    With my limited knowledge of these Vauxhall/ Renault engines is it possible to remove the cyinder head and using a hydraulic press push them out from the valve side ? I to have a Renault trafic and am not looking forward to the day I have to do mine.

      The bit you would see it injector tip, the only way is from the top down, odd tho I got 6 of the other type out, yet this type I've no chance at the min 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

    Fairplay Mark! Can you try drill them out and get the sidewall thinned out then burst it inwards?

    • @ON-THE-DRIVEWAY
      @ON-THE-DRIVEWAY  7 месяцев назад

      I was thinking of smashing the top off, then try and drill down, I did try drill them but harden steel under the top part,

      @@ON-THE-DRIVEWAY you could try a long carbide die grinder mill, i used one on a spigot bearing shell last week and it ate through it , when the drill bits wouldn't even scratch the surface

    Rent out a hydraulic injector puller and those that snap drill out with the injector drill kit

      This type injector is a nightmare 😫 it odd I've pulled 6 of the type but these won't move, doesn't help that tops are rusted to death either, but I'll make a new gadget and try again 👍

      @@ON-THE-DRIVEWAY I can now see why some people are charging 800 pounds to have them removed

      Yer, 3000 quid for pincher kit! That just one kits then other bits you can get
      I'd says aleast 5k to get set up so 800 or 1200 quid a good prices. I wonder how it really dose cost in tools to get these out, 1000s I bet when they are stuck like mine 👍
