Is this sarcasm because if so i love it. I dont know much about the Black Adam story line but everytime Hollywood doesnt follow the source material it makes me hate them a little more..... which i kinda like.
Cept hawkman and the atom are both black in this. I can maybe understand hawkman.. They changed hos canon from alien to Egyptian magic.. but he's always been white. So was the atom. People would freak if they made the black lightning or any black character white..

Wolverine is 5'3 Canadian while Hugh Jackman is over 6foot Australian, Selina Kyle was mixed or darker pigment since Frank Miller's Batman Year One YET Cat woman was played by 2 white women in the movies, Peter Parker has Jewish roots in the comics but Tom Holland has Irish roots...Bane is Cuban but Tom Hardy is Irish and England roots.....But white ppl seem to only get butt hurt when the tables are turned...if they can act...and race wasn't part of their identity than what's the big deal? What I mean by race not being a huge part of their identity examples would look like Black Panther being white...or Winter Soldier not being white. There obviously some nuance with lesser known characters. So can we stop crying over companies trying to engage with representation and inclusionism 😒

Well.. They apparently made hawkman and the atomsmasher black as well. I don't care about smasher.. but hawk is supposed to have blue eyes and long blonde hair.. of course I believe in diversity.. but write some great new black heroes. Don't change a beloved character that has been white for 60 years. I would be just as upset if they made a black character white .

Reason I won’t watch this movie or any super hero movie is because of the misplaced unfunny cringe awkward comedy the last time I went to the movies and saw one of these type movies one of the characters cracked a joke and the theaters was still quiet the second joke made everyone in the theaters cringe I heard a bunch of “awwwgha & uuuuughhh”

I love DC and the Rock, but I think you may be right. At the end I’m like…meh. All that was missing was the usual blue sky beam destroying the city & it would be a normal super hero trailer !

I Don't want to overate every garbage they make. it's ok if it was super hero movie but it has to be feel like that. look at Henry Cavill in superman or other actor in DC superhero. At least they should have make up Black Adam's hair 🤭. This totally rock and his usual acting skills.
