Hey Tom! I want to say thanks for all the videos! We just got a new puppy (7weeks) and In 1 week she is potty trained, looks at me before I reward her, and does not wine in the kennel.
great video Tom! this was a clear and concise compilation of some really important concepts that I know were lost on me when I began to develop a more appropriate relationship with my dog
I LOVE the prey pole. I actually made my own with a lunge whip for horses and tied a plastic bag at the end and my dog thinks it’s the best thing ever and it’s super cheap to make! Like $15. Great option for both exercise and mental. Love you Tom!! ❤
Thank you Tom. I’m guilty of talking to my dog because he’s the only one around to talk to. I always follow up with something he understands though. I ve recommended your videos to a lot of people and try to use your methods on my dog. Now I guess I’ll have to start talking to myself.😃
Wow did he get huge! I appreciate all the videos you share with us on the road to training our dogs. I do believe it’s a lot easier when you have a young pup vs my circumstance of having adopted a four year old dog who spent a month in the shelter. He’s doing good with the simple commands I’m training him having watched your videos. Thank you! 😊❤️🙏🏼
Thank you Tom! I know giving things away for free sucks…but I’ve been watching you for a good while now, and I learn something new every time AND I feel like you are talking directly to me, because I resemble some of those remarks. I feel it’s not the training but maintaining, not my dog but me. She is so smart but I goof it sometimes. Thank you again. Always learning!
Thank you Tom!!! Love these videos. Grateful to you and your no bad dogs mission ❤❤❤ It brings light to this world. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours 🤗
Great video, thanks. Which videos should I start with train my dog? He is a 6 1/2 year old Pittie mix rescue. He knows Sit and I have been trying heel on morning walks.
Tom, if we purchase one of your classes, is there a time limit of how long it is available to us? We are thinking of rescuing a dog in the future and felt the beginner class might be of help.
And stop petting them when they are being reactive or even staring at another dog or person. In our minds we're trying to appease them or prevent them from reacting, but in their mind, you're praising them - yeah, keep doing that, keep acting anxious, that's what I want. Sometimes I think it's even unconscious behavior on our part - watch what you're petting! Engage disengage game helps a lot and distance is your friend. Taking them out to do nothing but sit on a mat at a distance from a possible trigger and chew on a frozen Kong or even a frozen marrow bone. (Provided they're not resource guarders from you). Or when it's time to leave, take your bone with you. Hope that helps.
My in-laws are guilty of this with their dominant, barky, resource-guarding 7-year-old Chihuahua. I called them out on it one day as they were petting their Chihuahua while their dog was barking and snarling at my pitbull mix. And they wonder why he never gets better.
Finally, the flirt pole! My Great Dane Toby loves this! Heck I love it. Pro tip: start out slow, get your dog warmed up in order to avoid injuries.
Burleigh is huge now!
This is GOLD. so practical
This is holy video😇 the secret behind a good, healthy relationship with your dog. Thank you Tom ❤🙌🙋🏼♀️

Tom I am grateful for your videos. They have helped so much. I wish you could meet my golden Elsie. Thank you so much Sharon and Elise and Cody
