will become separated; just like what happened with Amphibia.
If such a situation WERE to happen, that would mean all the hard work Dana put in to make Lumity canon will be all for nought)
I hated that ending so much! I was secretly hoping for a Star Vs situation 😆
Where the hell did you pull that any link between the boiling isles and earth will for sure break? unlike the link between amphibia and earth, it isnt made by 1 specific artifact that you could never get back if it were to break, but by something we could still have nearly infinite acces to: titan's blood. I dont think the collector will kill king because, unlike belos, he actually helped, and then, a bit of king's blood could be drawn day by day and eventually, they'll have enough for an infinite portal door
Okay first off, no Lumity will not break up, I doubt Dana and the crew would throw all their hard work for a healthy and good LGBT couple. Second off, Camila actually never said Luz couldn’t go back, now guarantee she would definitely want Luz to stay with her, but not let her visit the Isles. I feel like we’ll definitely get a talk between Luz and her mom about this in S3, especially since this is a perfect time for both sides to show their points and come to an understanding.
If they had a full season that would definitely be 1 or 2 episodes of story they'd tell. Since they only have the specials expect it to be touched on WAY less.

it's not like amphibia that they can just find people that's know how to get there and build a portal even if they did only belos/Phillip know how to and even if they did manage to build a portal door don't have Titans blood to power it
TOH situation is similar to Amphibia's situation but the difference there is they manage build a portal but they used Anne's calamity powers to make the portal bigger so they can get back to Amphibwia while TOH I don't think can make a new portal door even with the help of belos/Phillip they don't have the materials for it the portal door was originally made from the demon realm after all but we'll wait and see what happens in s3
I'm still pissed off about Disney cutting s3 short we won't see the crew's shenanigans and their interaction with the human realm or see Gus speaking to the giraffes 😂 but at least I have fanfic there's already a lot of fanfic comic about that in this channel "Lumity fans" the art of the comic is really closed to the original and story of is really good to almost to the point that story feels canon and not a fanfic
If the plan failed Belos would have had the plan to launch an attack to kill them all together just like Frieza did? (and then as Bardock Mr Blight goes tries to stop him on his own)

Now this is just a theory... A FILM THEORY. But I do find it interesting that the two coven heads that have been going after the gang are the illusions & plant heads and Luz's two buds have been an illusionist & a... Plant person? Is it possible we've been seeing the future heads develop right from the start?

They should do a future au with Luz and Amity and all of their friends having kids and stuff. That would be so cool!
It's been two months and I still can't get over this episode
When Belos was lying to Hunter abt how he wanted to help him. For a bit I thought that might’ve been in Hunter’s mind but then that wasn’t the case
I hope they can get the Collector to calm down a little, since they seem more like a kid than anything else. Collector actually kind of reminds me of Milim. Who knows King could befriend the Collector.

I don’t think that Belos saying that ‘it’s almost like the titian keeping it secrets’ was the writer saying that Titian’s will is helping Luc. I think it was more hinting at Belos having an inferiority complex. Over the fact that Luc and his brother are gifted in magic and feel that he is not. And resents them for that. We saw in the time travel episode that Belos had been made fun of for not having innate magical abilities, i.e. ‘just because I don’t have a bile sack,’ I think Belos entered the demon realm without substantial prejudices. But I guess between being separated from his brother and possibly being abused, witches drove him to drastic measures to gain magical abilities. It seems that Celeb also protected belos from bullies in emporer mind episode. But when he finally found brother and discovered he made a palisman and had a witch for a wife. Belos became infuriated that brother had a much easier time without him and feeling abandon betrayed belos killed him and swore that kill off all the witches for stealing his brother from him. Ultimately belos does care for his brother but feels betrayed because celeb ended happy and he was miserable.

this was a epic final season episode. the end of this episode was very sad. how will Luz and friends return to the Boiling Isles? will we get a crossover from the characters from Amphibia? ;) can't wait for the next episode of The Owl House. hoot. ;)
10:20 personally, I can see this being the beginning of Philip’s Grimwalker experiments, but when I first saw the scene, I instantly thought “this is him burying his brother after he killed him”. But I could be wrong, since Grimwalkers do need the bones of whoever it is the maker is basing them off of, however, I do think it to be a bit morbid that Philip would just keep his brother’s corpse out in the open, decaying, until he could get what he wanted, in place of burying him.

I'm in here late, but there's that theory that the Collector is merged with Luz which I believe you talked about in another video. Notice how the Collector keeps on mentioning "pinky promises" in a world where Luz had to teach them what high fives were. The Collector also has a sort of childlike, unquestioning sense of innocense. I think this supports that hypothesis that at the very least, some of Luz's essence is within the Collector. I think another interesting thing that the romantic part of me observed is how selfless Luz is beyond her relationship. Ngl, if my partner and I have the opportunity to escape to safety with some friends, I might stop for a moment, but when I see that the ground under me is shifting, that's when I'm calling it. I think Luz is really into Amity, but notice that she doesn't even think twice before leaving her for a larger cause which we see when she has Gus change her and Hunter's appearances so that she can save Eda and the CATS, and especially in King's Tide when the world around them is crumbling but she refuses to move. I think this episode provided support for a Luz+(dare I say) Belos (whose essence clearly remains) merger? Not sure about the Belos aspect still because the other half of the Collector's face looks more like an abomination but I'm not sure where else the lack of a conscience comes from. I also feel like it would support Willow's maybe hint-maybe joke that the Emperor was just a mirror reflecting society
Hunter will also now learn more about his family and who the original Caleb was.
Belos reminds me of Amon from The Legend Of Korra both people loved by everyone both hate and want to get rid of people with powers and have equality both clame to comuntcat with a entity and both of them turn out to be compleat frauds and both of them changed there names and both of them have a brother and both of them have a scar across his face and both of them ware a mask

the thing about Belos surviving on earth is that maybe the sigils engraved on his body will dissappear, just like the sigils Luz tried to use against Lilith, and maybe that could return him to normal health, cause maybe the sigils stopped him from getting old but at the cost of the stability of his body and the need to consume titan magic from the palismans... if he was complete and not a droplet of sludge tho
I believe somehow King leads them to King's castle it's like the only safest place from the collector. because of the symbol and King is the only one that can find it or Eda she just finds it.
I recently had a theory based on glyph magic and the strange constellations associated with the titan's structures/King's collar. What if there is actually a FIFTH glyph element?
Hear me out here: glyphs, while different elements, are clearly based on the idea of the 4 primary elements of the universe, Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. But something some don't know is that there is actually FIVE elements in this set. The fifth one is called Aether, and represents the empty space between all things in the universe, in which all things travel through. Applying this to glyph magic, it could represent the orbital patterns IN BETWEEN the glyph diagrams which alter how they interact with each-other.
This could also serve as an explanation as to what the Titan's strange symbols do. After all, King's collar symbol seems to be a spell that conceals the wearer from people like the collector, and yet it has no glyphs. But if it has no glyphs, why is the titan so focused on teaching glyph magic to Luz, as is teased multiple times? They don't use them themselves, so why? Well, as my idea suggests, the glyphs are merely and introduction to being able to chain-together elements through Aether, the fifth glyph element.

As a big fan of Gravity Falls, I quite enjoy The Owl House. The Collector and Bill Cipher are on similar levels of power, both being like gods.
This is the second video I've watched of yours. I've been watching The Owl House since the beginning! AND I'M JUST HEARING ABOUT CODES IN THE SHOW?? I used to decode every single code in Gravity Falls! And I've been missing out on Owl House codes?? OMG!! 🤯🤯🤯
Honestly, i don't think he had a plan for how to survive once back in the human realm. I think it was just the epilogue for him. He destroyed the boil isle, killed all the witches, and basically made it so no one could venture to the human realm. All that's left is to go home and find a nice place to die knowing he protected his people from the evils of the isle.
Every time I see the hexside (I hope I’m spelling that right, I haven’t personally seen the words that much) but n the human realm, I start to cry. Willow and Gus no longer have any adult to feel comfortable with or let their guard down around, Amity doesn’t have her siblings and parents (arguably terrifying even though she’s independent) and Hunter isn’t around magic anymore. We don’t know what happens to grimwalkers without an aura of magic around them! Unlike Luz who WANTED to find a place like the Boiling Isles, these CHILDREN had no choice to go into unfamiliar place and lose EVERYTHING they had, including their magic.
It’s understandable why Gus would cry. He’s probably the one who realizes that they have NO WAY HOME, NO family, and their entire lives are now put down n the hands of a lady who, though she’s in the medical field (from my understanding) doesn’t know everything about the human world or anything about witches the way they know themselves.
I’m in utter shock that Luz didn’t have a breakdown when she returned to the human realm. She lost, essentially, her baby brother, her longest friend (hootie) and her mother because some man got angry that Lilith slapped him.
Do you think that Lilith is gonna have a missing arm too? I would assume that she had a similar reaction to the draining spell.
some of my friends think that the collector either killed every one who wasn't on Earth or erased there memories but I see zero evidence to either of those outcomes.
I think some good spin=off ideas could be
1. Eda's story
2. V's story
3. A These are the adventures you WOULD have seen IF we had more time minor retcon story
4. focus on a back ground or supporting character at the same time as Luz
5. Young Philip's Story
6. the story of an other wild witch in an other location at around the same time
7. Multi Disney show crossover special mini series
8. Live action reboot
9. Change every one's race, gen der and sexuality and all there oragin stories, back stories and interests but some how still have it be the same characters reboot
10 CGI reboot
11. Next Gen reboot
12 Chibi comedy series
13. return the original cast and characters but give the whole series an annoying ham fisted political shift
14 An anthology series that can be set any place on the time line and focus on any number of characters in any order and can also step outside of canon ... think Adventure time's Grables
15. an alternate universe where one small change completely shift every thing in a new direction
Some things I think will happen in season 3 or rather that I feel need to happen even if it is more then 3 double episodes can do
1. morn your loss and accept what just happen ed and that you can not go back. Go tour Earth. Have a date. While on your date observe the fact that Phillip and his brother have left there history all over town and that there is some hope of fixing every thing.
2. A research episode that takes us threw the museum and library that leads us to an artifact or a text or a pool or some way of getting back and also defeating the collector
3. A conflict where Luz meets V's friends
4. a conflict between the witch hunter who captured V and the main cast where in the Emperor Gewe takes on a symbiote / host relationship, forms a new obstacle but he's taken out quickly since we don't have time.
5. We discover a magical or technological way home. we return to the demon world only to discover it has been turned in to a game bord full of dice and playing cards and crazy rules. Now we have to play by the rules and move along home, to the Owl House We then confront the collector and either defeat him by winning a bet or by showing kindness. We will have a way to imprison him but it won't be used.
6. An Epilogue with a time skip
I don't think we have time to kill any one off so I feel we are safe now. we just need to get every one back or if we can't we can show them getting used to Earth. If we have a time skip before the Epilogue that would also be interesting.
I would also love to explore the idea of what if the Day of Unity wasn't stopped or the idea of what if we never return to the demon world and are just stuck here?
I would also love to see a series that tells the story of a romance that goes threw all the stages of childhood crush to married with children so audiences learn that stories don't end when you get married and love is some thing you work at.
I also made an outline for an Anne vs Luz fight, if we ever got one
round 1 : Magic trumps sword
round 2 super saiy anne trumps magic but Luz is still smart and fast enough to out last Anne's time limit
round 3 Destroying the moon trumps any thing Luz knows, even if she does use purification magic
of every one fights Team Owl House has the advantage over every one until the Trio goes full gem power then they tip things back in there favor but Collector trumps core.
the only one to have a better Life on Earth is Huntter.
While Gus, Amity and Willow left there parents and families, Hunter left no one of value behind and only gained a better safer life.
it would be interesting if it turned out that there was more to the story then we are being told
and there are a few details I think we are forgetting, like Jean Luc .
we still have to hatch that egg too and now I don't know what it'll be, all my ideas worked when it was still the day of Unity and Luz needed a last minuet win.
Either way if I said any thing of interest here or if I say some thing interesting in the future, feel free to address it in a video.
It's hard to judge from what limited window we have on him - of all the plots rushed due to the cancellation, King and the Collector's friendship (which I am positive was meant to build through that astral projection over an entire season) is the one I think most tragically truncated - but the Collector doesn't even seem _malicious._ Kids can be, and all-powerful kids are often depicted as horror-terrors because they feel entitled.
The collector kid doesn't seem unjustly entitled, just dangerously innocent. His fury over his mistreatment is not unfounded. Even King resorted to deception rather than simply telling him the truth and making a bargain. Not surprising, given King's own upbringing and the nature of the situation.
But I actually think, if King had said, "I _do_ want to bargain with you. I'll pull you out if you stop the spell and save my friends. I'll even pull you out first," I think the collector would've agreed. If King made further overtures of friendship, it probably would've gone...reasonably well.
THe poor kid needs a parent. I don't know how his species grows up, but it's clear that he's had no emotional growth from being an innocent orphan. But, again, he doesn't seem malicious, just...unaware of how dangerous he is to others. Very child-like. I think he can learn empathy, possibly even fairly easily. He just needs a reason to recognize that people will play with him if he exercises restraint and care for them.
I really wish we'd gotten more development of him before now, or had that extra time for 20 more adventures Luz said they'd need for a beach vacation in which to have the Collector and King develop on that front.

Hunter: Quickly became best friends with Gus. Barely even speaks with Willow. Has his arm around Gus’ shoulder at the end.
When it comes to spin offs I want the adventures of Vee, with her and her camp friends going on adventures involving magic creatures who got into the human realm by sneaking through the portal door (or like the talking rats, just accidentally created by eda in her adventures in the human realm), with the show ending with the camp friends finding out who Vee really is (maybe the museum guy returns or she has to use some of her magic to save them and it forces her to shapeshift to her true form) and they just don't care cause she has been a great friend, giving Vee a much needed self esteem boost.
A young eda series would be cool as well but I'm not really sure what can really be explored in that show that hasn't been done in the main show.
I don't think ANYONE has a serious question about whether Mamá Noceda said "of course your friends can stay" cause Camila is the best. She isn't a perfect mom, but she loves kids & wants to make sure they're ALL safe.

i’ve had this theory on what the owl house game might be and just want to share to fellow fans lol (if you don’t want to read the whole thing the end part is my idea basically the rest is just my reason for thinking this):
So when King lived in the tower before Eda found him, he made towers of rocks and after going to the owl house he continued to make the towers and Eda described them as his subjects (she said “…a King amongst his subjects” which led her naming King). He grew up with the idea that he was a king who commanded armies and more. So throughout the show we see him continually command armies of plushies (like in s1 ep12) and others.
i think that since king got the idea of commanding armies from the owl house and that it was something he enjoyed doing and did pretty often, i think that’s what the owl house game will look like.
I imagine the owl house game is just like a Simon Says game where The Collector is the “King” and the people of the boiling isles are their “subjects” since that was what king did in the owl house (command subjects)
idk if this makes sense, it does in my head. i just wanted to share my idea with others because i’m proud that i came up with it lol.

Watching the ending: I'm not crying!
I hypothesized that king wasn’t the reincarnation of bill per say but bill before he became bill cipher. If you remember the poem the axolotl made “sixty degrees that comes in threes, watches from within birch trees, misses home and can’t return, says he’s happy, he’s a liar, blame the arson for the fire, if he wants to shirk the blame, he’ll have to invoke my name, one way to absolve his crime, a different form a different time” the collector has cosmic level power much like bill and king is the one who released him causing the destruction of the boiling isles, not literal arson but the same principle.
