To Levi and the video crew, this was the best presentation of this type of process along with the how-to commentary by Levi. Funny, but a company is doing ads for a steam cleaner that is a must have for professional Detailers. I’ll stick with this method as I still prefer ONR rinseless if do not have running water.
Ultimately one of the best darn solutions for winter washing! With a Labor Day sale going on, grab yourself a box of Eagles and don't forget Rags to Riches when ordering some ONR! As always, great video guys.
So do I rinse my vehicle first and then steam it? Or just jump into this process? How does it compare to regular a hand wash? Or commercial steam cleaners?
I would love to meet Levi one day just to pick his brain about all his detailing experiences. I’m sure this guy knows more than enough ways to clean every part of the car.
I've been using nothing but ONR solution in my steamer for years ever since I heard Dr. G talk about it somewhere. I use it for all steaming jobs, interiors, exteriors, engine bays, etc.. Lubrication, enhanced cleaning and easier safer drying. It's awesome. Supposedly even beneficial for the steamer.
Are there any dangers with a steamer .. obviously it’s very hot. will it burn or melt leather seats? Plastics? Vinyl ? Anything I should know? Is it OK to use the brush attachments on those things or will it scratch certain materials?
Hey there TRC Crew! Quick question regarding using the steamer for this wash method. My understanding is that raising panel temperatures during correction should be avoided as much as possible as to not stress the clear. Would the introduction of steam be potentially just as stressful on the clear since the temperature is rapidly rising and then falling again? Incorporating steam into my riseless wash routine intrigues me and I'd love to try this out. Just wanted to be sure I'm not potentially risking and delamination or other issues with the clear by doing this.
Just keep the tip at least 3-4 inches from the surface at all times and it won’t be any hotter than the sun would be beating on it. Can you damage the clear? Sure, if you shoot the steamer point blank at one spot for an extended time, so just don’t do that and you’ll be fine

I got all hot and steamy just washing this. Guess I have another use for my steamer! Awesome stuff Levi!
I'd been contemplating getting a massive industrial steam cleaner to do this and I'm glad I saw this video. Just save me like 7 grand lol
Beautiful work and with winter looming the hot steam will be a welcomed idea.
Keeps me warm in the winter 🥵
Glad to see ONR still being used
Not going to break them 😂

I’ve heard Ivan and Levi mention many time about ONR in the steamer but was never sure of dilution. Now I know!
Another awesome video guys. I absolutely love ONR!
That’s called next level or maybe top level. 👌🏻
Excellent video! Very clean audio and instructions Levi... and this camera work is pristine!!
This is just what I was looking for. Thanks!
I can't be the only one who thought Levi was going to say he had ONR mixed 256:1 with his Pepsi.
Hahahaha, just beadmaker infused Pepsi Zero (Mango)
Now The Master of Steam. What can’t this guy do?!?!

Thank you!! I would totally hangout Stephen!
Pretty sure I won't return it back to Levi if it's me 🤣
I really need a steam cleaner for winter washes. Time to bug the budget boss...er...my wife!
Where do you guys get your hex lights?
Levi always working on that potential Pepsi sponsorship. :-P I hope you get it!

I'd be wary of putting chemicals into your steamer. For your sake, not the steamer's. I can't imagine breathing in ONR is good for you.
Hi friend. Awesome video! Can steam affect coatings?

Can this replace doing a clay bar?
Levi can you put Absolute in the steamer ???

@@R900DZ makes sense, Appreciate the info! never thought to use a steamer for a rinsless
what is the steam heat degree ?
You need a bigger steamer 💪
Probably hard to dilute 256 to 1. I didn’t think you could put it any chemical in the steamer water
Wondering how the steamer would work on removing dried tree sap?
Steamer will melt through tree sap fairly fast with commercial level pressure. With this model it would take a few passes and slightly longer.
Awesome
Will this work in Karcher steam cleaners as well?
Yes any steamer
Safe to use this method on vehicles protected with PPF?? Guessing not?? Please let me know
Yes, it’s all about technique. Keep the steam moving and don’t get closer than 3-4 inches from the surface.
Is steam cleaning safe to use on cars that have ceramic coatings or even things like graphene coatings? Love the vid!
Yes it’s safe with the right technique
So 1 tablespoon per gallon - that stuff goes a long way for this type of cleaning
Can you guys actually make a video cleaning a dirty car not a factory new.
Why not use the Big Black Sponge
After a traditional wash, can you spray the car with ONR before drying to lubricate the surface or not necessary
@@brandonobannon2531 you certainly can!
@@brandonobannon2531 A drying aid is always recommended - drying is where most swirls come from, and ONR is one of the most cost effective.
I want to see y you clean a dirty car.

Filing this one under the “tomfoolery” category.
Why's that?
