- What’s more glamorous than a Waterworks kitchen designed by Adam Hunter? Not much! Seamlessly blending his contemporary, warm, and slightly restrained personal style with his clients’ vision for the perfect kitchen, bicoastal designer Adam Hunter created this stunning interior in the Pacific Palisades with the word ‘happy’ in mind. He infused this light-filled space with subtle references to French design and topped it off with some Los Angeles glamour! Hunter observes “When the sun pours through the glass and refracts off the polished nickel inlay on the elephant grey cabinets, what other word would come to mind than glamour?!”
Every detail in the kitchen - from the customized inserts to the perfect slow-close doors - was well-thought-out and meticulously planned. While the craftsmanship and quality of the cabinets was what originally attracted Hunter to work with Waterworks Kitchens, it’s the outstanding team at the showroom that keeps him coming back. The knowledgeable staff ensures Hunter is always providing his clients with the most efficient, most beautiful, and most specialized products. The cabinets’ walnut interior is the perfect foil to the elephant grey exteriors and when it came to the island, Adam worked tirelessly with the Waterworks team to customize the perfect gathering place. After all, the kitchen is where everyone congregates! Hunter struck the perfect balance between traditional and transitional with the oval shape and gentle fluting, and the subtle curve makes the island feel as though it’s hugging itself.

I am in love with this kitchen. It’s contemporary but classic and will still look relevant many years from now. I love the polished nickel inserts, the walnut interior of the cabinets, the fluted curvy island, and the gorgeous veiny marble. Simply stunning

The result is a beautiful kitchen. However the narration is an example of why people hesitate to work with interior designers.
Can you elaborate? I thought he had a great sense of humour and was very thoughtful and creative in the design 🙂

What is the size of that beautiful island?
I dont see warmth on white on white on white. The only warm is the inside of the kitchen cabinets.
It's a warm Dove Grey, not white.
Adam's kitchen is nice but he is rather annoying.
His comment that the design has to work for him should send red flags to anyone wishing for their home to represent who they are and how they want to live in the space. Also, his incorrect use of the word “myself” was telling as well.
