Hope you guy's enjoyed this roll as much as I did. If you pick up a Limitless rashguard tag me on instagram with you wearing it. I'd love to see it! www.xmartial.com/search?q=limitless

    Training for about 4 years and Just went up against a huge powerlifter. I was so happy after the roll because I felt so calm and didn’t panic when I felt his weight and strength. I sort of just went “around” it and I think that’s one of those things I never considered when I first started

    Man this was soooo much fun too do I cannot wait for us to roll in the Gi. Nooo joke friends Jordon is an absolute machine , and that goes for all the amazing people from his gym I got to meet and roll with. When I first saw Jordon , I was like this guys legs are bigger then both my legs hahaha.
    I certainly should clear something up and I even I had to re watch this to be sure. - I do not jump guard, if this is jumping guard it is the first time ever lol , I was so nervous for one. Jordan was a beast . And I just rolled 2 of his savages before him and pretty much realized my fate real quick. Then you have us in front of camera. and I have never even met or rolled this UNIVERSAL SOLDIER before hahah . 2 I don't remember it as me jumping guard. I remember me trying to step into you and very badly misjudged your size and distance , my plan was to get under your arm take your back . I know it doesn't look like that because it pretty much was the wrong thing to do considering how low you got . So what really happen here is the very second I realized shit I shouldn't of done that Jordon drives me back and for me I was falling on my back . Now the feeling of falling when your 280lbs is lets say scary hahaha, it was just my mental reaction to close up my guard other then to fall on my back with my legs flat on the mat . The last thing I ever would do is anything to injure anyone I'm a teddy bear for real.
    And Jordon brother , I know you know there was no intention to ever do anything to ever hurt you - I seen you express this in one of the comments . I'm so happy no injuries happened I would of been completely embarrassed. I loved this video and you are so great at delivering amazing content . I really look forward to rolling you in the Gi that's definitely more my game. I wont be so nervous now that I got to meet how amazing you are it will certainly be an even better roll.

    • @JordanTeachesJiujitsu
      @JordanTeachesJiujitsu  Год назад +6

    Hi Jordan. Thank you so much for these videos. I have just recently started BJJ and I'm completely hooked. Your videos have thought me a lot of things already and I'm very thankful for you taking the time to produce such high quality videos. One thing that I'm struggling with right now, is not knowing what submission I can go for when I'm in the dominant position. This is purely because I don't know many submissions yet, but might it be a video idea to give like a few basic submissions that white belts (and of course higher belts too) can learn, so that you have a few options? Much appreciated and looking forward to future videos! All the best from Belgium!

    • @JordanTeachesJiujitsu
      @JordanTeachesJiujitsu  Год назад +1

      It's a good idea, thank you for it! I will think about creating one such video for sure - but just as a piece of advice: you'll learn several of these submissions for sure in the next 1-3 months.
      So, when you roll (spar), try to use them then. Don't just focus on using the techniques during drills, but try to use them whenever you have an opportunity to do so in rolling.
      That way, you'll memorize them and they'll become second nature much sooner than they would otherwise. 🙏

      @@JordanTeachesJiujitsu I didn't get submitted since I applied your strategic control points (never let the head, underhook, and elbow/knee space be controlled). So I would say that the concept of T-Rex Arms has really changed everything for me. I think the success of your channel lies in the fact that you don't hesitate to repeat things a hundred times if necessary, where other instructors can get bored and want to bounce from one technique to another - which contributes to overloading the brain of the practitioners.

    Hey Jordan love ur videos!
    My top 3 effective submissions (RNC, Triangle, Armbar)
    The 3 least effective ones
    Hmm this is a lot harder...
    Id say Omoplata (even tho i love i can't always finish ppl with it), gogoplata and maybe cross collar chokes. Oss!
