Houses in Montauk are absolutely gorgeous. I had the opportunity to stay at a lovely beach house in June right on the beach front and minutes from town. Great area, just relaxing! I felt no stress at all felt like I was floating.
The ocean is my serenity, so he must feel the same. The view is spectacular! I especially like the bedroom and kitchen. These two are complete opposites, I'm glad for them that works. I've been in a relationship with an opposite and no way could that work for me!
A lot of ideas here. One thing I love is seeing trees and shrubs in the middle distance in front of the ocean. This concept was used in Japanese wood block prints and of course by many other artists.
Some really helpful advice in creating a space that is not only a home but a sanctuary. I found Mr. Wolf's commentary about connecting the inside and outside especially insightful. A beautiful home that is so deeply personal. Thank you for sharing it with us.
