I'd love to use it in my first grow! Got everything except the light. Just put together my T6 Infinity fan wit smart controller on my new ac Infinity 4x4 tent. With 2 system rootbox hydro set up. Got to hook up my RO system this weekend. Almost there just need a nice light to get me started. Love the channel! Thanks for the great content!

Another benefit of not having UV and IR built into the main light is you control their spectrums time schedules independently. This gives you the option not to run UV or IR at certain stages or times of the grow to stop from potentially burning the plants and lower the stress or stretching as needed. You can also run deep red for 15 mins before and after to help during flowering
It also helps keep cost down, plus they can use more space on the light fixture for other diodes and dedicate more power to them
That is correct, most UV diodes are not going to have a huge effect, really needs to be a fluorescent fixture to add any UV waves. Also UV is ( inmost cases ) harmful to plants. Part of why plants create trichomes is to protect from UV.
@@JAmitch-qi7jztotally agree, if any light is going to be fluorescent in a grow tent right now it might as well be for the UV. At this point its still probably more cost effective and better quality to use bulbs for UV, especially if you use the last several weeks of growing method, but I'm sure HI end diodes or UV specific add on bars are the future are just as good if not better in some applications. Until they are higher output, more reliable and cost effective I could see UV bulbs being the last fluorescents to get replaced by LEDs, just not totally phased out. And by no means is it a bad thing or a waste to have them on lights. Having control over different spectrums isn't a huge deal to most and its still going to grow great weed regardless. How you grow and what you do plays a way bigger role at that point but if you are getting a light with the mindset of just get as much usable light and usable wattage out of every diode just get something without the UV and IR and get supplemental bars. Almost everyday though I see something new and technology is advancing so much in this field, the more mainstream legal weed gets the better proprietary equipment will be, very exciting
@@brianpoague Well said, I agree. I do believe that a few UV diodes are great for a "Full spectrum" light. And UV can 100% help stack trics and bring out terps. I am all for it in the new LEDs, I would ask that if they add large amounts of UV diodes to a fixture we have an option to control that spectrum.
@@JAmitch-qi7jz very true as well, for something that's advertising as "full spectrum" its nice to have some UV diodes on there, in the future if company's want to add alot of UV diodes on a fixture just have them on a separate supplement bar on the fixture and on a different driver. I'm already seeing lights and different companies doing this, really excited to see the same thing applied to the 730 range so I can put the plants to sleep earlier, alot of the ones that are controllable spectrum wise put mix the 660 and 730 on the same driver or same "deep red" category. These are very little things but once that happens I'd rarely have to look for supplemental bars again

I started with a Bloom Plus BP3000 in a 4x4 because of your review. I've got some purple chem clones that I'm picking up today. Probably 12 or so to start, then narrow them down from there. They're going into a 4x8 for flower but I dont have enough light to fill that space yet.

I would like to grow some cheese. It’s my all time favorite. First time I tried it was in Amsterdam over 15 years ago and I have been hooked ever since. It is very hard to find here in the states unless you grow it yourself. It’s a nice mellow high that makes you very happy. Rather have that than any other medication that eats away at your body. Love it ❤️ nice light and thanks for your videos. They are very informative.

Is this light worth upgrading my 5x5 from the fc6500? I didn't see a compelling case to do so.
The 6500 is great for a 4x4 but only ok for a 5x5. This would definitely be an upgrade. Then you could use the 6500 in a 2nd 5x5 to veg with or flip it for some cash.

Just got a 3x3 for extra space because the 2x4s are really short, but realised my 100 and 200w panels dont fit in there in any ideal way, causing trouble with hot spots. I would veg, flower, and give the big Aloe plant a strong sun bath whenever its got free space. And wow that FC-8000 is like all of my lights put together in a box. Cool

With an FC3000 by marshydro I would love to grow some medicinal plants as well as some peppers spinach lettuce and tomatoes, I recently learned how to efficiently use LEDs and hear all great things about Marshydro and personally really have a thing for the sp3000 but as we evolve it would be an honor to grow under the FC3000 thanks for the opportunity Justin and Marshydro.

If I had the FC3000 It would be the perfect addition to my 4 x 4 grow. I currently have two @MarsHydro TS1000 growing some medical cannabis to help with my military service related injuries, due to airborne operations. Adding the FC3000 would give me the watts I need and push my plants to produce nice fat dense colas.
