I'm not a big fan of Manson's music, but he's an interesting man, that's for sure. Go watch some interviews with him, he's pretty fckn educated. Yes, he's weird, but he knows his shit, and knows a lot about arts and has an interesting view on things. I think that's why his music is that stuff, he's more like an artist, not a "musician", and artists are strange
Souvenir Alex
Music is an art, but not all musicians are artists. A lot of musicians make empty beats for the sole purpose of money and fame. Actual ARTISTS are passionate and mainly want to portray a message.
Chill out with your edgy insults.
Souvenir Alex
What are you even talking about?
Of course Manson is a musician. But not all musicians are ARTISTS. Manson is also an artist because he puts passion into his work...
There is a difference between doing something solely because you love it and doing something purely for money. People who are only in it for the money and make mindless beats are not artists.
I'm Alex stop playing and twisting his words lol, you cant debate for shot
You should check out the work he did as far as movie scores. He scored Resident Evil and holy fuck is it amazing. He is also a very intelligent person.
@@seigeengine he is just fuking trolll man :D with no brain
The kids from columbine hated manson and thought he was a poser. They were more into rammstein and KMFDM.
bonziisuncool excuse me for the stupid question, but what is KMFDM???
Not sure if you ever got your answer but the main gist of them were that they were a popular Industrial band (in the Industrial scene).
@Sonya Cronkvist Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid
thwy were losers anyway so this is why they didn't likw him
Or MDFMK? Lol
There was a famous interview with Manson after a shooting (I presume it was Columbine, but it might have been another one) where the interviewer asked him what he would say to the kids who did it, and he replied, "I wouldn't say anything, I would listen to what they had to say, because that's what no one did." I think that really speaks of where he stands regarding the whole thing.
Also, if you haven't yet, listen to his Food Pyramid song from Clone High. It is glorious.
Mate Safranka Bowling for columbine
I've seen that interview and like man it really changed my perspective so much. I've seen many of his interviews and how can you not adore him T-T.
...like theres a freaking good reason for a kid to shoot up a school?
@@hannahsummers7956 Thats not the point. The point is that if they had a different upbringing or someone to listen to, the shooting may have never happened.
@@hannahsummers7956 Bullying. The one shooter kid's mom did a whole speech on how he used to be bullied. It can really leave a traumatizing impact on someone, especially at such a young age.
He has a interesting voice though. He brought a unique voice in the metal industry. I give him props for that. His music is supposed to make you question it. Like i think he said there shouldn't be a answer in music. I'm not sure.
John Pearson thanks u mate see I think as well that if he could sing his music would be shit tbh
Now everyone go to FBE and have them react to dream theater so Mike can react to it
This is what you should do:

Become The Knight oh my god XD, there is actually a petition, if they don't see this petition then we shall all pillage FBE studios until they give us this XD
LtheOtaku64 PILLAGE!
He did this one for us Manson fans, the *least* we can do is get sydney to listen to dream theater for him!

"A blend of atheism and Satanism"
My Brain: *Paradox Detected*
Maybe it's something like God doesn't exist only Satan does?
@@solinvictus2132 atheists dont give a crap about mystic stuff. they reject everything that religions present not only god.
Okan Not true. Athiesm is a very broad term. And Atheiest is simply someone who does not believe in a god. This can spab from someone like me who believes in evolution, to a Buddhist.
@@solinvictus2132 Okan you are right about the Buddhist part in that it has no supreme being or deity as is the definition of theism but my point was mainly with the Atheist and Satanist combination...
Satanism isn’t a religion it’s really more of a philosophy. Satanist don’t believe in Satan .
Just saying, Manson himself is not a satanist. He is an atheist. He does not believe in neither God nor Satan. It's all art. Kinda like Slayer.
Emmy Rota satanists dont believe in satan theyre atheists who believe in bettering themselves and like what "satan" is for or some shit like that but i spend a lot of time on the church of satans twitter so
He's an atheist in practice, but there are a lot of satanists who claim to really just be atheists in practice. And if you look at his big influences, LaVey and Crowley, it's tough to argue that satanist ideas haven't crept into his belief structure.
Yet Araya doesn't seem to be smart enough to realise that everything he does is sacreligious to his own religion.
Was he at one time because i know he was a member of the church of Satan?
Satanism is a subculture of atheism, theistic satanism is worship of Satan and it's not very popular because if you believe in the prince of darkness who most definitely wants you dead, why worship him
I think that controversial and shocking artists, such as Marilyn Manson, do serve an important purpose in society because they make you re-evaluate your personal beliefs. When Marilyn Manson wipes his ass on the American flag or destroys a Bible, I think we (subconsciously or consciously) examine why we feel shock towards the desecration of a piece of fabric or some paper. At this point, we either choose to continue in our belief in these symbols, or we reject them. Both options are valid, but either way, I think artists like Marilyn Manson are beneficial, as they promote individual thought instead of simply going along with the way of thinking that you have been socialised to have.
agreed they dont even get him and they talk about him
Both versions of "Sweet Dreams" the original by Eurythmics and the cover by Marilyn Manson are very good in my opinion. I like them both.
They even share the same vibe... Even the eurythmics version feels eerie but, it's like underlying
I agree. Love them both.
Mike is missing the point of Mansons cover. His version is meant to bring out and sound/represent what the original song's lyrical content is actually about.
The Eurythmics original version is just as dark as Marilyn Mansons, it just doesn't sound like it lol
Yes, true... they're both good on a different way, but the Manson one hit me more...
Going to a pop concert can be very fun if you deaf
RevolutionTV you deserve some likes for that
It was not before 90s..though
dead*
Would rather go to a pop concert than a marilyn manson concert tbh
I actually really really like Marilyn Manson......and not for the shock i just like his music course im not a music snob
Destry Soule snob or not,is just the truth, Manson doesn't sing and overproduce a lot but is good music to listen still
Have you listened to his latest release? It's pretty good!
Pale Emperor is the only album i like from him
You can really tell that he pours so much of himself on his crafts and I really respect that. Plus, he really is smart.
I think marilyn is a great singer, just my opinion. Love his voice.
No offense but have you heard him live? He used to be able to somewhat sing competently during the early-mid 90s but all that growling/screaming definitely took a toll on his voice as nowadays, he sounds... Not so good.
this guy doesn't k ow shit about music marilyn is great foe his voice if he says he can sing
@@lukeyt963 Not sure if you were referring to my comment but if you were, it's not like I said he sucked. Manson has accomplished a lot and I can respect that. All I'm saying is that all the growling, screaming, and shrieking definitely took a toll on his voice because in videos I've seen of him performing live in the last few years, it just sounds like his voice is strained.
@@KaiDecadence don't agree that his voice nowadays has become very poor due to the abuse he gave it through his peak years in the late 90s and early 2000s. However, having saying that, he did amazing acoustic vocal work with some of his songs quite a few years back that i was impressed with. Not spectacular vocals or anything like that, but the style he done acoustically, his voice just worked with those songs.
@@Amzingred fair enough
The Columbine shooters weren't actually fans of Marilyn Manson. They preferred Rammstein and KMFDM. Also, Marilyn Manson hasn't encouraged actions like that in his music or in real life.
I’m not appreciating all this hate towards papa manson
HDFTW90219 oh hell naww bro i’m going to his concert tonight
The real papa is papa het
It’s not papa Manson it’s papa het🤦🏼♂️
are you my brother @im a kang4roo
Me too
The reason she would say that "it's like an atheist music video" is because she's ignorant to the definition of atheism and how it has zero correlation to satanism or in that case demonic symbolism. (Atheism-disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods.) Big fan btw.
I can't say I'm shocked by her saying it. Atheism is one of the least tolerated 'beliefs' in the US with over 50% of Americans saying they should be banned from publicly displaying atheism and over a third saying they should be banned from becoming President, teach in schools or hold a rally. I guess it's a short stretch from saying that lack of religious belief means you should be a 2nd class citizen to thinking satanic imagery must be atheism.
Maybe Manson created his persona and image precisely to piss those people off but in terms of what atheism actual is about satanism is just another part of the same fairytale we reject. If most people seem to find comfort in their fairytales then fine but atheists don't seem to need that comfort blanket.
To be fair, satanism in general is branch of atheism, started by LaVey. It's all philosophy and symbolism though, actual devil worshipers are very few and mentally insane.
Vas Diexus to be fair, LaVey's "religion" was more about you respecting yourself as a human, and the ones that are around you, it was called satanism because at that time any religion that was not christian was considered satanism, but he didn't worship the devil, so he didn't start satanism as it is today, he actually founded some rules, and came up with a philosophy that a society could really well live by, his phylosophy was more like atheism
I was pretty sure it was called Satanism because he knew Christians would never read something called the Satanic Bible and they proved his point. And he did start it, as I said, the large majority of people calling themselves Satanists are atheists who follow a similar philosophy, I doubt there are a lot of actual devil worshipers, at least worshipers of the 'evil incarnate' interpretation (like Richard Ramirez)
U guys, realise Manson confirmed being atheïst?
I got into Marilyn Manson because of his voice. It's so unique and I love how he can switch his voice during the song fast.
50 000 subscribers! Fucking awesome! You totally deserve it man seriously you're one of if not the best smaller channels out there, and honestly just probably my favorite in general. You're awesome dude, I can't wait to be here for 100k and past.
As a person and as an artist, there is something that I respect about Mason. I love his interviews more than his music. Though I don't dislike his music and actually amazed on how he became mainstream while having his own unique sound and voice, I wished his music was more versatile.
I agree with you for the most part, you always do great analyses. Few words to clarify some things:
Marilyn Manson is actually a very clever, reasonist, atheist guy who has just said that Satan is a misunderstood character in the christian mythology.
While I agree that his vocals are not that great, his music, lyrics, messages are phenomenal. He has always said that he's essentially an artist, art is his passion. Of course he wouldn't be there without the shock value, but that's the point, he's trying to shock all these people that are stuck in a religious, capitalistic, nationalistic, modern-day "philosophy". Either you become a fan or a hater. That's why he's often being labeled as a satanist, that's one of the best ways to trigger most religious folks out there.
Also, he has a good amount of actually great songs out there, totally worth your time.
George Tsolkas Agreed. I love Mike but I think his opinion on Manson is somewhat driven by preconceived notions about Mansons antics rather than looking at the deeper meaning and expression of the social messages he conveys.
Well... Lucifer is the greatest deciever of all. He can make you believe that he is not such a bad guy and such so... to me, as a Christian, he is fooled by Satan to believe he is not as bad as he was depicted in the Bible. It even says that the greatest trick he would play is making others believe he does not exist. I am not making you all believe what I believe in, but this is coming from what I learned from the Bible.
No this isn´t meaning of words that are in Bible. Manson is very similiar to Christ (like a rebellious popular figure in society) and Lucifer is not even in Bible and originally it is not christian but roman mythology figure made from words "lux" = light "ferre" = carrier. Mythological christian story (not biblical!!!) is about argument between God and Lucifer (Lucifer was like shiniest star in the sky, most powerful angel). Lucifer for some reason fall from Heaven because his opinion on humans (or world, or universe - whatever) was different than God´s. Lucifer is first rebel and even him is very similiar to Christ. That´s about your knowledge of Biblie. I like Marilyn and I think he is very needed artist by society (even by christians)...
@Eddie The Head Why would some loving all-powerful God have a massive book full of awful bullshit to convey simple morals? Seems like the work of some kind of devil to me.
Eddie The Head But what if god is the one who deceives you to believe he is the good one? How would you know?
Funny thing is, I think this is the point of Manson. By pushing it over the edge, he makes you look into that darker side of human mind, discuss it, learn it, perhaps seek ways to avoid it - after all, how can you avoid a danger you are totally unaware of, or even decieving yourself that it doesn't exist?
Even in this video, I may say, that Manson's music unwantingly caused the discussion about morality and etc.
P.S. Yep, look at those comments. That's the point - even here, in comments, people go discussing value of faith, religion, freedom and etc.
Congratulations on 50k subs, you deserve it. This is one of the best channels on RUclips, keep up the great work!!
You sure can hold that mug up for a long time..
And Marilyn Manson is a fantastic artist, he's a creative - he entertains. His lyrics are fucking beautiful.
i really REALLY hope this is satire
Daniel Meh people have different opinions, preferences are subjective. If someone loves Marilyn Manson, that’s for them. I personally am a fan of him.
They're not his lyrics lmao
Kris Poorman He writes his own lyrics lol
Candace Brown I really hope this is a joke Bc he he sucks
I'm drinking tea along with ya, Mike. Being sick sucks :/
Feel better dude. Thanks for being here as always \m/
You're videos are a total blast to watch from an intellectual perspective and/or a comedic perspective, they never disappoint me \m/
The well wishes are much appreciated too, I feel 10x better today than I did yesterday!
I absolutely love Manson. I never understood his music when I would religiously listen to Avenged. He’s definitely an artist. He conveys feelings that I never knew I had.
I get you not liking MM, but as a human you have to admit he is amazing. He has/had the balls to be fighting for the rights of those who society despites. And he also some really good lyrics.
The big difference with Slipknot is Corey Taylor can actually sing.
And Joey Jordison
Manson too :)
and Till from Rammstein, although his heights started falling with age.
Lol shitknot
i love corys voices!
Ahaha they should show these kids some Cattle decapitation videos, if they think THIS stuff is horrible xD

Love Marilyn manson ive heard him since i was born and still love him my idol and fav artist and his style are so fucking awesome love all about him just to be clear😊😂🖤
You should try his last album, The Pale Emperor. It's more of a bluesy type rock based on atmosphere, instead of industrial. Rolling Stone had it as the best metal album of 2015, and even though I disagree with that. It still might be his best album. It's really stripped down to mainly drums and bass. You might like it if you can get past his voice. The main reason I even started listening to some of his music is because of his voice. He might not be a great singer, in the traditional sense, but his voice is unique.
The Pale Emperor is a REALLY good album - Not his best, that will always be Antichrist Superstar! But easily better than the rest of his output and I'd love to see Mike react to Killing Strangers, Third Day of a Seven Day Binge or Odds of Even.
The Film Effect the Rolling stone????? THATS LEGIT THE MOST KNOWLEGEABLE ROCK MAGAZINE OUT THERE, WHAT A FUCKING ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR MARILY MANSON... -_-
The Film Effect I'd say Holy Wood, Antichrist Superstar and The Pale Emperor are his best albums, in that order
+Luke S I guess a lot of people can agree with you here, but I'd say you can't really compare their older albums with _The Pale Emperor_ since there's a rather big difference in the style (and genre) they were going for.
I agree about his voice. It's not great, but it gets the job done. Kinda reminds me of Ozzy Osbourne in that aspect.
Came back because he does have vocal range and he has meaning. Look deep into his music.
The Colombine kids didn't listen to Marilyn Manson anyway they listened to KMFDM and Ministry from what I remember reading, those bands weren't as popular though and Manson was more of an easy target.
I love your thumbnail
Doug Payne one of them was a huge fan of NIN
Jacob Harrison profile pic. a thumbnail is the picture for a video.
The Walrus I meant his account photo I'm a Rush fan too
I get what your saying but I think you missed the point a bit.
It's just that I think his songs are about the point that society is kinda fucked, and he did have a bit of vocal talent a while ago before he did two billion doses of meth. he is not trying to sound like Freddie mercury he is trying to spread a message. Hey at least he is not singing about how much money he has or how many cars he has.
Dude 50,000 subscribers!!!! That's crazy!!! I've been subscribed since you had just a couple hundred!!!!
👏😀😀😀😀😀
My first video of his was the elders react to slipknot video, I've been a loyal viewer ever since.
The Critigamer mine was his video explaining Progressive Metal.
You look like Chris Pratt, if he was a metal head
Good to know I was not the only one to think that!
I never realized that
Even kinda sounds like him abit
Dang ive been here since your real cringey vids 😂😂
Lol! What do you mean since? :P
Since around 20 minutes ago probably...
LMAO!!!!
HAHAHA! Gamingseer, that was perfect.
Maybe Manson doesn't have the best voice but I really like him. He writes awesome lyrics and he's interviews are so inspiring. So yeah I love him
Before people bitch at you
I am a big Marilyn Manson fan since I was 5 years old, and I totally get your opinions about him and it is cool foo.
I myself don't focus on vocal talent and shit like that , he is just a distorted sounding artist that has actually helped me alot through my teen rage and my self expression. Don't really see him as gross at all, I find manson as a very smart down to earth weirdo.
You got rad tastes in music dude ,keep going. Congrats on the subs
And dude,.. not all hip hop is like that, there is interesting hip hop like Tyler the creator that is not all about money and shit. NWA was an amazing hip hop band that was fucking hardcore in it's time, be a lil bit more open about rap and hip hop.
Thanks Ivonne \m/ I can absolutely see how this type of sound and vibe can help a person empathically. And I'm happy you were able to take something positive from it.
Ivonne Deni Tyler kinda is bleh.
Lil peep, pouya, Tupac are more of my type.
Hugo Cortes tyler is just different 😂😂
Become The Knight yeeeyyy gracias ❤❤ lml
Thank you for making these points about Manson. I agree completely. I love Mike, but I think he has generally missed the social commentary and message that Manson portrays in an intelligent yet extreme way. The "gross" comment especially leads me to believe he hasn't quite actually looked into what Manson stands for, because what he does with making people consider other perspectives on hot button issues is quite the opposite of gross, I would even consider it noble. But oh well I guess.
The thing you have to remember about Marilyn Manson, was the time period in which he gained popularity. Yes, he was shock value for shock value's sake. That is what was needed at that time, and he provided that niche. This was a time when practically every hard rock and heavy metal band, and every hip hop artist were being slammed in mainstream media, and by politicians as being evil, satanic, and causing violence. Ozzy was sued for his song Suicide Solution, for crying out loud. We needed someone like Manson to come along and push that envelope farther, and push back against mainstream society's idea of puritanism.
Manson isn't your plain Jane cookie cutter musician. He's more of a artist than a musician. It's shocking but there is a point to it all if you pay attention. Also music is just the vessel he uses to get his point across. Not make a pretty lil song ppl like to hear and is why vocals aren't really important when talkin about Manson unless you're one of those live performance snobs. Plus it doesn't seem like you've ever focused on him lyrically just saw the shock part and was just put off and left it there. Lol
HEMTIN 676 yup.
Exactly. I just commented earlier and said that if he would actually look past the shock value and actually pay attention to the lyrics, he would (hopefully) realise the philosophical depth and complexity of his lyrics. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case.
@name Cooler than some limpdick bitching about people liking things they don't on the internet.
I'm not the biggest Manson fan but c'mon he's had a tremendous influence and impact on music and I just respect how unique and out there he is
Saw react channel, clicked! Saw no alcoholic drink, clicked off the video!
lol
Orange Lemon read your comment, wanted to punch your stupid head with baseball bat
Carla Mary Blacke punch with a baseball bat? Okay.
Funny how this is now being reccomended
Yeah, same here. RUclips sees Marilyn Manson popping up everywhere and thinks “wow, people like Marilyn Manson again, gotta show ‘em more!”
50K!!! 50K MORE LETS FUCKING GO!!!!
I would like to tell you that you´re pretty much my musical mentor! Mike, during the past 5 months that I´ve been watching you, you´ve helped me develop a musical taste of my own by sharing an opinion that I can relate and agree to... Thank you for all the effort you´ve put into the Become The Knight channel and I hope to see you in future videos!
I appreciate that dude \m/
you can dislike Marilyn manson is cool but his lyrics, are insanely profound he is not a great singer he doesnt play any instrument, but he is pure esthetic, his first albums had characters and were conceptual his performance his live showswere brilliant, the way he presents himself I mean the first trilogy was so above average.
that doesn't mean his music is good
My grandma has that same mug LMFAO
Here before 50 billion views
BossDog933 me too
Aw, Mike! I'm so glad your channel is growing so much, you totally deserve it!
I remember I saw Marilyn Manson in Hellfest in 2009, and people weren't into it, the biggest reaction from the audience was with Sweet Dreams XD
Has he reacted to Batmetal?
no
MR SNUGGLETONS I know i just think it'd be funny for him to react to I think it was teens reacting to it
I am 13 yrs old and I am a big fan of Marilyn manson🖤
CONGRATS on 50k man
Thanks dude \m/
Acts like Manson, Rob Zombie, Slipknot, Alice Cooper are about the entire experience...audio and visual. The music is made as much to compliment the visuals as much as it is made to stand on its own. These are acts that are far better seen live, which is the perfect environment to get all aspects of their act as they are meant to be experienced.
Think of their music more like a movie soundtrack than as a stand alone piece of music
Also, credit where it's due Mike, very fair and accurate description of Manson. If shock rock acts aren't your thing then yes, you won't love it. Shock fans value the visual as much as the music, which runs counter to a music fans like yourself that dissect the music itself and love to nerd out on music theory.
Corey Taylor and Alice Cooper can sing though
Luke’s Wall Alice Cooper is fun, campy, and has humor to it, which is probably why he draws more of a diverse crowd at concerts and shows
Finally you are such a intelligent cool dude but no whiskey
I prefer thinking you're the fool if you think it's "tea". Imo he just doubled down on it!
At least drink coffee and not tea
Only real tea is southern sweet tea on ice

Holy hell 50k subs congrats man. I remember the day when you were at 2k
I remember seeing you around then. Thanks for being here and supporting dude \m/
I like some of what Marilyn Manson has made but I have to agree with Mike about the artist thing. He is an artist in shock value and he is really good at what he does. I think he deserves some respect in that regard.
React to Frog Leap Studios - Metal covers... PLEASE
one Time he spend the afternoon with a sick fan and used the teen's back up vocals on his 4th studio album "mechanical Animals".
I love marilyn manson
I respect your opinion about marilyn manson
@BecomeTheKnight Congrats on your 50k!! Loving the channel, not a gigantic fan of manson, but i like listening ot from time to time, but as to the message, the guy has a quite some argument on what he sais, it would be onteresting to see a conversation between you and him :'D and i kind of believe that if someone is in a mental state to let him or herself be influenced by a song, then that person is already fucked up enough, having listened to the song or not.
Just my opinion
Again, you are one of my favourite channels
Keep up the great work
Beautiful People video is a jewel by Floria Sigismondi
Finally❤❤Congrats on reaching 50k subscribers🤘🏻
Columbine shooters didn't like him they basically called him a poser they where more fans of Nine Inch Nails as far as quoting Nine Inch Nails lyrics in their diary.
I still remember the day I picked up Golden Age of Grotesque, and really digging that new KMFDM vibe he had, and then opening up the liner notes and seeing he'd picked up Tim Skold. I went through a Manson phase, and what I took away from it was that the guy thrives on narrative. In one of my shortest ever meets, I gave him a fist bump and a "go kill em'" walking past him in the back hall on his way onstage. He said kinda surprised "Hey. Thanks man." Nervous. Literally just 2 dudes walking opposite ways down a hallway. Fist bump. Good wishes. Devil horns. that's it. I think he had a case of pre-show butterflies combined with probably expecting me to fanboy and/or stab him. This was Mile High Stadium, Denver, 2000. About 20 min away from Columbine, and there were protestors outside the venue with picket signs and chanting, and they were trying to get us to trade our METALLICA tickets for tickets to the Nuggets instead. Denver peeps, you know what a joke that was back then. Cop pulled me over...gave me a ticket...to the Nuggets.
Anyways. Manson. Cool dude.
And the same day Marilyn released a new song!!!
A little new to your channel but have checked out a bunch of your videos and have now subscribed. I'm curious to know who your favorite bands/singers are. You have made me look at things a little differently and I think that is one of the beautiful things about music. Starts a conversation
I actually listen to manson, and I like it. Kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. I happen to be one of those people that believe any form of self expression (as long as you don't hurt people) is OK, and I agree with him on a lot of social issues, so that probably helps.
But everything past 2000 was absolute horseshit.
Also fun fact: Marilyn Manson the musician originally was him thinking that media is so infatuated with dark themes that all he had so do was do controversial themes. Then he became a full artist like today.
And the columbine shooters actually though manson was a fucking loser.
Emmy Rota I agree. After Holy Wood, Manson's writing and career overall went really downhill. His Pale Emperor album was a step back on track though.
Freddymega x really guys? I find the pale emperor a great album, perhaps one of my favourites. Lots of great tracks in it
George Tsolkas I agree. Pale Emperor was pretty damn good.
Am I really the only person that likes everything post Holy Wood.
Nicky Garcia I feel like the only person who dislikes everything post Holy Wood, so there ya go, lol
I completely agree with you, my parents rarely ever monitored what we listened to, but taught us to look at music for what it is, a piece of art, not to be taken literally. I listen to all sorts of music not just in the metal/rock/alternative genre. However, eminem went through a similar case back in the early 2000’s and another case even blamed Grand Theft Auto for their child’s behavior... like you’ve stated you could argue that was part of the environment but it boils down to the parents not being a parent to their kids. Now that I’ve gotten off my soapbox, you’ve earned yourself a new subscriber, congrats on 50,000! All the best xo.
I have yet to meet an emotionally stable Manson fan in person...
Not even trying to hate, just making an anecdotal comment on my experience.
9:05 please make a video about your perspective. I feel somewhere in the middle on the argument and I’d love to see someone discuss this. Love the content, man. 🤘🏻
The Beautiful People is about the great lenghts that Hollywood stars go to so they can still appear youthful.
I really hate that people blame music for shit like the Columbine shooting. It really pisses me off that they're so ignorant
NerdCafe True dat
"The Beautiful People" video makes me think of the movie "The Cell"
Bro, I love Marilyn Manson. I love his voice and his earlier music and his more modern music
"Seems like a fun concert to go to... if you're dead" LMMAAOOO
The way you speak about him actually reminds me a phone call between M. MANSON and Justin Beaber. Beaber talking about making music together 😂😂😂 and Manson answer was: whatever you say man!
He was being sarcastic and showing he doesn't have time for this shit. I bet after your review on his music he would say: Whatever you say man. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love your content man. Hilarious with an unmatched taste in/knowledge about music. Super underrated channel on YT. You got my sub
How come atheism is treated as some sort of mental disorder in the US? In most developed countries its just the default view... Why the hostility?
Yo man I’ve watched a few of your videos already and im actually loving the way you stop and breakdown things in to gritty details and you actually explain what you feel and idk it’s just cool
I’m now a subscriber loving the videos
The argument that music can cause issues like Columbine and other incidents of the type always runs up against Charles Manson and him "hearing messages" in The Beatles which he said caused him to kill.
Daniel Beeching Music doesn't do it, mental health issues do.
The man is a legend haters would only disagree he has been in music business for three decades and stil relevant today how many artists can say that you may not like his music but there is millions who does.
Some people just don't understand art.
I like that you are respectful of the musicians as an artist even though the work's sometimes not really your bag. Kudos!
I'd like to digitally shake your hand here, way cool. See ya next time, ace!
Very proud of your 50k. You definitely deserve more. #changeallJakePaul'ssubsintoMike'ssubs

Clean and to thr point :)
As an atheist I can say that I agree with some of the stuff that Manson says and does. Maybe he is not that much of a talented musician, but he definatly is a smart man and a good lyricist, if he makes the lyrics for the band.
That's what I've been waiting for. Cheers mate
I love Manson's "trilogy" (Antichrist, Mechanical Animals, Holy Wood), but I rarely visit any of his other material.
EXCEPT!
Eat Me, Drink Me is, to me, one of his finest albums. For Manson, it's a very naked album in that he tries to provide vocal melodies more than his typical shout-talking thing. There's also some wicked guitar work on that album, including several great guitar solos. I was hoping he was going in this direction from there on out, but he immediately went back to trying to recapture the '90s again. Eat Me, Drink Me is mature, and closer to classic rock/metal than anything he's ever done.
So I know this is a really late response, I watched a recent interview with Manson and Danny Elfman that took place around 2006 after the release of "this is Halloween" and Manson had commented that this project reminded him that he could sing and inspired him to get back into the studio. Following if which Eat me, Drink me came out in 2007. One of my favorite album of his, and has really only grown on me more as I've grown older.
Why was I not subbed to you, I've watched a load of your videos and loved them!
Mike, what do you think of technical death metal??
This is a good example of what a reaction video should be.
Manson is weird yes, but extremely smart and intelligent
