Was privileged to know AJ personally as well as watch him perform many, MANY times. He was a truly great human being. His is missed.
AJ was an awesome yet underrated drummer. I be seem him numerous times at eh Gemini II in Yorktown, Speaks on L.I. And Detroit in Port Chester. He never failed to impress and always had a smile on his face. My heart goes out to his family..
RIP Anthony Jude Pero.

Aj has quick hands for a big man... outstanding drummer 💯♥️
That is my favorite drummer right there!
RIP God Bless
maximum power
absolute powerhouse.
if anyone did bonzo justice on that day, it was AJ.
I was taking drum lessons when "were not gonna take it" hit the airwaves. AJ's syncopation of the four count fill with a cowbell was ground breaking for me.
I too am sad to hear he died. as you can see, he was a phenomenal drummer.
My gosh what a beast on drums 🫢🫢
This guy has GROOVE
He may have groove but he ain't groovin' here, he rushed the whole song and his timing was b l e e c h.
Great performance by great musicians!R.I.P.!
AJ is a bad ass - always has been. Back in the 80's I got to see him do a dual drum clinic with Alan White of Yes. It was fantastic. Even the old classic drummers who were skeptical of him were blown away when they saw AJ throw it down. He is furious on the kit and also has pretty damn good chops. Check out his drumming on Dee Snider's solo album Never Let The Bastards Wear You Down. Great CD also!
The guy on vocals is Chas West. He used to sing for Jason Bonham's solo band. Believe it or not he was fantastic back then, even when I saw them do a Zep tribute tour but that was quite a few years ago.I have to agree, he really is off key on a lot of this Bonzo Bash stuff and does not sound good at all!
***** Thanks I will check it out!
***** For sure!!
I attended this same clinic in Tampa FL at Thoroughbred Music. I remember most of us discussing how Alan White was "Technically Superior" and what not. Holy Hell did AJ blow us all away that night!! For me this is the best Bonzo Bash performance on RUclips...
AJ .was a great player and a big influence upon me. R.I.P. SIR.XX
I love that there's so much respect for John Bonham in the rock and roll world. Even as a kid I recognized that he was special. When I was a kid around 1983 or so my Dad came home from an estate auction one day and he gave me a box of 33rpm albums he'd bought for like 2 dollars. There were albums from Humble Pie , Zappa , The Guess Who , BTO , Yes , Badfinger , Led Zeppelin , Jeff Beck , Clapton . I spent that winter getting acquainted with hard rock music of the 70s , and although I loved all those albums , the Led Zeppelin ones stood out because they didn't sound like the other ones. They were obviously very versatile and it seemed that they were recorded differently. Their albums seemed to have a better sound quality than other early 70s bands. The way John Bonham played , and the way his drums were recorded made Led Zeppelin stand out even to an 11 year old kid . I now know that I wasn't the only kid who noticed that Zeppelin had a drummer who wasn't like the rest.
He's a beast on the kit!!! cheers from Northern indiana

RIP Ajay....your shit is legendary.....
His name was Tony.
Let's give it up for the drum sound. That is a phenomenal snare. That guitar player is no joke. It's just a shame he's so shy about being on stage LOL.
This guitarist is insane
RIP
Adrian Vandenberg does a great job on vocals here!
Le pega fuerte el buen Pero
Man, he was awesome....cant help notice him really struggling to breathe at numerous times...a shame he didn't get that checked out b4 his 2015 death.
Orlando stealing the show....he is AMAZING!
Talk about beating the kit like it owes him money! Jesus Lawd!!
dammm
never realized how much of a pounder AJ was ..Cool to see him but was to fast on his time
Yeah I thought the cover was very speedy
Hi hats too loose and sloppy no groove
AJ Pero is sick!

Oh I forgot about that I'm sorry
@@brittneysanders4027
I didn't know if you were joking or not.
I just get forgotten about that
Who was singing?
R.I.P…………………….
What did aj die from?
Debbie Athy On March 20, 2015, he was declared dead from an apparent heart attack.
He suffered a Fatal Heart Attack.
@@EdwardFlores562 that so sad thanks for let me know about that

Victor Deodato No. it was a heart attack.
Mark Doney-Mccloud

Who's the singer?
Chas West
oh :) at last, this singer can sing
Who's that singing?
Chas West is the singer he plays in a Zep tribute band called The Moby Dicks, He's amazing!!!
Leisa Tilley yeah ... not really anything "amazing"
I expected him to be crap, almost all Robert Plant impersonators fail, but he was actually really good, I could almost believe it was Percy himself.
Fck yeah! This is soul of Bonham right here! He brought it
Powerhouse drummer. i know he's probably 'excited here'. blinding fills and some good chops. rushed things a bit.... but, wow.....would have never guessed ..'this guy" ( Twisted....Ugh.....never was a fan...) .... was so good. monster rock drummer. good job AJ.
You haven't a clue. He was a jazz musician played in club's since 12 years old. Idiot.
It looks like Jon Favreau playing drums.
Rutina...
I was never a fan of Pearo - but I'm positive Bonham would have bought him a bottle of Jack for this performance...
What why not he was amazing
Always thought AJ was way underrated. He kicked ass with Twisted!
That guitarist ... really? Cmon dude that was spinal tap comedy
vidsforsquids at first I was gonna ask why you would say that considering they barely show him....and then I got to the part where he starts soloing🤦🏻♂️
GREAT DRUMMER. A little over played with all the rolls and fills that Bonham never recorded.
:(
He plays it a bit fast, rushed . But killer chops
Saw a j with sister early 80s at the marquee London a couole of times and the lyceum. 1 kick arse sticksman
RIP
