any business and/or running mindful business tips. how you navigate using social media for business. the best lessons having your own business has given you, mistakes you wish you corrected earlier, etc anything like that would be super cool. Or books you've read and learnt from haul (since I remember you said you weren't purchasing any more books this year in the yearly planning or notion video and If you've ready any on your shelf and liked them, it could be cool to share, etc) hope this inspired some ideas! x
It would be fun to see an expanded financial video about how you decide on the percentage of your monthly income that goes into each of the buckets - savings, investments etc. and maybe even specifically for small businesses / freelancers touching on the wonders of taxes and deductions! :) Thanks for sharing you two!
As someone who just got married and is prepping to merge finances with my husband, this is really helpful! I'm going to rewatch it with him :) Thanks for sharing your process.
I love this video! It's one thing to say you have a meeting once a month, but it's another thing entirely to see another healthy couple having this meeting without arguing. Great Video!
Growing up I also never saw how finances were handled so I’m so glad you made this video! I loved to see how you guys handle finances together in real life. Bring Andrew back again!
I found this so valuable - me and my partner have been together a year and we're starting to talk about moving in together. I know we have different money mindsets and are in different financial positions so I'm very aware that it's something for us to work on before/as we start to combine our finances.
my fiance and I are about to buy a house and this was so helpful! I've been asking my married friends and siblings how they manage their expenses as a couple and this was great information to utilize! thanks!
Thanks for this example of healthy financial management in a relationship. It also exemplifies how we can talk to and work with ourselves with a monthly financial mtg and process. And yes, Andrew is a peach and it's great to also have videos with you two sharing from a couples' perspective...and I don't even plan to be in a relationship. 🙂
Love love love this video! Many people find it hard to talk about money with their partners and this video just shows perfectly how learning to do it effectively takes your relationship to new heights (ie reaching shared goals + being conscious of your collective values)!! Can’t wait to use this for myself 😄☺️ thank you Jules!
You two are just adorable! Praying you both reach your goals and are blessed in your new house. We have owned 6 new builds setting goals and working hard.
this is so on time for me!! i’m hitting 27 in december and my mindset is changing. i just now created a visual budget and y’all sharing these nuggets is confirmation for me. thank you both!!
you're helping so many people with this video, including myself! thank you for your transparency and generosity in sharing the template. I'm going to use this for myself, but also you both gave me hope that it's possible to be in a healthy financially goal-aligned relationship. thanks!!!
This video was very informative. I wonder how you would create a spending budget with kids. My kids are 15 and 10. My oldest gets an allowance but of course still asks for additional money sometimes. My youngest will want things too. Those trips to Ralph's Ices, Starbuck's, and out to eat add up! Thank you.
Love this! Money is a sensitive topic for my parents so it’s inspiring to see a couple exemplify how to properly communicate about money. I’ll definitely incorporate this system into my future marriage.
Thanks for sharing your approach to finances; it's SO helpful! I would love to see another video like this (and Andrew!) Some questions: Did you both pay off your own debts before creating a joint account? Is there a minimum amount you need to create a "high-yield" savings account? What adjustments do you make if you go over budget in a month?
Pls share more what's in Acree Life notion page, would love to see it! Hopefully it'll give me lots inspiration for me and my husband as much as this video did! Thank you 😍😍
This was very helpful as a jumping off point for budgets and healthy money conversations. I'm curious how do you decide on figures/a budget for furniture in a new home? Do you budget just for big ticket items or do you buffer for organization & decor items as well? Thx!
Great at video. We just started sharing finances and I wanted to know how you navigate if one of you wants to go on a trip with friends that doesn’t include the other?
@@julesacreeThanks for your reply :)) Perhaps an expanded version now that baby will be in the picture...any financial planning there? Hearing you both discuss your perspectives on jointly planning finances is exactly what is so inspiring and eye-opening. Appreciate you and the dedication you put towards making this content for us!
After months of overspending I'm finally going to implement this in our house. My husband has ADHD so he doesn't always think about where discretionary spending happens, I've been overworked and really impulsive about spending, and now that our monthly bills are rising with rising costs it's waaaaay past time to adult better about finances! 23 years of marriage, never too late... right?
Loved this video 😍 this was helpful for my reference and you both have such a good communication system set up! Such a sweet couple, and wishing you all the best with house building 🏠
Love the video!! Yes to more Andrew appearances Question: what does it look like before you sit down with this awesome monthly meeting form? Meaning, how is the time spent physically seeing how you did with your budget that month, Ex how did you know you did well not overspending on food? Is that like pre game huddle, then the game is the meeting haha?
I love this video, thank you!! Just curious, if you two make different incomes and if there is a formula you would use to determine the amount each person should contribute to the joint account?
Hi, I have the simplify and thrive kit and I tried to download the acree finance meeting template from the link provided and on website to no avail. Help :(
This was great Jules! I've followed your channel for about 2 years and you always have the coolest stuff. I think a couple's relationship with money is so important and as a married couple it's important to be on the same team. Thankful for the mention of TrueBill too by your husband... It's now called "Rocket Money" for anyone curious (I looked it up and installed it) I tried to put your name as an "influencer" but it didn't come up. Well keep us posted on your journey!
Yes it’s in the same shared hub! So if you find the email from before it will be the same link. Also even if you opt in again it’s not going to sign you up twice. It will recognize you and just send you the file regardless.
Great video! managing money as a couple is so important. This is what we do and how we work together! ruclips.net/video/cP_bFAKkwzY/видео.html - being a team is essential. xCC

Thanks for this! Seems TrueBill app is no longer available... What alternative do you suggest?
Oh it’s called rocket money now! Same thing just rebranded
Financially NEKED 😂love you both! A+ content
How did you come up with how much to pay yourself? And is it on a auto payroll?
I have an accountant who handles aaaall that - but there is a formula for figuring it out to make sure you’re legally compliant
